Such a disappointment. This used to be a good place. If she knew there was a problem (and she admitted she did)she should have said something. I thought this was a place to relax. I came to relax and now. Im leaving stressed.Thank you for saving me my money!I spent enough time and money now its time to take my business elsewhere where they care about their clients especially the ones who spend alot of money.p.s. dont take the room in the back next to the laundry room The same fate may happen to you.

Came here with my husband for a couples massage expecting nothing much and was surprised at how nice it was, the owner greeted us and informed us on everything they have at their spa. The ladies who did the massage were great and had surprisingly strong hands for such little ladies. I really enjoyed myself and look forward to coming back their soon :-) I would definitely recommend for a couples treat or a girls day!

Had a great experience at Thermea Whitby! The pools and saunas were nice. My main complaint is they…read moredon't enforce the noise levels as much as they do in other spas, so it could get quite loud. There were times where staff did some around and tell people to be quiet but people would just go back to being loud as soon as they left. Also, its a no phone zone but alot of people had their phones out and would just hide it from the staff. Other than that, the spa facilities were great. I really liked the complementary eucalyptus scrub. But what really blew me away was the food. The food was so good! We ordered the whipped ricotta with pea, crispy potatoes, smoked duck grilled cheese and smoked chicken grilled cheese. Although pricey, the food was very high quality. The customer service is also really good. I had to reschedule my spa day several times due to personal circumstances and I could easily do it through the online chat- and there's usually barely any wait time to speak to an agent. Love that.

Spa -- 5/5 Stars I…read moregenuinely can't say enough good things about Thermëa. Their motto is "Disconnect to reconnect," and after spending half a day here, I completely understand it. I brought my girlfriend as part of her birthday celebration because she loves being in the water, but I quickly realized Thermëa is so much more than just pools. There were pools at different temperatures--and when I tell you the cold pool was COLD?! --along with saunas, relaxation spaces, and different rituals to experience throughout the property. We even did a sauna meditation together, which ended up being one of my favorite parts of the day. I originally wished I had added massages to our visit, but by the end, I realized we honestly didn't need them. The entire experience was relaxing on its own. Everything felt so soothing that it was almost impossible to be there and stay bothered by anything happening outside of those walls. It felt like the kind of place you go when you need to simply let go. I would return to Toronto just to return to Thermëa. That's how much I enjoyed it. Ambiance -- 5/5 Stars Beautiful. Everything about the space felt intentional and thoughtfully designed. Even with different areas and experiences happening around you, there was still this underlying sense of calm throughout the property. It offered the kind of peace most people are searching for when they book a spa day. Service -- 4/5 Stars I'm only giving the service four stars because you really don't interact with the staff very much--which, now that I think about it, is probably exactly how it should be at a place designed for you to disconnect. The few interactions we did have were pleasant. Everyone was helpful, and nobody was rude, overbearing, or annoying. Sometimes good service is simply allowing people to enjoy the experience. Food -- 5/5 Stars It's been TWO WEEKS since I've been home, and I'm still thinking about that salad and grilled cheese. The food was simple, fresh, and really good. Nothing needed to be overly complicated or dressed up--it was just good food that fit the experience perfectly. And that Smoked Duck Grilled Cheese? Yeah. I'd like another one immediately. Drinks -- 5/5 Stars Personally, I think an Espresso Martini is one of those drinks that a lot of bartenders get wrong. Thermëa got it RIGHT. Both my girlfriend and I took our first sips and immediately lifted our glasses in the air like, "Compliments to the bartender!" Our drinks were delicious and absolutely deserving of five stars. What We Ordered: Caesar Salad -- $18 Smoked Duck Grilled Cheese -- $26 Espresso Martini -- $17 A drink I cannot remember because apparently I was too disconnected -- $12 Food & Drinks Total: $74.76 Spa Total: $201.77 Overall -- 5/5 Stars Thermëa was easily one of the highlights of our Toronto trip. Between the water, saunas, meditation, food, drinks, and simply having several hours where nothing else seemed to matter, it gave us exactly what it promised: A chance to disconnect so we could reconnect. I would absolutely go again.
