I purchased several snacks including a couple arepas with cheese... while waiting the 6min for the "homemade arepas" with cheese, this was tossed into their own trash can- by them! I can go to Pueblo or SuperMax and buy these myself - same brand- same box. If you're going to be lazy, at least be honest. And at $5 per arepa- what robbery. 2 stars because the other snacks were still good- even if they also came from a frozen box we didn't get to see. Unfortunately, we won't be stopping at this food cart again. What a bummer. Seeing this frozen food box really ruined a good thing.

It was ok and worth a try. Chicken skewers.... 4stars. Again the chicken just tastes better in PR and these skewers did not disappoint Coconut bread..... 3 1/2 stars. Deep fried again which males it taste greasy and good. Papaya milkshake.... 3stars. Nothing too special about the shake. Total cost was $14 buckaroos. But warning. Just about everything is deep fried and u gotta be a lil concern about the cleaniness part. There's a nice lil seating area just to relax after the long hikes from El Yunque. And yes my stomach wasn't feelin great again later... If u hv a strong stomach then the meat in plaintains is worth it. I would go back and do it again for sure... She was warm and smiled to everyone. While she made drinks i asked random things about the island, the language, and she seemed happy to tell me about it. Vibe was elegant, slightly high scale. This was top tier; probably the best I've had. Insanely tender chicken on a pan-toasted tortilla with pineapple and some sauce. Out of this world. But honestly, compared to what's coming next, I almost forgot all about those perfect tacos. Out comes the "torta". It looks like a rectangle piece of cornbread with crème and tomatoes on top. Served simply on a white flat plate, soufflé (torta) on the left, and the salad on the right. Ate the salad first. It was the low light. Fresh and tasty, but the dressing needs a bit more pop imo: maybe vinegar. I cut off a piece of the corn bread thing, being sure to include a bit of every ingredient. I'm lost for words. I don't know what to say. This is the perfect creation. This is a godly creation. I will never forget this. Now, as I mentioned, I'm from Arizona. So I love corn. I live green chiles. These are southwest flavors so maybe I'm biased. But this thing was perfect in every way as far as I'm concerned. What she said was sour cream I think was actually crème fraiche. And, they were not wrong. The place is located on the corner of the busy highway and the street that leads up to the Wyndham Rio Mar resort. There is limited parking however you can park along the street and then walk down. The bakery itself is connected to another restaurant that serves broiled chicken and other delicious Puerto Rican bites. We had breakfast there and it was delicious. We ordered a beef pastelillo (empanada), a sandwich called bocadillo (IYKYK), lattes, and an egg scramble that came with a side of cloud bread (pan sobao). Everything was delicious here, again like most places you can share the breakfast except for the beef empanada. I ate half my sandwich and took the other half to eat on the way home. The ambience is nice, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The place is clean and there are plenty of tables and seating available.
