My go-to is usually their Black Tiger Sugar with fresh milk. Decided to try their Hawaiian Fruit Tea today and couldn't really taste the tea. I tried Yumi Boba Tea for the first time last weekend and I can definitely say I'll be going back. They have a ton of great looking choices but ultimately I ended up with just the original milk tea and boba. I really want to try the butterfly tea lemonade (pretty sure that was it) next time. I don't usually expect good boba in smaller cities, but Yumi Boba Tea turned out to be much better than expected. We stopped by while visiting a couple units of the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park and got one drink Classic Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba - Half sweet was a good choice as this drink is on the sweeter side. In terms of taste, it was a pretty standard tasting black milk tea, nothing too special. The boba was a smaller variety but it was cooked almost perfectly, with that great qq texture throughout. Big fan. I really don't know what else to add. Their prices are reasonable, the service is good, and every menu item I have tried they have knocked it out of the park. Service is usually quick but depending on the time of day they can get pretty busy. Definitely recommend placing your order ahead of time to avoid the wait. They don't get the full 5 stars because their brewed tea selection is limited compared to other bubble tea places I've been to in bigger cities. read more

Such a cute place! I heard about this place a few months ago & I'm glad to see them finally open! It's very roomy & there's not only milk tea but food as well (ex: banh mi, shrimp, etc). I was excited to see this set up and menu were comparable to boba places I've been to in bigger cities. We ordered online and even though we came in 5 minutes past when they estimated the order would be ready we still waited another 15 minutes because it appeared they hadn't started the order. Another online customer had to wait while we were there. There were lots of people busy behind the counter so I'm sure it's something that will get ironed out the longer they are open. I love that they have multiple sugar level choices, I prefer mine at 25%. I tried the cheese foam over one of my favorite combinations, matcha milk with coffee jelly (I usually get regular boba too but must have forgot to check it). It was so rich and filling! A delicious treat but I don't think I'll order the cheese foam on the regular. I'm still full an hour later! The other drinks we got were also delicious and I look forward to trying their savory snacks next visit. read more

I don't go anywhere else for boba, it's really enjoyable. I've been coming here for over a year, and always get the Tiger Sugar. It's a little pricey for my taste but always worth it. I will say it can be a little loud inside and sometimes the staff couldn't seem to care less about getting your order. It's sort of a toss up as to whether the person at the register will be loud enough to hear and will ask questions so you can get your drink the way you like it (ice level, sweetness level, etc.). Visited Yumi for the first time today and had a great experience! The place is very cute - lots of windows and natural light - and they have an adorable backdrop for pictures. I got a taro milk tea with boba pearls and French fries and both were delicious. The boba pearls were perfectly soft and chewy; not harder Iike I have had at some other places. The taro is also flavorful. I appreciate Yumi employees ask about ice and sugar level with every order since sometimes I forget I like less of each.
