This took place in February or March 2026, and it's now early May, so unfortunately I don't remember the repairman's name, as I would definitely give him kudos for his workmanship & pleasant demeanor. The repairman who came out was very efficient & candid about what had happened & what needed to be done. It ended up being a particular fuse that sat immediately behind the control panel had failed, & it just required replacement. There was an entire litany of things that could've gone wrong with it, & he could've quoted me on several of those things, replaced them & charged me exorbitantly for the parts & labor. But... he did not. He was very honest with me & even educated me a little while he checked other parts ( mainly a different fuse on the back of the oven ) to make sure they were functional before he left. I most certainly would use Adam's Appliance Repair. Unfortunately for Yelp, I won't be needing their services in seeking an appliance repair service company - I've found who I'm sticking with hereafter!!

Everything was great until delivery. I signed off on delivery, and as he's leaving he tells me that the door panel (which is the primary method of operating the machine), only operates with the door nearly all the way open, making it very frustrating to operate. It's also likely indicative of a pinched or damaged wire, which can be dangerous. While I didn't love that he dropped that after I signed the delivery form, I didn't think it would be an issue because the 30 day store warranty is supposed to cover parts and labor (with a deductible, which is fine). They're now refusing to repair it and saying that my only option is to bring it back up there myself (mind you, it's large and I had paid a decent amount for delivery) and receiving store credit, which is useless. Also, be aware that the 30 day warranty they advertise is pretty much useless unless the appliance is dead on arrival. On the phone, James said almost verbatim "If we went out of our way to fix every minor issue on scratch and dent items, we wouldn't make any money" -- I've bought plenty of scratch and dent items. They all have functioned properly (or if they weren't properly functioning, they disclosed it prior to purchase/delivery). This also isn't minor -- it's literally significantly affecting the primary mode of operation of the device. Ultimately the worst scratch and dent experience I've had out of dozens and very frustrating. I don't mind cosmetic damage, but failing to disclose that the primary touch panel on an appliance doesn't work correctly and then not standing behind your own warranty is borderline fraudulent.

So why did I change my 5 stars to 2 stars? After a pleasant call and working out a deal on the phone, I loaded up my trailer to pick up my purchase. Well, the deal changed by $149 and exceeded my limit. Kermit denied what he said on the phone. It wasn't really the money as much as the disrespect. I guess it makes a difference when the owner is not on site. In fairness he sent a text offering to accept a check for the original amount if I would come back. I already spent 3 hours on this, so I countered I would have a check ready if he delivered. No answer..... I'll include my original review from my previous visits below. Awesome Yanmar dealer.
