I think they used to be better. I do like some of their furniture but they seem sketchy when I ask about delivery. I have looked for a dining set and a new bedroom set everywhere. I thought of this store and decided to take a look. I saw a lot of glitzy options which isn't a bad thing. Pricing is not too high considering the times we are living in. I just feel they have one style of furniture and that is all. I have bought accessories here in the past and have been pleased with those. I enjoy browsing this store. They have so many unique finds. I am surprised there are so many negative reviews here. I have only bought one item here, a light fixture. That was a few years ago and it still works really well and looks nice. I have been here quite a few times to browse but for some reason I've only made that one purchase. Recently I was in there browsing and there were 2 employees who were just chatting. They did not acknowledge me. There was maybe one other customer in the store store so they were not busy. I didn't mind because I did not want to make a purchase anyhow. I do recommend the store for your home decorating needs. They have beautiful things and the prices are not too expensive. Really bad costumer service today . Try to get help form 2 people and they kind of did but then they elect us alone . I even had to open a box of flowers after handle something to open with . Not very safe . We had to ask so many times for help . I love the stuff they have there and is not cheap so they should be nicer and caring. When we were ready to pay we told one girl and she kept working on the computer and she said would be right then .... then the another lady that was actually nice did the transaction . ZERO star is truly what is merited. BUYERS be aware what you order is not what you get! Placed order at this particular store with a manager to ensure that the custom chairs I wanted were ordered as specified. Waited 2 months and a half and received the wrong dining room chairs. No one at the store would help me and simply brushed me off to customer service via telephone. To obtain a Customer Service Rep over the phone is nearly impossible; waited over 1.5 hours on hold. One week later and I still do not have a formal resolution and store will not step in to assist. Funny how they were quick to take order and collect the money! Nasty customer service. Today I want to this store in Pembroke Pines and it has a paper on the door warning they were close because the system. I called later and the sales person that pockup the call wasn't very helpfull, just want it to get rid of my call quickly. When I asked her which other was close by, she said "sr we are nationwide" so I said thank you and I was about to hang ip and she finally explained to me the outage was for all stores. I called to the Aventura store and the employee was very help full and tried to help me out by taking note of what I need it to buy and taking my number to call me as soon as they were online. The absolute worst! I warn you not to order any furniture and definitely do NOT pay for their "White glove delivery"!! What a joke this company is insane! I can't get a manger even though I walked into the store after many failed e mails and correspondence for my damaged delivery of my bedroom furniture I purchased in January! I have tried to communicate my issues to no avail. I would rather return my furniture and have a refund at this point but I just get the run around. The company won't even disclose the managers name, forget about a e mail to reach the manger!!! I am so beyond disappointed with this company and will never shop here again. I paid for white glove delivery on top of my bedroom furniture instead of ordering similar furniture on line and everything came delivered damaged. Went to enter the store and was stopped by an employee who stated we, three of us, had to wait for four people to leave before we can enter. Ten minutes later two people came out, another 10 minutes in 94 degree heat, two more people came out. So, we entered and was stopped by another employee who said only two can enter. I explained what the other employee said and his response was, "Well I'm the owner and we have too many people in here now." We'll as the owner you should know what was said because you were sitting by the door when the first employee told us what he did. You were unprofessional and unfair. Four people left the store as you were stationed by the door yet you failed to allow three in. And by self admission you already had to many in the store violating rules. This is one of our favorite stores ever. Even if we are not in the buying mood, we always go into this wonderful store to browse around and, usually, we come out with a bag or two in our hands. Z Gallerie has the most beautiful selection of furniture and accessories for you home. Went in yesterday with "browse around" intention only BUT they had a great sale and ended up with a couple of huge bags since we bought some gorgeous pieces to update our living room decor at home. Leslie took very good care of us and was happy to answer all my questions about what was on sale and what not, and if they had this available in that size. The customer service I received at this store was PHENOMENAL! I was looking for a couch and had very little time before returning back to a 24hr shift for fire rescue. Carlos and Mirna (Store Managers) showed me exactly what I was looking for and BOTH OF THEM even asked for pictures of where it was going to help confirm the perfect design pieces, size, and color scheme for my space. This was not about just making a sale. Both of these wonderful employees went above and beyond to make my purchase simple, fast, and easy at a time where my mind was still in rescue mode and needed help putting it all together. The customer service for Zgallerie is awful. I have tried for 3weeks to order a replacement part for a drawer I purchased from them. It has been a nightmare. They have sent me the wrong part and have been giving me the run around. I expected them to back up their products but this is not happening. Two stars for the amazing selection and how pretty the store is kept up... but minus three for customer service. I just don't feel the attention or friendliness from the staff including the manager. Very serious faces at the register and just not nice. If they were friendlier it would be a five star. Seems like she isn't very happy working there. Also if you are shopping something that is on sale they treat you differently as if they were giving it to you for free when I'm still buying something whether it's on sale or not. I have made several purchases at this store and have always had a good experience until today. I waited to hear back from customer service but after making my complaint they said they would email me and never did. I purchased a large mirror from them and had to order online because they were out of stock in store. They charged me an oversize fee but told me to pick up at the store to make it more economical. As I've done many times before, I went to the loading dock to pick up the item when it arrived. When I arrived the employee refused to assist me. Total attitude, seemed pissed that I was even there and pretty much REFUSED to help me. She said I had to load it myself! So you buy a furniture from a furniture store and you have to load it yourself?? When I made that analogy the employee pretty much said yes and added an eye roll for free. I asked for a manager and much to my surprise Sharanda (I tried to clarify her name but she quickly closed the door in my face) and said she was the manager - this says a lot about the entire place. Super rude, zero management skills or pride in her job. I took the time to contact customer service and they were apologetic and told me they would contact me but haven't. Friends, this isn't a cheap discount store. Zgallerie is up there with Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware, but staffing your stores with mindless millennials who can't be bothered with actual work makes me want to forget this store all together and go to their competitors. This is a retail business who are investing very little into their staffing. If you want a decent employee you may want to pay them a little more than the wages of an after school job. The manager and most of the staff is rude. Incompetent. They are unable to answer the most basic questions about their products, return policies, shipping. It is ridiculous. I once ordered a couch, coffee table and a dining table. The woman charged my card but realized that she didnt include the shipping fee so she cancelled out the charge meaning i had to wait like 5 business days for the money to be returned before i could re order! I didnt get an apology, i called the manager and he said he'd call me back with some sort of resolve and he NEVER CALLED BACK. When i have the time, i will be notifying the head office. We had our wedding registry through Z Gallerie which actually is done through a 3rd party which makes it very confusing for your wedding guest to purchase you a gift. This location is by far the worst, I have gone in 3 times all 3 times I've had the same experience-employees will flat out ignore you, not help nor answer any questions. I will no I get purchase from this company, they were very quick to order our custom chairs and take our money but can acknowledge you when you go in again to spend $500. I was very content with Zgallerie and their staff but the delivery company they have chosen is horrrrrrribllle. This is the most unrealistic delivery company I have ever seen. They can only deliver on the day they choose. They cannot give you a an approximate time frame they will be at your house so you just have to wait the whole day. Their idea of a time frame is 6 hours. lol If the day they chose is not good for you ( I dunno maybe because you have a job) then they will choose another day two weeks from now. They do not deliver on weekends. If that day doesn't work then I guess you just will have to go pick up your own furniture. This company is a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not buy any furniture from this store. Everything is very nice in the store, but they are not equipped for actual furniture/delivery. I ordered several big pieces in January. I still have not received 2 of the larger pieces, a bed and chair. The omni dresser that I did receive was completely damaged (although they have agreed to replace it- but I had to send pictures first). When I purchased the cuddler chair, they told me it was in stock-still haven't received it over a month later. The process is that they truck the furniture from California (once it is received from somewhere outside the US, which they won't disclose) so they never know when it is coming in. The furniture is only sent weekly to your area so when you are called by the delivery company, they are not related to ZGallerie and don't give you any options for delivery other than the specific day they will come with no exceptions. (We're only in your area on this day...) Bad for us working people. Customer service is different and separate from the store so your salesperson will just refer you to customer service. When you call customer service expect to stay on hold for 10-15 minutes before speaking to a customer service rep. And then when you do talk with them, they can't give you an answer to when your furniture will be delivered. As of today, they still can't tell me a date when my order will be delivered other than "late march"- it was originally mid February. If you buy anything from this store, I would stick to what you can carry out. The furniture has been a total disaster and I will never buy from them again. read more
