She was so kind, joyful, and excited I was there (which is always a good sign)! I got a cookie dough cupcake and a chocolate chip cookie and both were SO good. My friend and I came here wanting something sweet after dinner. When we arrived, I wasn't sure if I wanted to purchase anymore. The counter guy was all over the place, definitely more focused of the two regulars hanging out in the corner. The cupcakes were all just plain flavors like vanilla only with different flavors of buttercream icing on top. There were some cut pies and whole ones, so my friend tried order a slice or two, and after waiting 5 minutes was told they are only sold whole. So when asked, she requested the last banana pudding and that took over 5 minutes of being ignored, and then asked had we decided. At this point, i was annoyed. After she took it home, she said it was okay. I really wanted to like this place, maybe I'll try again some other time. read more

I went last year to try to bring a personal pan of banana pudding to a party. Sadly they didn't have any left and told me to call ahead of time next time. I was disappointed but it made me want to try out the pudding even more. Flash forward to today, I finally went to get a cup of banana pudding. And wow!! Best banana pudding I've had, so it's worth the hype. No seating, small shop but love how everything is laid out in the open. Nice service, will be coming back and bringing friends. read more

We stopped by this small but delightful neighborhood bake shop. What attracted us to the spot was the sight of the owner operator meticulously and tirelessly assembling some of the cutest cupcakes you'll ever see. She was a pleasure to talk to and actually stopped what she was doing to walk us through the various offerings. Ultimately we went with the s'more cupcake because why not? The cupcake was velvety and moist with what you could tell was freshly made airy frosting. The ratio of marshmallows to chocolate was perfect. These cupcakes are so amazing. I was working on a project where I needed to taste a LOT of cupcakes ( tough job lol), and Melissa's cupcakes were far superior to anything else I tasted. Her buttercream is buttery smooth and light, and her vanilla cake is perfection, with spot-on vanilla taste. Melissa did a custom order for us and she put everything she had into getting it right. She understood our needs, was incredibly cooperative in a tough situation, and went the distance for us. In other words, Melissa really CARES about what she does. I did not taste her other fare (banana pudding, pies, etc.), but my colleague couldn't get enough of it, lol. The shop is cute and cosy so you just might miss it if you blink, but DON'T MISS IT. The owner Melissa is super sweet, she has been baking and selling her creations online for some time but opened this first brick-and-mortar shop late last year. I saw the tiktok video made by the owner and immediately added this place to my must try list. So happy I did! The cupcakes I got were AMAZING. They were light, buttery, soooo soft, and not too sweet (even the cream topping). I can not even stress how much I was impressed with the cupcakes. I went about 45 mins before they closed and was not expecting the quality to be that fresh as if they just made them for me! I am absolutely not a matcha person but the team there talked me into trying the vanilla matcha cupcake and omg! Yes, yes, get the cupcake! It was sooo good. None of the overwhelming bitter flavors you normally get with matcha. This is not a trick to secretly make you try grass, I swear, get the matcha strawberry or vanilla cupcakes, they were both excellent. And to the star of the show....the banana pudding. I got it after another customer in the shop said it was really good. I ordered a tray so that I could share with my family. That was a big mistake. I want to preface this by saying I've had Magnolia's banana pudding and was so disappointed. It was not worth the hype in my opinion so I was skeptical about this one. When I got back to the car, I decided to try the banana pudding before going to my mum's house and regretted it. It was soooo good, I was questioning why I had agreed to share; why had I stupidly already told them I was bringing it. I was strongly considering telling them that they had to go get their own. One bite turned into me taking more bites to "even it out" and before I knew it, a third of the tray was gone. I didn't even realize I was eating a lot because like the cupcakes, the banana pudding is so light and flavorful and never got to the point of giving me that sticky sweet feeling when you eat too much sugary stuff. I don't know what they put in their recipes here but like the matcha, I don't even like bananas that much and now I'm stressed that this review will have people buying all of it and there won't be any left for me Please go support.....but also like save me some... read more

When I met Melissa, she was super sweet and super invested on making sure her desserts were passed customer standards. I had gotten the banana pudding and it was AMAZING, it wasn't too sweet and was very subtle, i was able to finish the plate so fast bc of how good and light it was. The shop has a nice vibe and aesthetic as well, it being an open kitchen lets you see how everything is made and ur also able to see how passionate melissa is in her workspace making it feel like an interactive experience. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND and will be back 10/10. read more
