This place was crazy busy the day I stopped. I ordered a large wonton soup and a combo meal of chicken and broccoli. It seems like one of those Chinese places that used to be a nice restaurant before Covid and now they just do quick service takeout... which is fine.. the seating is just for waiting on the food to be cooked. The price is a bit high for a combo meal you can get for $8-9 elsewhere.. and the sauce on the chicken and broccoli was not as expected. Usually it's a brown sauce but this one it was the moo goo gai pan sauce, the clear kind. The soup and combo both lacked a bit of flavor, I think it could be done much better. So disappointed Had a craving for Chinese food. Went there and was able to eat in. Mostly take out. My friend ordered Sweet and Sour Pork. No sauce I until he stopped eating because it was tasteless then at end she brings out red sauce. Fried rice was bland with nothing in it ! My won ton soup was also tasteless and I asked for shrimp chips and a whole back was thrown at me that I had to pay for. The broth tasted like water. This was our 2nd visit , first time I ordered chicken fried rice absolutely NO ONIONS because of food allergies but they added them any way, I ordered this on line. I gave them the benefit of a doubt and ordered this again but in person, I told the girl NO ONIONS I am allergic to them. The girl repeated it back no onions I said that is correct. Took it home opened it and what did find tons of onions an no signs of chicken!! Next time I will do better at McDonald's, I will never go here again if I want it I will drive out to China Mountain in Willowick at least there it is better, they get it right every time and less money!!! read more

Very plain and unappealing. Fried rice has no vegetables in it. Was not a fan. The fried food is breaded so much it kinda made it hard to eat. Sweet and sour chicken was more like bread balls. The breading was ten times the size of the pieces of chicken inside it. I paid almost $9 for a cup of fried rice, egg roll, and what was about 1/3 a chicken breast. This review is on one menu item. Keep that in mind. But this place doesn't hold up to my expectations. I get much better from Chinese places within 15 minutes from here. Maybe the other menu items are great. Stopped in here with my daughter for a quick lunch. She loves Chinese; me, not so much. The greeter/server tried hard to steer us to the buffet but we declined as the food looked as if it had been sitting around a long time. That should have been my first clue. I ordered egg foo young and my daughter ordered sweet and sour chicken. Thank goodness we only got the lunch portions. The food tasted freezer burned (how can you mess up pork fried rice and egg rolls?). It was super cheap looking and tasting as if I had bought it at Save-a-lot and heated it up in the microwave. Gross! Actually, that's an insult to Save-a-lot. Also, the server spent 10 minutes loudly telling another customer why his tip should be at least $5 even if the guy only had a cup of coffee. As a former server, that is a Cardinal sin. He was also annoying and asked my teenage daughter her name and what school she went to. Weird. The whole experience was just BAD. This place is a great example of why I dislike Chinese food. No consistency. Blah!!!! read more

Excellent lunch buffet during the week. General Cho's is the best, lo mein, crab rangoons, soup, chicken with broccoli are some of the buffet items. The owners are super nice and friendly. We visit there several times per month!! read more

I came here for the lunch buffet while traveling, and it was excellent. I love smaller Chinese buffets for the main reason why I loved this one; all the food was fresh. As soon as an item looked low they would quickly refresh it. They have basic Chinese options to satisfy your craving. I would reccomend. read more
