The cake was INCREDIBLE OVERPRICED! Well over $230 and thats for the smallest size (6 inch). On pickup today, i was so unhappy. It looked like a shein/temu version of what i had hoped for. Cheap decorative toppings. The girl who was working suggested I put it in the front seat so it wont move around too much. Welp! It DID! The top smashed into the box and the top layer started sliding off the bottom layer! I was angry! Because how does this place charge a lot more than your average shop and not have secure & larger boxes to place the cakes in!!!!! Wal mart could have done a better job for 1/6 of the price!!!! The yellow is what i wanted. The pink is the shein/temu version. Will not be ordering here again not recommending!

There was a family emergency that made it so all plans had to be cancelled and it was already a difficult time due to the emergency. I wanted to get a nice cake from a local bakery to help make up for the cancelled plans, so it can still feel like a birthday. I had tried several other places, but was unsuccessful. I went in to the store (about 10 minutes after closing, which I had no idea until later), explained the situation to the very kind and empathetic worker, and she found a vanilla cake in the back that was exactly perfect. I appreciate that she went above and beyond to try and help, especially because it was after closing and the cake that was provided to me wasn't originally for sale. Thank you so much!

I was running late the day I was to pick it up but he was nonplused and brought everything to the car. It had all been fully chilled so I didn't have to worry about it 'melting' before I got to the party, All the guests were very complimentary about the look and taste of both the cake and the cupcakes. I didn't think about taking pictures until after the party ( oh no!) but Ryan had pictures and graciously shared them with me. I absolutely will order from him in the near future. I sent Amy a description of what I was looking for (including flavor profile and some amazon photos of style - believe it or not - vintage wallpaper samples). At first I was nervous that I couldn't just provide a photo and have her reproduce the exact cake. In the end, this was SO MUCH BETTER! Amy is a consummate professional! Trust her flavor and design instincts. What she produced in the end completely captured not only what I was envisioning but what was truly my daughter's essence. I immediately reached out and she let me know she can definitely make this happen, we messaged back and forth for a few days until I locked in my order on 09/07/2023 at 9:15am. I understand that this was short notice because I did need the cake for 09/11/2023 but she guaranteed it would be available and I sent the payment for $125.00. The morning of my sister was able to go to amber's place of residence to pick up the cake, Amber asked my sister if she was happy with the cake and of course my sister said yes because it was a gift from me to her daughter. My sister sent me pictures of the cake and I was not happy with what it looked like. Amber does have a strict policy which I completely understand (I signed the contract). I reached out to Amber and sent her pictures of the cake to show her that it was damaged without any error on our part (cake was picked up). She proceeded to let me know that she became ill on Thursday 09/07/2023 (when I ordered the cake) and she was unable to make/decorate the cake so she had her "assistant who is still learning" make it. She offered a partial refund of $25 and a discount on a future order or my sister could bring back the cake to her place of residence and I could receive a "full refund" minus the 50% retainer. I opted for the $25 refund because my sister lives 30 minutes away and was having a dinner party for my niece. I understood the terms of the contract but was upset that I didn't have an option prior to receiving the cake. If she would have sent me a message prior I would have definitely understood. A part of me feels she took advantage knowing I was in CA and the person picking up the cake was near her. My sister ending up taking the cake to Fry's so they can write "Virgo szn"on top of the cake and fix the frosting on the side of the cake.
