I'm not sure if it was specifically the flavor I chose or if it's because I'm not really used to vegan baked goods. I can definitely appreciate that they offer options for people who are vegan, have allergies, or have certain dietary restrictions and still want to satisfy their sweet tooth. But for me personally, the taste and quality just didn't justify paying almost $7 for one cupcake. The customer service didn't really help the experience either. Since it was my first time, I asked the girl at the front what their best sellers were and what she recommended. I was genuinely trying to make conversation and get some guidance on what I should try, but she wasn't very helpful or engaging. It honestly felt like I was talking to a wall. Overall, it's a cute spot and I appreciate what they offer for people with dietary restrictions, but between the price, texture, lack of flavor, and customer service, it just wasn't for me.

I wanted to get a nice cake from a local bakery to help make up for the cancelled plans, so it can still feel like a birthday. I had tried several other places, but was unsuccessful. I went in to the store (about 10 minutes after closing, which I had no idea until later), explained the situation to the very kind and empathetic worker, and she found a vanilla cake in the back that was exactly perfect. I appreciate that she went above and beyond to try and help, especially because it was after closing and the cake that was provided to me wasn't originally for sale. Thank you so much!

When I explained to Michelle (the owner) what I needed and showed her a picture of what I wanted to have made, she said she would do a little research and see if she would be able to make the orange blossom flowers to put on my cake pops. She got back to me with in an hour or so and had a plan for making them. She was even able to have them made for me within the timeline I needed. Michelle's communication with me was exceptional and I always felt like she sincerely wanted to help me and provide me with a beautiful product. And they were truly beautiful, delicate little flowers and leaves. They were just what I needed to make my little "cuties" cake pops look adorable. Cakes by Stiggy to the rescue! Jessie was an absolute dream to work with it and she saved the day for me! My daughter lives in Tempe, AZ attending college and the rest of the family is in Louisiana. We needed to send a celebration cake to her and have it delivered with very little notice. I sent a text to Jessie regarding ideas and they took it and ran! I was in constant contact via text. I was informed when they were on the way with the cake and when it was delivered. The cake was so precious and perfect and even had an amazing surprise when my daughter cut it open with 3 layers of bright colors!! We attempted to schedule a custom cake with about a two-week timeframe. After three phone calls and creating an account on the business's website, we never received a response. What was most concerning was that instead of replying to our inquiry or review, the business chose to report the image attached to the review rather than address the issue itself. Communication is essential when booking services, especially for time-sensitive orders. Based on our experience, this is not a business I would recommend. read more

This is the third cake I've had from Cakes by Stiggy and they've all been amazing. This was the first one for my own party and it was a hit. The cake was moist even having some left over a day and two later. The frosting was perfectly balanced. Stiggy was extremely personable. I also had a sugar free buttercream cake made for a friend with diabetes which they loved. This was a wonderful experience from the first interaction to the last bite of cake. read more

Extremely happy with my Gossamer and Marvin the Martian. It was a huge hit at my wife's surprise birthday party. My major requirement was that it looked good and was less worried about how good it tasted. It ended up being one of the best cakes anyone had ever tasted.
