I have two small dogs and we've been going to Yukiko for years. My dogs are always happy to see her, never afraid. She is so kind and caring but also efficient. Everything is always super clean. She does a thorough cleaning and her scissor work is great. They are always beautifully trimmed. What I love best is that she communicates very well. Sends photos if she sees any issue while grooming and gives recommendations for things that can help. She likes clients to be on time, so she can stick to a schedule and thoroughly clean between appointments, but I appreciate that because my dogs are ready for pick up on time and I know they have been in a clean safe environment. Very rigid. We went to Yukiko a total of 56 times (6 1/2 years) and came in at the wrong time ONE TIME and she wanted to charge a missed appt fee! Seems unreasonable. We spent over $5000 in total with her. If I made a request to keep my dogs hair 1/2" longer she wanted to charge an additional fee because it was harder for her to keep up. We have two, 2 year old, cockapoos. A friend recommended Yukiko's grooming, and because we loved the attention to detail her dog was getting, we called to schedule. We've done 2 grooming appointments with Yukikos and the results are amazing!! She is a stylist, not simply a groomer. She really looks at the dogsfeatures and body type and does the cut to suit, making sure their look is in balance. We're impressed. They are also incredibly evenly cut. We are super happy with the cut, and the kind service she provides to our fur family members. Follow up 01/14/24: Yukiko has been grooming our pups for 2 years now. She is consistently amazing. Our dogs have never had a bad cut, and they're excited when we drop them off. They know where they're going as soon as we turn into the parking lot and they jump out of the car. I wanted to make an appointment here since I heard from a friend that it was great and my dog needs a nail clipping etc. However, when I tried to make an appointment she said she was booked for the whole month, and when I told her to give me the next available date, she just sent me pictures of some product she used so I could do it myself. This was also after I said I had a chihuahua. I don't know if she was put off by that or what. I took both my pups here to get groomed. They hadn't been groomed in months which is not normal since they are Morkies they need grooming. Due to covid I have given them baths at home and only cut by their eyes so they can see lol. I made an appointment with her but was hesitant since I normally like to stick to the same place since my pups are high maintenance! She is practicing Covid restrictions, which was nice to see being a nurse, so you can not go in the facility. Normally when I pick them up they are shaking and scared and usually have at least one cut or bruise on them plus they are mad at me for a few hours when they get home. I understand she is busy busy, and I had a 7 AM apt this morning, but I unfortunately was running a little late and got to the shop at 7:15. She loudly told me "TOO LATE! TOO LATE!" Had a really bad experience with this place. My puppy had an appointment at 12 and at around 12:45 I receive a call from the lady leting me know that she had another dog coming in at 1:00 therefore she was not going to continue working with mine until she finished with her 1:00 appointment and wouldn't finish with mine up until 6:00pm. I asked her if I could pick her up then and take her back at a later time that way my dog wouldn't have to wait until 6:00 without eating. She told me that she had washed her already, so it didn't make sense if she had already washed her she was going to leave her like that until she finished with another dog. I went to pick her up, she was super wet, tangled, and not smelling clean (if she had washed her wouldn't at least she smell clean?). Besides that she had a horrible attitude and really bad customer service. read more

Love this place! My Lola always looks so beautiful when she leaves, especially with the pretty accessories of a bow in her hair and a scarf around her neck. They show genuine concern for her especially since she has seizures. They make sure she comes in early so she can leave early so as to add no needed stress. I really appreciate that! Occasionally, they do limit the number of new customers they accept, but that is because they want to make sure to provide the same excellent service to every customer. If the choice was between having to wait a bit or get great service, I know we would choose great service. When your dog actually "likes" getting out of the car to get groomed, then you know they must be doing something right. They are kind, honest, and very very professional.
