BEWARE: You WILL need to leave your debit/credit card info…read morein order to be seen per a policy sheet that says effective February 1, 2023 (even though it's only January 16, 2023). I used to be a happy patient for over 10 years. No outstanding balances, etc. Dr. Bhatt is out of the country. However, her office staff specifically her office manager Colleen was not helpful or compassionate when dealing with my situation. I have been bringing my daughter to Dr. Bhatt for over a decade. I just made this appointment last week to bring her in due to an urgent situation. No one mentioned this policy. I am the type of person who does not carry all of my info around due to identity theft. I bring what I need and I had plenty of cash to take care of what I needed to take care of. However, since I did not have a card handy to give them, which they never asked for when the appointment was made, my daughter was denied service. They were not even trying to work with me by saying will help you out this time, especially since the policy doesn't begin until February 1. They didn't suggest call us back with the info and we will still see her this time. None of that, they said the best that they could do was reschedule the appointment. the office manager also proceeded to push her values off on me and say she doesn't know anybody who doesn't go around with the card. Very horrible customer service. She also proceeded to state that they are not required to inform customers of this via the phone of this new policy when the appointment is made. Shout though to their competitors who do detail everything you need at your appointment. Again please beware.

I came in for consultation on a procedure and was charged for 2 different things. I wasn't in the room for more than 15 minutes of discussion. When the PA came to straighten it out and clearly explain to the secretary what went on, and how to charge, the secretary completely disregarded it and insisted on doing it her way. When I saw the 2 charges, I called them about it, and the secretary responded and refused to correct it. Be really careful because although the professionals are fine here, the secretary is the boss and will dictate everything based on her own unreasonable understanding. Needless to say, I will not be back.

It got so bad that I didn't even feel comfortable leaving my house. I have probably been to every establishment that offers these types of services in the Chicago suburbs. I didn't realize it was such a cut throat industry! I feel like I have been hustled to the extreme! I wish it didn't take me as long as it did to find this establishment. They prioritize results over sales. From the beginning, Rebecca was transparent and felt that it was very important that I understood everything that we were doing, and, why. I'm only half way through my micro needling package! (They offer great deals on packages) My skin looks SO MUCH better and I have hope, again. Thank you, Rebecca!!!!

She is very good at what she does and has great compassion for her patients. Dr. Shirley has been with this practice for a number of years now, and that has been problematic for some people. The practice was started by Dr. Cheuk Yung years ago, and he took on new professionals as the business grew ... this is how Dr. Shirley joined the team. Since that time, I believe the practice has been sold to a corporate group - much like many medical practices have done recently. It used to be called Southwest Dermatology and it is now called Pinnacle dermatology. So what corporate ownership means is that Dr. Shirley is now an employee of that corporate group, and is sometimes subject to that corporate group doing the scheduling and the like. You will still get the safe and sure hands of Dr. Shirley, but may sometimes have to put up with corporate management in scheduling and returning phone calls. Put up with it, as Dr. Shirley is worth the wait.

I had to stop by today with a very painful cyst that I was afraid was infected. The PA I saw actually performed a minor procedure and removed the cyst, which was both gross and pretty cool/interesting. She was super patient with my mild exclamations of pain and pretty gentle during something that wasn't at all fun for anyone. In the end I walked out with a lot less cyst feeling confident I'm not gonna have a big issue with infection and can now follow up with the dermatologist in 9 days (which was the soonest I could get in somewhere more "traditional". Scheduling was easy on the website. They were busy but still got to me in a reasonable amount of time around my scheduled time. The nurses and desk staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing bad at all to say about this location and I'll be back next time I'm sick!

While I was trying to leave I was having trouble with the double doors. One of the employees sees this, but she is too busy exchanging information and flirting with a patient who was also leaving. The two ladies at the front desk were in shock at how blind she was and they decided to nicely speak up for me. Instead of the employee in the doors helping me, she simply steps to the side and finishes her conversation with the patient. I get out of the doors and I see her hug the patient. This was very rude and unprofessional to see and definitely not how I wanted our visit to end.
