    Spicy Tuna Bibimbap

I stopped by Yumsem Eats four since they first opened in August 20205. By September the foot traffic has doubled since then. The ambiance is cozy with wooden chairs, and there's even a section with books if you want to stay longer. They share the place with CM Korean friend chicken (it's towards the back) Very affordable and every time I've visited I ordered the following items: - spicy tuna kimbap $8 - spicy mayo bimbap $11 - chicken bimbap $12 I have yet to try their boba teas or ramen noodles. I think I noticed that the noodles aren't made in-house, but rather packaged noodles that you boil and can add toppings to. Overall a cozy spot to grab lunch on the go or stay.

Stopped by for a concert and decided to grab a quick bite. Originally my group was going to grab pizza but we came across this place after a wrong turn and we do not regret stopping. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion was perfect for the price. Personally I would've preferred a bit more beef bulgogi in mine however, that was on me for not asking for more protein (yes you can do that I believe there's a slight up charge) My friend got the chicken and beef bulgogi version of the bibimbap and she thought it was the perfect amount of protein to veggies/carbs. One thing I will comment on is that the reason we decided to pull over was because we saw on the window "Korean fried chicken" which we were really excited to try however they didn't have any at the time as they were not yet serving it. Totally fine though the bibimbap was a perfect replacement. The service was relatively quick but you can tell it seems to be a new place that's still in the training process. In addition to it seeming to be new the restaurant itself was spotless and so were the bathrooms. 100% recommend

One of the worst delivery experiences I've had. Ordered through DoorDash and the order sat in "preparing" for an extremely long time with repeated ETA delays. There was no meaningful communication, no accurate timing, and no sense that delivery orders were being handled with any priority at all. Delivery orders appear to be treated as low priority. Weather conditions were used as an excuse, but the real issue was clearly poor order management and lack of transparency. If a restaurant cannot handle delivery orders in a timely or honest manner, they should not accept them in the first place. This was not a minor delay -- it was a prolonged, frustrating experience that wasted a significant amount of time. Based on this experience, I would strongly discourage anyone from ordering delivery here. Possibly fine for dine-in or pickup, but delivery customers should expect delays and poor handling. What's especially frustrating is that the restaurant appeared to know they could not complete the delivery, yet continued to delay instead of canceling promptly. This resulted in wasted time, cold food, and a forced cancellation well after the expected delivery window -- a completely avoidable outcome with honest communication.

I've had their food quite a bit and it is always fresh and delicious. Always good customer service and positive vibes. The area is very spacious which would be good for dates and quick meal without breaking the bank!

I come across this "Health Food Herb Center" touting "meatless deli" to which I respond with a dash to the door. Upon walking in to this mysteriously [almost] meatless grocer/deli, I am in awe of their grocery options. Frozen mock meats (yes, an entire Thanksgiving faux turkey!), herbs/spices, cookies, teas, pastas, all sorts of incredible things! Then I get back to the deli counter, I was a little confused at first because there was some standard Boars Head fair. BUT ALAS, up in the top left corner, large deli-style loaves (I don't think that's what they're called but I'm going with it) or turkey, corned beef and salami. I opted for the salami, the lovely lady behind the counter let my try it first and my mouth erupted with salty, smokey flavor close enough to meet that I was beyond satisfied but not too close that I was hesitant. She LOADED my wrap with salami, carrots, onion, beets (shredded, she promised I wouldn't be able to taste them and she was not wrong), cabbage, vegenaise, oregano and cayenne pepper. There are very few things within the vegan spectrum that I salivate over, this was within the top 10. I grab a handful - okay 9 - of the various cookies and am on my way back to the office. Unwrapping this masterpiece had me as giddy as Jim Gaffigan when he eats bacon, there is some hardcore food envy from my non-vegan desk neighbors. The wrap was full of fresh, vibrant flavors, I could not be more thankful that this gem exists. These guys will make me look forward to coming to this office every single time now.

What I don't recommend is that you ignore this advice and allow your security to be dressed in shades, black skinny jeans, a black hoody, and a black medical mask while they stalk your customers. I couldn't tell if this was some guy trying to take my phone and run for it, or if he was trying to hack into my shopping cards with an RFID reader (yes, thieves do that), or if he was an ICE officer trying to profile me while being undercover or what. It was so obvious. He passed me like around a dozen times while I'm trying to figure out what to get, mind my business and shop around. After confronting him directly to try and see why he was following me, he decided to get snarky. Couldn't even answer me when I asked him if he was a security officer or what. Had it been someone with less patience, he probably would have gotten punched in the teeth (seriously, some people are crazy like that). He could have been professional and identify himself, but he chose not to be. He also continued to follow me. It really killed my mood, so I stopped shopping and left. I'll spend my money somewhere else.
