Stopped by Cold Stone and had a really disappointing experience. There were two employees working,…read moreand the place was completely empty--yet every table was dirty, the floors hadn't been cleaned, and even the bathroom was in poor condition. The front counter area also looked like it hadn't been wiped down in quite a while. When I'm paying around $7 for a child's scoop for my grandson, I expect at least a clean and welcoming environment. Unfortunately, this visit didn't meet that basic expectation. I

Brownies, cookie dough, caramel, sprinkles... if it gets within 10 miles of the place, they'll mix it in. Service is Friendly, patient, and steady as a good milking crew at sunrise. Pure ice-cream-joy energy ...kids giggling, adults acting like calves on fresh pasture. Surprisingly spotless for a sprinkle rodeo. Respect! Menu has Enough options to rival a whole herd lineup. 100% Family Friendly, Tiny scoops for the little calves, full-send bowls for the grown cows. Not bargain milk, but premium dairy happiness, worth every spoonful. Bottom line: moo-velous ice cream, barn-strong vibes, and smiles guaranteed. I'll be back for another scoop ....because this is dairyman-approved dessert excellence

I have been there many times, and it is convenient as I work within walking distance of Sparky's. Whenever I am walking along Mill Avenue and am craving some ice cream, Sparky's is one of my main stops in the area. The ice cream is delicious. Some of my favorite flavors are Batter in Bed and Banana Cream Pie. However, I have had just about every flavor that they serve, and all of them are delicious in their own ways. I like the pleasant atmosphere. Nice and low-key place where you can relax and enjoy your ice cream. The general manager, Connor, is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He is always a pleasure to talk to whenever I have some time for a friendly conversation during my lunch break at work. Every time I stop by, he ensures I feel welcome and right at home. Another bonus is that they have a rewards program, which offers five dollars off once you accumulate enough points. I recommend it to anyone in the Downtown Tempe area who is looking for a delicious ice cream treat.

It's a quick stop but they generally help me quickly. I recommend them for any occasion. I've tried coconut and New York cheesecake both are great.

What I like about creamistry is that you can basically make any ice cream base vegan. Since they use the liquid nitrogen thing, you can have ice cream that tastes pretty close to the real thing. Two thumbs up. It's a tiny place with like only 5 tables, but it's cool to watch the liquid nitrogen process, especially for little ones who get excited by the excess gas flowing out and making it seem like they have smoke machines on their ice cream machines. Lots of options for flavors and toppings, so you'll find something for everyone here, including those croffles (waffle ice cream, but I have not tried nor have seen anyone else try). It's a bit pricey, but you pay for the experience. I've paid more for a lot more mediocre ice cream (that wasn't vegan) so ultimately I think this is a good place. TLDR; vegans rejoice--we have ice cream!

They served ice cream that's frozen with liquid nitrogen. I got a regular order of their sea salt caramel crunch. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but salted caramel is one of my favorite flavors. The portion size was just right and it was good!
