The menu is quite similar to most modern cafes, offering a range of sandwiches/burgers/wraps, as well as pizzas, pastas and salads. I recommend the Smoked Salmon pizza, an alternate take on the gourmet pizza, or the fried calamari, some of the freshest I have tasted in Brisbane. Prices range from $15-$25 for a main meal. The coffee has always been good. As experienced coffee drinkers understand, it's always handy knowing where you can find a good coffee. The baristas at Caffe Primavera certainly make a great coffee, using Merlo as their supplier. Always a good temperature, and never burnt; exactly what you want out of a coffee.

It is one of the only places in Brisbane that serve turmeric lattes, they sweeten them with honey too. The other two I know of being Vegan Yum in Everton Park and La Pola Cafe in Ashgrove. I love the salads here. They are fresh and a nice change from SumoSalad. The also have some pretty good looking desserts and other nibbles. Oh, and they have a good selection of artisan breads including gluten free sourdoughs. There is a section in the back for buying groceries too. I found some decent vegan mozzarella there. I seem to always find myself here whenever I have an errand to run in Chermside.

Just by the seer amount of goods on display you can tell that their goods are in high demand. I don't even know what it's called but the there is a little hot dog wrapped in a puff pastry that has a sweet butter inside. If you take anything away from this review then let it be to make a reservation. We were thankfully seated quite quickly in the only table left without a "reserved" sign upon it. Even then, there was the definite feeling it was a table waiting for a party yet to arrive. As we had arrived in the changeover to lunch, service was a little distracted at first. The breakfast menu we'd viewed online was no longer an option but the specials our waitress told us about sang to us more than the standard cafe menu available for lunch. The special of pulled pork tacos with a corn and avocado salsa made it to our table for two of us (myself included), along with a seafood linguine and the Rueben. The tacos were grand. Three well sized corn tortillas stacked with meat, salsa and salad. Worth every penny. While I didn't try their coffee I did see a few AllPress take-away cups leaving with customers. And the best bit? Shopping in the nursery next door after you've had your lunch!
