I came 30 minutes late which means that WALK INS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. That false advertisement needs to be removed. I am like one year in living in Ocala Florida and everything is so far away and I rely on GPS and the distance alone is horrible adding the traffic. Since Isabella urinated twice (when Isabella senses negative attention she gets anxious) by the time I got home which took me one hour I had to drive back soon as I pulled in my driveway. That annoyed me. So once I arrived Isabella was given a bath and there was no charge. After this horrible incident I now found another groomer who cares about my baby Isabella. I will never in my life bring my Isabella back to this location. 30 minutes late and I always leave one hour before I go ANYWHERE UP HERE IN OCALA. That's my review and highly suggest removing WALK INS WELCOMED because if that's the case my Isabella would not have been treated like a burden.

You'll find a few toys, shampoos and other small items but other than that it's large bags of food. It's unusual that 1/2 of one aisle is void of any merchandise at all. You would think after 3 years they would have a full inventory. Only the owner was there on the day I first visited and he wasn't helpful at all. In fact he was moping the whole time and never stopped. When trying to talk to him he was oddly nervous. I'll return though because after I left I learned they were taking pet food donations for the hurricane Michael victims and when you donate they will give you a small free gift.

I had a negative experience at this store regarding a transaction. I purchased worms for my pet,…read morewhich totaled $5.36. I paid with a $10.00 bill and was supposed to receive $4.64 in change. However, the store clerk informed me that she did not have the $0.04 to return. Although the amount may seem small, the principle of the situation is significant. If I had not had other commitments that day, I would have considered leaving the worms at the store and requesting a full refund or even protesting for the $0.04. It may sound petty to argue over such a small amount, but I believe that if I had underpaid for the product, I would not have been allowed to complete the purchase. This experience left me feeling dissatisfied with the service I received.

While she walked down one of the isles she could hear the dog yelping and crying. She looked over to the window and they had double wrapped the dogs head in a towel. One girl was squeezing the head and mouth while another cut her nails. My grandmother ran over and started knocking on the window telling her to give her the dog back! My grandmother was so nervous and upset she grabbed the dog and left. That night the dog needed to be rushed urgently to a vet. They had broken her jaw and required emergency surgery and had all her teeth pulled. The manager had the nerve to tell my grandmother that the incident occurred at home and not at his store. He asked my grandmother where the dog uses the bathroom, maybe an animal did it to her outside or maybe someone at home abuses her. Chichi (the dog) lives a better life then most humans. She is an inside dog and no one abuses her. We have sent multiple letters to the company and they have been unresponsive. We weren't asking for anything more then they take care of the VET bill since their staff had broken our dogs jaw. The company has been unresponsive. They did however put up a sign stating they no longer take small pets. I am almost sure it is because their staff is poorly trained and abused our dog.

LOL! So I called Petco around 9:30 AM. They took my number and let me know they'd call me back since they had dogs on the table. Honestly, I wasn't expecting such a quick response, but they returned my call within 15 minutes, which I really appreciated. The person I spoke with was very friendly, and I was able to secure a same day appointment for 12 PM. The only requirement was proof of rabies vaccination. When I arrived, I checked in at the desk and the groomer came out within two minutes. She was warm, welcoming, and super friendly. I immediately felt comfortable leaving the puppy in her care. She clearly explained what the sanitary trim would include and completed the service in about 5-7 minutes. Such a quick turnaround! The cost was only $10.99, which honestly surprised me because I expected to pay more. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and had no complaints. While waiting, I walked around the store. It's big, clean, and well organized. They share a plaza with Kohl's (with Sephora inside) and Ashley Furniture, and there's plenty of parking available. I would definitely use their grooming services again.
