Service great, prices very good. Spicy Thai wings for appetizer very good (but not that very spicy!). Thai fried rice and wok meals were delicious, plentiful (with leftovers!). I heard goods things about the food here so my daughter and have it a try. I ordered the shrimp , scallops and squid drunken noodles. I can't not describe what the presented me with. The dish had 2 tiny pieces of scallops that were as small as a baby's fingernail and 1 tiny pieces of squid that tasted like foam. The taste was awful!!' They took the plate back and only had shrimp in it. When I got the bill, they charged me extra $5 saying that they gave me extra shrimp. I said I never asked for extra shrimp. They said well then we will give you 10% off the bill. I no. I just didn't tip!! What a horrible experience. This place is nasty. The service was just as bad. read more

We aren't local and were looking for something we can't get at home and gave this a try. Extremely happy we did! Had the green curry added eggplant and the drunken noodles and the flavors were sublime. Got the curry level two and had authentic heat, only go higher if you are familiar with their heat and enjoy it hot. I was surprised and happy that they have a vegan menu as I prefer to eat vegetarian when I have the option and I was not disappointed. My dining partner had the shrimp drunken pad Thai and said the shrimp were fresh and cooked appropriately. They were making noodles while I was there so at least some of their noodles are home made. My wife and I went here for dinner yesterday. What a wonderful surprise this turned out to be. Let me start out by saying that the service was great. This is an intimate dining experience that also does take out and delivery. My wife had the peanut noodle dinner with shrimp. My wife ordered it mild in heat, but you could ramp up the heat to suit your taste. She absolutely loved this dish. I had the PHO noodle soup with crispy duck. This dish was so flavorful it was ridiculous. I had the heat sauces served on the side so I could use as as much I wanted to ramp up the heat. I would recommend this PHO to anyone, it was delish. The portions are huge, my wife and I both took half our dinners home with us. I didn't take any pictures of the food we ordered but I diid take picture of the restaurant. We can't wait to go back. Their food is pretty good. I ordered it for delivery and it arrived relatively quickly and in good shape. Overall, I would recommend their food. But I was surprised that the shrimp arrived with the tails on. No one wants to fish through their red curry or drunken noodles and have to pull off all of the tails. Think of it this way, when you order chicken you expect that they will have removed the feathers. When you order beef, you expect that the fur will have been removed from the carcass. It should be the same with shrimp. No one wants to fish through their entrée and pull off all the tails manually with their hands and get covered in a total mess. So overall, very good food. But a note to the owners: remove the tails from the freaking shrimp before you serve the food to your customers! It's not my job to do your job. read more

A little gem tucked away in an unassuming strip center in Concord Township (near Mentor). Everything we've eaten there has been delicious. The menu offers many vegan options, which are clearly identified (although the restaurant no longer carries the soy chicken mentioned in the menu). I recommend the basil fried rice and the drunken noodles.The service is friendly, fast and accommodating. The dining room is cozy and nicely appointed. I had my eye on this place for awhile before I tried it. I love when a new Thai place opens up in the area! And based off the reviews, I knew I had to make the trip to this little gem ASAP! Thai 999 is a small place putting out big flavor. I was thoroughly impressed that they not only had vegan menu items, but a whole separate menu that's all vegan! I ordered takeout consisting of the vegan Drunken Noodles with tofu and tofu Tom Kha soup. The Drunken Noodles were so delicious and spicy! But a really good kind of spicy, I got it at medium level. Very flavorful and the vegetables were nice and fresh. I do wish the noodles had a bit more sauce on them, though. The Tom Kha was absolutely to die for... it was extremely rich and flavorful. I kinda wanted to pour it on everything and enjoy. I've found that this soup is hard to find in every Thai restaurant, so I now know exactly where I need to go to get my fix. The people were really kind there, especially Arianna who took my order! We laughed about how we had the same name, as it's not super common. I'd definitely say this place is better suited for takeout situations since it's a small space and the atmosphere isn't exactly sit-down restaurant-y. The food stayed nice and hot my whole ride home! I'm a huge fan of Thai foods and can walk to many awesome Thai restaurants from my downtown loft and I do so once a week. When I had an assignment at Thai 999 Express in the Concord Plaza and read the reviews, I was excited to try their foods. Thai 999 Express, is a small takeout place with a couple of 4 top tables and putting out awesome authentic Thai style foods. The spice and sauce profiles are slightly different then the other Thai/Asian style restaurants I frequent. I also understand that the different spice profiles are regional and influenced on the availability of herbs and spices of the season/region. The tasty vegetarian Thai Spring Rolls were crunchy and light served with a sweet & sour sauce. I could of eaten the entire order. I'm a huge fan of duck and I have a duck in my freezer ready for Valentines Day, just saying. So I really enjoyed the Crispy Duck Salad, a mix of sweet, salty, savory and spicy flavors with tender and juicy duck and crunchy skin was delicious and I'll order this again! They also have a nice selection of Duck entrees and look forward to ordering the Red Curry Duck on my next visit. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many Pad Thai options. The smooth and silky glass noodles (woon sen) with strangled egg, bean sprouts, scallions and large shrimp and served with peanuts and lime has become my favorite style of Pad Thai and was outstanding. I'll be comparing woon sen dishes to the other Thai restaurants downtown and get back with ya'll. The mango and sticky rice was sweet, creamy and tangy, the perfect way to end a meal. I highly recommend Thai 999 for authentic Thai cuisine. If I lived in Lake County I would be getting takeout once a week and eating my way thru the menu. read more

I like to think I've had a looottt of pad see ew in my life as it's one of my favorite dishes. I've never seen the dish made with these noodles and as an avid pad Thai hater, I was not a fan. The place has been very hit or miss lately. I've been a regular customer nearly since they opened in their original location a few years ago. Basically since the COVID-19 lockdowns every time I order it's very hit or miss on if my food has no flavor/completely missing the sauce on my noodles or it's perfect and delicious how I expect it. I get the same dish, Pad See Ew, and 3 of the last four times I've ordered it had little to no sauce so it's just super bland and unflavored noodles, chicken, veggies. Tonight bland watery noodles, chicken, over cooked carrots and undercooked broccoli. I couldn't even finish it when I normally eat every bite. I even tried pouring hot sauce on it to give it more flavor but it still wasn't very appetizing. If the owner or manager sees this, please I beg of you, make sure all your cooks are on the same page and not cutting corners just cause you're busy. Improve the quality control and I'll keep coming back. Otherwise I don't know if I can take another sauceless dish and keep giving you my business. read more

Who would think that OUTSTANDING Thai food will be found in a small strip mall in Concord Twp. OH? Well, I'm here to tell you there is such a place. Recently relocated within the plaza, they now offer dine in spots. (Previously only had to tables, more for carry out than dining in.) But what ever manner you choose, you will not be disappointed. Wife ordered the Shrimp Pad Tia and she noted not only was the dish still hot (ordered take out and are 10 minutes away) there was an ample serving of shrimp which she says is not usually the case. I has the shrimp fired rice, and that too was still hot to serve! Kudos for their take out packaging. This was our first time at new location and may dine-in next time we think Thai! We order from this place a lot because it is right around the corner. I am not a fan of Thai food but my husband is, and because this place is so good, I've developed a taste for it. I always order the peanut noodles with chicken which is a dish I have had trouble finding at other Thai places. It's flavorful, not too spicy, and usually the to go order gives me enough for three meals! My husband loves the drunken noodles with beef (which I agree are outstanding), the pad Thai, and the red curry. We get food from here almost once a week! Outstanding customer service! They allowed for changes to a menu item for a picky eater! We ordered all lunch proportions, and one of the meals ended up being prepared as a dinner proportion, but we were still only charged for the lunch proportion. The employee noticed this and made the price correction for us - I hadn't even noticed until she mentioned it. She was very polite and friendly! The food tasted amazing as well! So much flavor!
