No way! I can't be the first to review this wonderful park! WOW! It's truly a wonderful park, it's just truly an amazing setting with breathtaking views of mountains and well spread out; next door is the Regional park - another review & and hidden gem! It's about 32.5 acres. Perfect for taking a nice long stroll in and around it. (Nice trail alongside and leads into park as well) It has fields/mounds, basketball courts, picnic areas throughout (some w/shelter), barbecues, restrooms, amphitheater & I believe sand volleyball court, with Community Center (w/indoor gym) on grounds. I went there three years ago for Jazzercise, oh my God it was so nice! I believe at night when there are games, it's well lit. Newly remodeled parking area in the recent years also well lit at night and is very accommodating. People there are always friendly and responsible pet owners that look after their beloved pets. When I am visiting family out there or just feel home sick (I plan to retire out there), I always go there to breath in the fresh mountain air, it's gorgeous in the winter time as well. I'm not sure if you need to contact them to reserve tables (I would imagine so) it gets packed around weekends during Spring, Summer time & for birthday parties & large family/local events and holidays. But do call them in advance and check out the cities website for more information. (I think I copied most of the info, but just in case): http://www.yucaipa.org/aboutyucaipa/cityParks.php

Great park in MoVall! I was looking for free kid friendly activities in the area and went here for…read morethe splash pad. I saw the splash pad opens at 11am. We got there around 11:20. The teeny tiny parking lot holds maybe 16 cars, but there's plenty of parking right outside in the residential area. We went today, which is a Friday and although the street signs said No Parking on Fridays due to street sweeping, at least a dozen cars were parked so I took a chance and parked on the street too, hoping the patrol and street sweep already happened. I carried our camping chairs and stuff and posted up inside the splash pad where there was shade under a big palm tree. They had 4 concrete benches and ledges but most were not shaded. A bunch of families had their blankets and chairs set up outside the splash pad fence under all the trees. The restrooms were just past the front of the entrance to the splash pad. The play ground was right next door with some shade and a good size jungle gym and 4 swings, 2 of which are those giant chair swings. And because it is summer, the school district had 3 pops that were serving free lunch to all the kids. Fridays was cheeseburgers, which was perfect! They packed up around 12:30pm, so come before noon! We had a blast and will definitely come back this summer!

Celebration Park in Moreno Valley used to be one of my favorite splash pad parks to visit with my…read morechildren. Unfortunately, after a recent incident that I don't want to get into, my opinion of this park has completely changed. While I had never experienced anything quite like what happened during my last visit, I have had smaller, somewhat similar situations happen here before. I brushed them off at the time, but after this most recent experience, I definitely look at this park differently. One thing I have noticed almost every time I've visited is the amount of children who seem to be completely unsupervised, running around and doing whatever they want without a parent nearby. I'm definitely a helicopter parent when we're at parks because anything can happen in a matter of seconds, and let's be honest, the world we live in nowadays doesn't always feel safe. I understand kids are there to play and have fun, but parents still need to be present and aware of what their children are doing. During my last visit, there was also a group of people smoking weed at the park, and the smell was EXTREMELY obvious. Listen, there's nothing wrong with what adults choose to do on their own time, but please keep it away from children and family areas. A children's park and splash pad is not the place for kids to be surrounded by the smell of marijuana. It's unfortunate because I genuinely enjoyed bringing my kids here, especially for the splash pad. But after my last experience, I highly doubt I'll be returning. Sometimes one situation is enough to completely change how comfortable you feel in a place, and unfortunately, that's what happened for me with Celebration Park.

I come here frequently to either play pickle ball with the Yucaipa Pickleball club, take my son to the playground, and even for a date picnic with my wife. The park is well-maintained and the city has invested a lot of money and time into keeping the Park updated and continually making changes based off of the needs and requests of the community. I absolutely recommend bringing your family here for some safe, fun and activities!

There have been a few changes in the past few years here. The dog park is closed but it is my understanding that the city will be reopening it again over by the gazebo area. The skatepark is closed and the covered courts area has been expanded to where the skatepark used to be. Yucaipa's main skatepark is over next to the high school off of 13th street. The new covered area is now home to 4 permanent pickleball courts which makes for an amazing space for youth who may not have their own nets yet and for anyone to come play in the shade. Yucaipa Pickleball Club reserves these courts for club play through the city. Club hours are generally in the mornings and the 4th Saturday of the month. Specific club hours can be found on their website www.yucaipapickleball.com
