First impression after Trying this restaurant today and the food is good. Ordered chicken wings with pork fried rice. I asked for scallions they didn't have any. Rice was still flavorful. Only thing I could ask is that the pork chucks be a little smaller and more frequent in the rice. Chicken wings were crispy as requested, seasoned well with a hint of sweetness. My wife's review: "This is just what you hope for with Chinese delivery. We had an overnight stay near the airport in Philly, and called for delivery to our hotel. Service was pretty quick for a Friday night (45 minutes). Everything was packaged well which is appreciated...nothing worse than a dripping bag. "House Special Fried Rice, Won Ton soup, egg rolls, pan fried dumplings, and moo shu pork. Portion sizes were generous for the price, which was $33 with delivery and tip. "All was hot and delicious. Egg rolls still crispy, pancakes for moo shu pork still steamy and soft. Dumplings were definitely homemade, not the frozen crescent shaped ones. Plenty of condiments were included. Ordered with several people in my office. Took about 45 mins for delivery which was good. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was nice and hot. I had the General Tso's chicken w fried rice and it was just right flavor wise. I'll have to tell them to kick it up a notch with the spice next time. I'll def repeat. read more

We ordered pick up from here because it was close to our hotel. Reviews seemed decent so we thought we would give it a shot. We thought the food was so-so. Not the best Chinese we have had but not bad either. The spot is a very small, so don't plan to dine in. Staff was friendly and helpful. Probably won't ever be back to the area but it served it purpose for us tonight. Prices were very reasonable and portions were large. We have lots of leftovers but nowhere to put them! read more

Do Not use your card here!!! They will steal your information! They stole 700$ out of my account! They ran the card at the stole to see if it went through. Then went shopping online.. before I Started ordering here I was reAding reviews on them.. well one of the reviews said that after she went here someone spent aLmost 1000 on Nike.com.. I didn't pay no mind to it.. I thought it was just someone crazy customer making stuff up.. well FAst Forward 6 months and it's happened to me! My roommate and I were craving Chinese cuisine, so we took an Uber ride to this joint. We should have ordered delivery instead since this eatery only has a couple of tables and chairs. I was visiting from out of town and wanted Chinese food but needed a place that offered delivery. I came across this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered shrimp egg foo young and egg rolls. The food was extremely delicious. The egg foo young was prepared the way I remember having it as a child and like. The egg patties tasted freshly prepared and weren't greasy or laden with seasonings. The gravy had a rich homemade flavor. The egg rolls were crispy and chewy with shrimp that you could see in them. Whenever we are back in the are I'm definitely ordering food again! read more

I just ordered the orange chicken & shrimp fried rice from this place & I got fried batter & rice the rice was good but they gave me very little, I called to inform the manager & he refused to send me what I paid for but told me to bring it back there when they delivered it I informed him 5 times that's I'm visiting & I don't have a ride to come up there I'm not from here & if he was not willing to bring me anything else could he refund me a partial of the $18 I paid he said no, I will never go back again & I won't tell anyone about this place VERY VERY VERY POOR customer service to a visitor from another state!!!!!! The food is good but tonight I was charged a 20% tip with out my authorization. Don't get me wrong if I got it delivered I would tip but I picked up my food and was charged the tip after I left. I have the receipt for what I authorized but my bank was charged 15.36 more. I call the manager who tells me it will be back in my bank in 2-3 days. Hmmm. How does he know who I even am. Thievery to a customer who used to spend a lot of money there at least twice a week. read more

No Restroom. There is an extra charge for credit/debt card usage if not spending $10. Pleasant staff. Excellent Crab Rangoon. I liked the Triple Sha Cha. It has a mild spicy brown sauce. The food raised what would have been a 2 star with average food to 4 stars because the food was good. read more

****AVOID***** To preface this, there is minor snow on the ground, Folcroft is approximately 2 miles from our location and the roads are clear. We ordered our food at 5:30, it did not arrive until 7:45. Granted we were advised of an initial 45 min wait, which is typical for a Friday night. We also called at 7:15 and were told the food was on it's way. When the food arrived the food was luke warm at best and it was the incorrect order. Though warm it was decent, but there are other places that are much better. This was our first time ordering from this establishment. We will not be doing so again and would not advise others to order from there either. read more

I was only in town for a night and I ordered delivery, the phone call to order was a little more tedious then it should of been with all the questions but I guess that's the price of quality. i ordered dumplings and chicken "chow fun" . i eat chow fun from ALL over the place, like different states. none like this. They use thin noodles and they DONT use brown sauce. If you use different noodles and different sauce how can you call it the same dish? doesn't taste or look the same. I could deal with a mistake in my meal BUT the customer service?! i called and she rudely tells me "this is how we make it. i wont make you another dish. blah blah blah" after i tell her i don't want a refund just another dish she yells "NO we won't make another dish" she told me they make chow fun different than other places WHY wouldn't she tell me that when i ordered? & there was a hair in my food. but by that time i had already hung up. read more

This has become my favorite chinese food place to order from. They offer chicken wings with General Tso's sauce and a side of fried rice or pork lo mein.. a nice change from a buffalo wing. They were outstanding. Portions were quite generous. The vegetable lo mein was so good, I ate the whole lunch ! No leftovers. This was the first time I have ever finished the entire portion of food from a chinese takeout. it was that good. My Co-workers had the beef egg foo yong and the mushroom egg foo yong and both raved about their meals. Delivery was fast and food has been exactly what we ordered. This place has some great food. And some great deals with the family deal. The food is top notch and is ready in a a reasonable amount of time. The wonton is one of the best I have had since 7 stars in Sharon Hill in the 90s. We have had a good amount of food off the menu and and I have yet to be truly disappointed. I'm not entirely sure how this place was overlooked by myself and my family for six years, but Hong Kong checks all the right boxes, and now that I know it's there, tucked away in a faded and overgrown strip mall on Chester Pike, it will be in heavy rotation. The secret to corner store Chinese food isn't a heavy variety, volume of food, or even that the staff is friendly. All that helps, but the real value and charm from places like these comes from the core selection of dishes that they do, they execute perfectly; full of flavor, served piping hot, at a great price, time after time, at a wide range of hours during the day. Deciding to go with lunch specials, which were very reasonable, each comes with a soup and a pretty hefty portion of your choice of dish, served with either pork fried rice or pork loin mein. My wife went with her staple test meal of General Tzo's chicken and Wonton Soup. She said both impressed, and while I enjoy those, they're not my go-to. However, they were delicious. I instead chose the Szechuan Chicken with lo mein and also the egg drop soup. This is where I knew I had finally found the place that we had been searching for, for so long. The egg drop soup is perfect....and I mean perfect. It is delicious, with great consistency, and at the same time, is no frills, and you can see that it is clearly made by hand. Nothing from a bag here! The only reason Hong Kong has lost a star is because what I received was definitely what I would have called Hunan chicken. Finished in a spicy brown sauce, rather than a traditional red pepper Szechuan sauce, it was still absolutely delicious and hot, perfectly cooked with a great ratio of chicken to vegetables! If you are in the area, especially if you live nearby, do not skip on Hong Kong Chinese. It may not look like much. You may not be greeted on the phone that well, and I'm pretty sure you have to pay in cash. But sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for and what you want when all you really need is perfectly prepared quick Chinese for a great price that will make your stomach happy and make you smile with satisfaction.
