Sandra was such an amazing woman. Made me feel comfortable, I felt great. One nail was messed up and I didn't realize until two days later. I called today to complain nicely instead of writing a review, and the manager laughed. She said I should've mentioned something that day, but I didn't feel like going after 2 days noticing. I wanted to be nice & call. She wouldn't give me a discount and said she couldn't do anything. I took pictures of my nail & she wanted to see if my nails were really messed up. I had gone off some recommendations to go here along with a couple other salons in Babylon but I am currently eight months pregnant so I ended up just going to the first one I saw that was recommended, this place exceeded my expectations I have a three-year-old that loves getting pedicures and they actually had a foot spa just her size. Not only was the foot spa her size but they also gave her a little mini massage which she loves because every other salon we have ever been to never gives her a massage and she gets so disappointed because she always sees mommy get a massage when she gets her nails done. After our pedicures my nail tech was Nicole I explained to her that my baby shower is this Sunday and I wanted to do a French tip but with blue instead of white using the SNS powder, she then told me that she's never done it on a client before and if I would like to still do it I then told her I had faith that she knew what she was doing and I allowed her to do it for the first time on me, my nails came out so gorgeous I am extremely happy with the results and I will be going back everybody was so friendly and they accommodated me and my daughter with nothing but the best customer service. read more

I'm so impressed! Inget gel polish often and this is THE BEST gel manicure I've ever had. It wasn't lumpy and bumpy looking on my short nails, it was perfect! A frequent customer that will NEVER go back! I loved this nail salon until today! I went in for my regular powder gel Manicure and pedicure. The lady who did my nails was so rough! I asked for my nails square (like always) they are round!!! She was even rough while painting my nails! And all because they were busy? I understand moving a little faster but to be rough is ridiculous! Next I went for my pedicure, one of the Spanish ladies started, she took my polish off started cutting and filing and then stopped! She stated an appointment came in which I understand completely but she proabably had 10 minutes left on my pedicure seeing how busy it was why couldn't the appointment wait?! I've been going to Yuni for the past 2/3 years and have always LOVED it. When I first moved to Babylon they made me feel so welcome in the salon. Last weekend my mom came to visit and we went to get manicures. We walked in and I thought to myself wow it's not too crowded, great! I asked for two manicures and was told "NO" by the owner. Not can you come back in an hour or so... just NO. I was so offended and embarrassed being that I had brought my mom along. I used to LOVE Yuni nails, me and many of my friends went there and they always did a fantastic job. Until, i went in for a regular fill-in and polish. They sat me with someone i had never been with before, i didnt question it because ive almost never had a bad experiance. I was wrong not to question. Through out the process the nail tech REFUSED to listen to me, everytime id ask for something she would reply with "i know" and patronizingly stroke my hand. I always get beautiful long stiletos and i walked out that day with short, stubby points that were bubbled beyond belief, i had 3 cuts on my cuticles from her slipping with the drill, the color was not what i had asked for, neither were embelishments (I asked for small black gems in a single line down one nail, i recieved a cluster of gems all over 3 diffrent nails. this was after being told by my nail tech that they didnt have gems, while the woman next to me was having them put on). AND I PAID $70 FOR IT. which is far above what any fill in should have been much less the horror show she put on my nails. This one experiance has been enough to scare me away from Yuni nails forever. i dont doubt the compitence of Nicole or Christina, but i WOULD NEVER trust anyone else in that shop to touch me after the experiance i had. read more

I was having powder gel done. In the middle of my session the woman left me and started working in someone else for 20 min. I complained and someone different came over to try and finish but couldn't because she had no experience with the gel. I find it rude what they did leaving me in the middle of a gel manicure and working On Someone else. I was in there a good 1 1/2 hours. read more

I gave this one star because I could not submit a review with a zero star rating. I made an appointment for myself and my two young daughters. We easily got a parking spot but it took five minutes to cross the street. Upon entering I told one of the technicians that I had an appointment and she told us to pick out nail polish. We selected our polish and waited to be called. About ten minutes passed and the manager came over and told me that it would be a half hour wait. I advised her that we had appointments and she looked at the clock and told us we were late. I advised her that we were not late but rather had been waiting for service. She responded that we were late and we would now have to wait a half hour. She then began speaking in Mandarin to a technician saying, "This woman thinks she's special so we'll make her wait longer." I advised her that I understood what she had said and that she was extremely rude and we would be leaving and not returning. Horrible! We then turned north on Deer Park Ave and found You and I Nails (right before Lo-man). They were wonderful and very accommodating. They treated my daughters like princesses and did a fabulous job on my nails! This salon isn't as "high end" looking as the other but looks definitely are deceiving! read more

I Accidentally walked into the wrong nail salon! There are several nail salons in the same area. I was welcomed so beautifully that I decided to stay and I have been going ever since. The service is excellent! The salon is clean and the staff are truly pleasant. The prices are fair too. The complementary massages are always awesome. The staff never seem rushed. I love getting designs on my nails and I am never disappointed with my UV gel manicures. I typically do not write reviews but this salon absolutely deserves kudos for their customer service. The music playing is so relaxing and spa like. Grade A+ read more
