Great park in MoVall! I was looking for free kid friendly activities in the area and went here for the splash pad. I saw the splash pad opens at 11am. We got there around 11:20. The teeny tiny parking lot holds maybe 16 cars, but there's plenty of parking right outside in the residential area. We went today, which is a Friday and although the street signs said No Parking on Fridays due to street sweeping, at least a dozen cars were parked so I took a chance and parked on the street too, hoping the patrol and street sweep already happened. I carried our camping chairs and stuff and posted up inside the splash pad where there was shade under a big palm tree. They had 4 concrete benches and ledges but most were not shaded. A bunch of families had their blankets and chairs set up outside the splash pad fence under all the trees. The restrooms were just past the front of the entrance to the splash pad. The play ground was right next door with some shade and a good size jungle gym and 4 swings, 2 of which are those giant chair swings. And because it is summer, the school district had 3 pops that were serving free lunch to all the kids. Fridays was cheeseburgers, which was perfect! They packed up around 12:30pm, so come before noon! We had a blast and will definitely come back this summer! read more

Celebration Park in Moreno Valley used to be one of my favorite splash pad parks to visit with my children. Unfortunately, after a recent incident that I don't want to get into, my opinion of this park has completely changed. While I had never experienced anything quite like what happened during my last visit, I have had smaller, somewhat similar situations happen here before. I brushed them off at the time, but after this most recent experience, I definitely look at this park differently. One thing I have noticed almost every time I've visited is the amount of children who seem to be completely unsupervised, running around and doing whatever they want without a parent nearby. I'm definitely a helicopter parent when we're at parks because anything can happen in a matter of seconds, and let's be honest, the world we live in nowadays doesn't always feel safe. I understand kids are there to play and have fun, but parents still need to be present and aware of what their children are doing. During my last visit, there was also a group of people smoking weed at the park, and the smell was EXTREMELY obvious. Listen, there's nothing wrong with what adults choose to do on their own time, but please keep it away from children and family areas. A children's park and splash pad is not the place for kids to be surrounded by the smell of marijuana. It's unfortunate because I genuinely enjoyed bringing my kids here, especially for the splash pad. But after my last experience, I highly doubt I'll be returning. Sometimes one situation is enough to completely change how comfortable you feel in a place, and unfortunately, that's what happened for me with Celebration Park. read more

The park is nice, family friendly! The walk area is nice, you can get your laps in and it circles around the perimeter of the park. The kids can ride their scooters easily. The playground has plenty of things to play on! Bring your basketball, there is a small court too. read more

Love coming to the playground especially for the splash pad during the hot weather days. The bathrooms are clean and there is large shaded area for people to eat. Only downside, like all of MoVal nice parks but the playground is always in direct sunlight so kids can only play on select areas without getting burned. read more

The park is very nice and always clean. The splash pad is still well maintained after being here for so long. However the staff assigned to the splash pad in particular hardly care to enforce rules, which has resulted in injury for my children multiple times. One of the few free places to cool off in the summer. Just wish it was a bit safer. read more

Great park for kiddos all ages safe clean kids enjoy the water and safe you can see kiddos no matter where you sit I love it there

This is the park closes to my house. It is one of the busiest parks in the city due to the water feature. This was such a cool aspect when my kids were smaller. It is also the place that the school comes to every year before summer break. I now feel like its just a little to crowded and I'm not crazy about all the gates. I understand that it helps keep; your children a little safer and helps so that people don't steal the artificial turf, I just think they could've made it more attractive. Its a great place to walk in the morning or just before dusk and if you want family fun for free this is the place to be. read more

Has a water park in the middle of park lots of shade. In a good area . Plenty of fire pits for BBQ. Very family safe. The water park does not have a pool it is more like glorified foundations all over . Two park staff sit in the front which is good for parents. Does have have any problem with homeless. read more

This park has a water area that makes it a mini water park. No water slides, but has fountains and sprayers and buckets that dump water on you. This park only has one basketball court and is limited in parking. There is street parking but there is one day for street sweeping... Because of the water area, this park is usually busier than the other local parks. read more

Really nice, clean park! Love the splash pads on one side and the play area on the other. The two areas are directly across from each other which is nice for parents to watch there kids who might want to do different things. This is a nice park to have a picnic and play in the water. Hooray for free splash pads! Most of them in the I.E. are closed due to the drought. Celebration has one of the bigger ones I have seen. I saw comments that the water features are broken but actually only one is. The other 6 features go on sporadically. I'm sure this is just to save water. I love that the splash pad is enclosed so kids can't wander. Also, there are a few nice shade trees and benches. Bring a chair or blanket and relax. The play structure is close enough you can see both at the same time. Can I just say the fake grass in the playground is awesome?! No wood chips sticking in your shoes and it's so much prettier than that rubber crap other parks have. I saw complaints about it being packed and I can see how it would be since its such a nice park. What a bummer. Hours should be updated. I came July 7th at 1:48pm and the water section was close. I drove 40 miles for nothing. Hours are not even posted on the entrance. Very disappointing. read more

This is probably the best public park in Moreno Valley. Most of the time the water is not on, but it's still a nice place to for children to play or for other people to hang out at. And when the water does come on, man is this place fun... and crowded! I like to come here when it rains if I'm in the area, the bench areas are covered and it is a relatively nice neighborhood since it's in the "Rancho Belago" side of town :-) read more

It's nice, parking is sparse and there's not much seating through out the park. Few of the water stations are broken and water pressure kinda blows. My child had fun but it's really packed and the other parents can be really rude. It's starting to look like they may need to do some repairs and painting. read more

I love this park. Very close to our house and has a water feature for the kids when it's hot. They love it there, but the only thing I don't like is all the skateboard kids. Kinda scary sometimes. I have little kids and accidents can happen. read more

This is a fun little water attraction for younger kids. I've taken my Son a few times and we've enjoyed the water area as well as the swing/slide area. Seems clean and safe, I don't agree 100% with the "staff" that works at the "snack bar". They aren't very friendly and are somewhat inappropriate with their conversations/profanity. read more

DO NOT go after 4pm or on a holiday weekend! Unless you want your toddler hit, shoved, practically ran over by a bunch of unsupervised manner-lacking kids with no parents to be found, even young babies & toddlers! No one watching them, as they come up to strangers gesturing to be put on the swings. If you want a front row ticket to that, go to this park! If you like being in fear with your child at hand, go here on a long weekend! Sad! Very sad what this City has become! Make sure you go here before noon or drive a bit to a Riverside park like Hunter Park off of Iowa & experience a nice afternoon or evening with your kids amongst parent's involved in a safer setting, for the most part. read more

Been going to this park for years, never had a problem, this year however has been a little interesting. So I just want to jot down a few things here. We've only been a few times and its been a sad sight to see the "staff" being harassed by the community, or not doing their job, unsupervised children, to total disrespect of other people's children. Bottom line parents should have their kids within arms length, the community should learn some respect, and give staff a break, they have rules put in place by their superiors, and also I learned that they don't control the water, its all done by maintenance, so if there's a problem with the water they have to wait for maintenance. There are a few who actually do their job but are the main one's being yelled/cursed at. The unsupervised children is becoming a pandemic ive had too many lost children asking me for either food or to find their parents, Get it together! I would hate to see something tragic happen because of negligence from parents, we as a community who enjoy this park should be able to help and do our part as others do theirs. read more
