Since that exodus, it's exceptionally difficult to find decent quality care - especially if you prefer a female physician as I do - and while I did try several other providers, I have been very disappointed in the care I received and so I no longer endorse this or other clinics in the area. While I realize the changes in state law are not the *fault* of healthcare providers, it definitely has had a huge negative impact on the experience of getting health care. On my last visit to Family Health Center, I felt unheard, dismissed, and uncared for. I was not helped at all with the issue I went there to get help with. I moved my insurance coverage and all medical care to a different state that still respects a woman's right to make her own healthcare decisions.

I was a patient here for 3 years, and my doctor left the practice without my knowledge…read more I called in to make an appointment and get a medication refill and was told they no longer fill the type of medication I take. The medication is for tremors in my entire body, and I can't eat or drink anything without them. The bad part is I'll be out of the medication in two weeks that can cause seizures or death if stopped without tapering off, and when I mentioned this to the lady on the phone she just said yeah, that can happen and that I should find a new doctor soon. Everyone knows it can take months to get into a new doctor's office, let alone knowing if they'll fill my prescription that I've taken for years. My doctor Mary R was the best I've ever had in my life, but I didn't get the letter they said they'd sent out, so I'm in a bad spot because of it. It all seems very unprofessional and uncaring.

He has run pretty late on an occasion recently, but I take it as an exchange for the amount of time I got to spend with the doc. They might benefit from spreading their patients out a bit. All in all, smart, reliable docs (at least the one I saw) and helpful staff equals an operation I will definitely return to.
