Second time coming here. First time was about a year ago. My manicurist started to make negative comments about my nails. I remember leaving super upset. She didn't get to take off the nail polish I had on. Today is my second time coming here, hoping for a better experience. Since the place I usually go to was booked for the day. $43 for a powder gel manicure and I needed a tip on one of my nails. The nail tip was 5$. I asked her if she can add glitter and little diamonds. She said they don't do that. So if I'm going to pay over $50 for nails I would want them to come out the way I want. I asked her how much would it be to just take the nail polish off she said 10$. I said okay I'll just get that done. She keeps insisting I should get everything done I told her no it's fine. If I could leave zero reviews I would. The absolute worst gel manicure I've ever had in my adulthood. I'm not a picky person, she literally was filing my nails so hard she cut me twice with a NAIL FILE. The first time I pulled back out of reaction and she grabbed my hand and pulled my finger back in. I tried to say wait you cut me and didn't have a chance before she reached for my finger began to file and then cut me again. After literally leaking onto the paper towel, she proceeded to cut me again on the next finger with the same nail file. If the manicure was decent I would've written it off as an off chance experience but how many times are you going to cut someone ? With a nail file nonetheless. She filed my nails so hard that even after the top coat was done I can still see all of the lines from the file. Literally the worst experience I've ever had and am so upset I even paid $43. Staff was friendly. I had my nails done by Jane. There was no wait time on a Sunday at 11am which was nice. However they are easily distracted. The location is small. Everything seems very outdated. The tools don't look very sterile either. They have very little gel colors/brands available. Granted my nails came out nice, but that was it. My experience was just ok. I have been going to the salon for over five years. Last night I received a call from the owner, Christine. She asked me if I was dissatisfied with my pedicure because Maria said I did not tip her. I was extremely embarrassed. I may not tip the owner, who does my nails, because the owner is getting a percentage of what the others are making. But I always tip anybody else in the salon. Maria said she did not get the $5 that I specifically handed to her, and saw her put it in her pocket. Today when I walked in to get my nail fixed, the owner and the others were very curt to me. Got a new set of acrylics done here for $45. It is not a few days later and ALL of my nails are lifting. The way the acrylic was laid down is absolutely horrendous as well. I should've got up and walked out as soon as I saw how they were going to lay that acrylic down, but I was nice and sat through the entire process hoping it would get better. Never again. first time coming here and it will be the last time i swear angela did my pedicure and it was by far the worst from the worst she didn't scurb under my foot at all and when it came to the painting of my nails ‍‍‍ i'm like what is this the clear polishing was dripping from one side the one toes was missing some the nails didn't look evenly painted at all and and she saw that i was getting upset n says i will fix it only to put another top polish and the top polish starts to wrinkle up smfh she says she will fix it and takes off only the big toe i said no take everything off and get someone else well someone else wasn't any better they need new new workers and new nail polish i've attached a photo of the next person attempting another color and as u can see the polish is horrible and she says it's creamy and new that's why it came out like that new color tend to do that i've never heard of that but again horrible service i will not be coming back nor will i be tipping anyoneeee!!!!!! read more
