I think the food is great, I've been getting take out there for years. Quality is very consistent, always on time and the portions are good for two meals. I only order from the dinner menu I have never had the lunch menu which I would assume is the same but the portions are smaller? The takeout is packaged extremely well. I can't speak about the whole menu because I usually order beef and mixed vegetables, hot and sour soup, moo shu chicken. I cannot think of one thing to complain about. If you are looking for good, quick American-style Chinese take out, this IS for you. If you are looking for an upscale, homemade-style Chinese, this is NOT for you. The prices are reasonable, the food is good, and the portion sizes are great. The owner is also a very kind person, and will always greet your warmly and remembers you. I highly recommend their Garlic Chicken, and especially their Sweet and Sour Chicken--the chicken they use is phenomenal and crispy, and their sauce is excellent. I came here with my family as we were driving from Philadelphia. I was highly disappointed with our dinner after reading the reviews. The hot and sour soup was so-so. The moo shu pork was so sweet from the housin, that it was almost inedible. Also, I have never seen moo shu served with tortillas. The beef and broccoli sauce had way too much corn starch and the sauce was too thick. The chicken fried rice had chicken that was overcooked. Good food but be aware of the "round-ups" they add to your bill. The tax was rounded-up and a 15% tip was added for dine-in. We ALWAYS leave at least a 20% tip but I wasn't expecting it to be added to the bill and rounded- up as well. Not sure if I will return. read more

Their menu states that they accept major credit cards for minimum orders of $10. When we picked up our order (for about $30), we were told that they do not accept credit cards unless the order is at least $50. We were lucky that we had enough cash with us. We thought that perhaps we had an outdated menu. When we opened the bag with our order, the menu they tucked into the bag states the same thing. read more

The portions are pretty big, the price can't be beat, and the place is clean from what I can tell. The family that owns this restaurant is very nice and has never been rude. This place is famous for their "10 minute" wait time around where I live. I have never called to order and been told anything besides 10 minutes. Normally the food is ready before 10 is up. I have lived in Rostraver for 7 years and just tried Yummy last night. It's much better than Little Bamboo although it's not really meant for dining in. Had the Mongolian Beef which I thought was better than PF Changs and the hot and sour soup was amazing! We also had the spring rolls which tasted fresh not frozen and the spare ribs which were the best I have had! The general tsos shrimp is made tempura style which I am not a fan of but my husband likes. Would highly recommend for take out! read more

The meal that I ordered was the worst Chinese meal I have ever ate. I ordered the chicken and broccoli quart, a house fried rice, and 2 spring rolls. 1. The house fried rice had what appeared to be shrimp, pork, chicken, and beef. I have no idea what creatures life was taken to use as a substitute but it was awful. The chicken or what I presumed was chicken looked like grey strips of tendons that were not able to be cut with a knife or fork, the pork which is typically a reddish brown, was small chunks of flourescent pink, the shrimp was not cooked at all and smelled of an unsanatized seafood boat, and the beef, well, wasn't in there. Know let's get to the vegetables in the rice. Whatever vegetables were on there had such an odor, that it caused dry heaving, and the onion ends were inside and cooked with the rice, which was a giant blob of military grade not for human consumption rice. Completely disgusting. Now onto the chicken and broccoli. I have ate this dish from chinese restaurants my entire adult life. Normally the chicken is thinly sliced pieces of chicken in the brown sauce with broccoli. Thus chicken smelled of fecal matter, along with the broccoli, and the broccoli had to have been rotting away for sometime, or was reused from other plates. The chicken was so rubbery it could not be cut, and needless to say, was unattainable to eat. I'm not even getting into the spring rolls, that had uncooked brown colored shrimp with wilted cabbage. I hope no one has an experience like this. Sad to say, I had ate there in the past and the food passed as edible, however, it no longer will be purchased by me or my family, completely awful. Oh forgot to mention it take 10 minute and 50.00 dollars for this garbage. P.s. the food items were obviously thrown away, and wrapped in paper bags and then a garbage bag, and it still smelled from outside of my closed garbage can with the lid on it. Most horrible service I've ever received today. I ordered two orders of general tso chicken take out ,got home to eat the food and it was not cooked all the way through. I called the restaurant Only to have the owner scream at me on the phone and tell me there's no way that it happened and hung up on me. Horrible customer service as she would not even let me speak. Yummy is so good!! We live nearby therefore we frequently order takeout. Everything we've gotten has been great. Their homemade duck sauce and garlic sauce are outstanding! My favorite is General Tso Chicken, white meat, fried and crispy. So delish! My son loves the fried rice and crispy chips. Hubby likes beef and broccoli. The place is very clean and service is great! This business came here when I was a kid, maybe 10-15 years ago. The lady who runs it has always been here. She's a really nice lady, and every single order since she opened is "10 minutes" as she says on the phone. They're fast, reliable, and always a great place to eat. Prices are reasonable. Food is good. I personally think she has the best food in the area until you get to about Monroeville. It's very similar to Panda Express, not too greasy, not too sweet, not too spicy. Many other American Chinese restaurants taste like deep-fried junk chicken with low-quality rice and goopy syrup-y sauce. Not here. The consistency of all the food is great. I recommend Kung Pao or Sesame Chicken. General Tso's is good too. Sesame noodles are great. Try their mustard in the fridge (not the packet stuff). Many other things are good on the menu though. My only wish is that she would make a few more authentic Chinese dishes. She's been there so long, updating the menu a little bit wouldn't be terrible. But I guess, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. read more

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant! Everyone is so friendly and very welcoming! My 2 year old son loves it here and definitely loves the attention he gets. The owner comes over and talks to him giving him chocolate and lollipops after he's done eating. The food is amazing and cooked within minutes. Always delicious and hot when coming out. My favorite is chicken fried rice... I have never had chicken fried rice so amazing before I get it every time I come. When the owner comes to the table she already knows my order lol. Yummy Yummy is by far the best chinese restaurant that I have eaten at. The place is clean, the portions are big and the food is deeeee-licious! I usually get Szchezuan beef (probably not spelled right) and its sooo good. I usually have enough for the next day too. The prices are reasonable and the lady at the front counter is always nice, even when they are super busy. They let you adjust the spiciness which is nice since i like mine a little on the spicier side. I would recommend this place to anyone that likes chinese food. read more
