I came here for a spa pedicure and Nicki did not disappoint. She was warm, friendly and maintained attention to detail while she chatted with me. She added oil to my toes to help them dry and so I wouldnt smudge them given hot hot and humid it was that day. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no additional fee as some salons may charge. Being extra cautious I decided to wait a little longer to ensure my toes were dry and I was not rushed out of the chair so she could tend to her next appointiment. read more

I work out at Fitness Incentive and notices signs hanging up for "Spatober" where they had some really great deals on the salon that is inside the gym. I have been working out here for a few years and have never checked out the spa so when I saw the specials and at a very reasonable price... I figured why not? I opted for an organic signature facial. I was also surprised to know there is a whole upstairs level to this spa as well with rooms for pampering and rejuvenation. My esthetician's name was Jackie. She was nice but not overly chatty which is fine by me - I am here to zen out. The facial was very relaxing and I appreciate that they use organic/cruelty free products here. My skin felt great afterwards and I was happy. However, this is the first facial I have had that didn't include steam and extractions. Not a big deal, but it was surprising to me as this is fairly standard practice. The regular prices of the facials are on the higher end but I would come back in a heartbeat when they have another special/sale or "incentive" (see what I did there?!?) A bonus is that there is a great day care room that you can utilize if you are visiting the salon and need someone to watch your child(ren) which I don't think any other salon offers. read more

Went for a scheduled manicure. Overall disappointed with the quality of the manicure as well as the selection of polishes. I had selected a color and was told their was an "up charge" because of the brand- there were extremely limited options in the standard brand, as compared to a normal nail salon. My cuticles were not done very well and overall my nails looked like I had done them at home. The ladies working were very nice but I would never go back. I just moved to Long Island and I was desperate of getting my hair done. I am home staying mom to 11 months old boy, so I needed place that offers Daycare. I called yesterday and they were able to see me today for color and haircut:) I was welcomed by front desk at the fitness center and lead to the spa:) Spa coordinator took me to daycare introduced me to lady who took care of all the children:) My son loved it there:) My stylist was Michelle, she was very professional, knowledgeable and super fun! I felt very welcomed and cared:) my hair looks great now:) I am looking forward my next appointment. There is also wonderful Med spa, I have not tried treatments there yet but I did talk to Nurse Kathy who was very knowledgeable and have long experience performing laser treatments. read more

What a great experience with Kathy helping me get rid of all the years of sun damage I had on my chest . I pre-booked an appointment to have a laser treatment with Kathy. (Photo laser treatment ) The treatments took about 45 minutes she treated my chest area. She numbed the area with topical cream . There was no pain whatsoever after she treated the area it felt like a mild sunburn. That lasted 2 hrs . There was no downtime and I was good to go . The photos I posted where after two treatments and I already have fabulous results . I can't thank you enough Kathy for my new fabulous skin . You are the best ! read more

I booked a salon day for my mom for her birthday. Her manicure pedicure and blowout came out amazing. The staff are very friendly. While waiting, I end up booking a hour blowout. They use many of the morrocan oil products. My hair was shiny and bouncy! read more

I have been here for a haircut and a mani/pedi. Actually enjoy the proximity to my apartment but the parking situation is not good. So you have to leave early to get a spot anyway, no matter the day. Booked appointment online and had to re-enter credit card information. I thought this was odd since I've already had to do this but I thought security was enhanced or whatever. Came for appointment today- No appointment found. They said this isn't the first time it's happened. They can't fit me in with the stylist I booked with because the person she's currently working on is getting more services then she booked for. If the system doesn't work- you change it. Change it now because no matter how much you think this is okay, it's not. If you can't stand incompetence in management/system maintenance then this would absolutely make you mad. If you can handle this, go to Elizabeth. She's a great person for hair styling and a cut. Do not go for nails. The mani gel was put on too thick by the edges so it picked up within the day. Pedicure was okay. You'd think there was a great massage thrown in there but it's just regular like what you'd get in a $20 mani/pedi special on any street. read more

I had a gift card for the place and decided to get my haircut/blow out. I told the hairdresser, Lauren that I had a holiday party that night. My haircut came out amazing. I love the way she layered and angled it. Nothing too crazy. I wanted something that I can let it dry on it's own or a quick blow dry. She then curled my hair and even showed me the technique she was doing if I ever want to try on my own. I never saw my hair that pretty before. It was curly, but not too curly. Let me start by saying the massage itself was good. The therapist (jazmine) was kind, sweet and made her best effort to make me comfortable. The issue is my husband bought me a 90 minute prenatal massage. They don't have a special bed for prenatal massages (like a precious place I went to). I was on a regular massage table, laying on my side. About half way through the massage, my hips HURT so badly from the hard table. I wasn't comfortable at all and I found myself hoping the 90 minutes was almost up. Which was a shame bc the therapist again, was lovely. For the price he paid, I'd expect a more comfortable setting for the mamas to be. I will not be returning and I do not suggest going here for prenatal. I'm sure a regular massage is fabulous though. read more

This is a wonderful place! Products are organic. It is a peaceful and caring place. Lauren was great, she took time to listen to my concerns and responded with solutions that I was actually interested in considering. She did not care about time. She cared about making me feel comfortable and making sure I had a pleasant time. I think this is the only salon I have been to that the staff did not appear as just wanting the money for the service, but they want a relationship with their clients. I had a Spa Finder gift card and recently went to Incentives for the first time for a gel manicure with Debbie. Although I still plan on sticking with my usual nail salon in future, I was happy with the service I received. The quality of my manicure was good and Debbie was friendly. I didn't really like at I had to give my credit card information when I made the appointment and was especially worried when I ended up running late. First of all, don't let the gym front dishearten you! The spa section is separate and looks very nice and welcoming. I went in for ombre color after months of letting my dyed hair just grow out. I wanted to give it a nice touch so it'll look better while I keep growing my hair out.. Michelle, the hairdresser, was super nice and was an absolute pleasure- one of the nicest and most attentive hairdresser i've had. I explained what I wanted and Michelle got to work. The place is pretty expensive (compared to others in LI) and I left with my hair still wet (opting out on the blow dry) after letting it dry i'm let down by the result- my hair doesn't looks any different. I asked if the person would be good with pressure, and I was assured she would be. Jennifer was amazing. She asked me questions and listened to my needs. I mentioned I liked pressure and she delivered. The massage was helpful and relaxing. She focused where I needed it and gave me some tips afterwards.
