You'll enter a little strip mall and find El Cafecito tucked in on the left with its pocket of outdoor seating, shaded and surrounded by bright colors and outdoor plants. I'm so glad I found it. Ordered the vegan tuna sandwich, made with chickpeas on ciabattini bread. Comes with a side of chips. I was late to my other call but well worth it. You can also order ahead through the Clover app. El Cafecito is vegetarian but the vegan options are clearly labeled. Also serves pastries, coffee, tea, wine, and beer. A discount if you bring your own cup. El Cafecito is definitely a find.

This was so good an tasty the meat just oozes out and the sweetness of the plaintains made for a perfect combination. Potato stuff meat.. 3 1/2 stars Deep fried potato ball stuff with meat. It was ok and worth a try. Chicken skewers.... 4stars. Again the chicken just tastes better in PR and these skewers did not disappoint Coconut bread..... 3 1/2 stars. Deep fried again which males it taste greasy and good. Papaya milkshake.... 3stars. Nothing too special about the shake. Total cost was $14 buckaroos. But warning. Just about everything is deep fried and u gotta be a lil concern about the cleaniness part. There's a nice lil seating area just to relax after the long hikes from El Yunque. And yes my stomach wasn't feelin great again later... If u hv a strong stomach then the meat in plaintains is worth it. I would go back and do it again for sure... The food gets 4 STARS but the potential stomach ache later gets a -1 for 3 STAR experience.....

I can go to Pueblo or SuperMax and buy these myself - same brand- same box. If you're going to be lazy, at least be honest. And at $5 per arepa- what robbery. 2 stars because the other snacks were still good- even if they also came from a frozen box we didn't get to see. Unfortunately, we won't be stopping at this food cart again. What a bummer. Seeing this frozen food box really ruined a good thing.
