We ordered a supreme, taco, cheese sticks and a personal pepperoni, mushroom pizza. First off; the crust on all pizzas was terrible. It was like it was left over a few days ago and they decided to use it. It had terrible flavor and was very chewy. The cheese sticks were using the same old crust. They threw the cheese on top, which slices off as soon as you take it out of the box. The taco pizza... where to even begin. There was no sour cream, no taco sauce. Same old crust as mentioned before. The chips were just thrown on top, and cheese was on 1/2 of the pizza and half melted. The supreme pizza was ok... 2.5/5 stars. Same issues as mentioned above. The person on the phone was rude, not interested in taking our order and seemed to be "on something". The total was about $40. NOT EVEN WORTH IT!! Go somewhere else. This is an excellent pizza place with a buffet that includes a salad bar. Nothing fancy, but the pizza is excellent!

The remodel looks great! If you visited the old place it deserves a second chance. My visit was during the lunch hour so I decided to go with the buffet. The pizza quality probably would have reached a 4 star but the variety during lunch time was limited to two pizzas that were decided in half showcasing 4 of their varieties. ....and they stuck with those same varieties with every new pizza added to the buffet. I was lucky as my favorite, sausage, had a constant place in the buffet. The pizza was always hot in temperature and the ingredients tasted fresh. I knew the original owner and he always raved about the wholewheat thick crust. He was right it is outstanding. The salad bar is pretty sad. Looks fresh but if you want variety head to Hy-Vee. Place is clean and the service is good. Coke products served by fountain. I was disappointed to see the Ms PacMan was out of order. You could spend a hour looking at all the wall hanging. Despite being enraged with hunger, this pizza had the unique ability to completely redefine what is the absolute worst pizza I have EVER experienced. Apart from being beyond bland, the mess the cheap bulk tortilla chips made as they crumbled into a million pieces all over your eating area will keep you from ever wanting to come back for more. The menu claims the existence of nacho cheese for which I saw no evidence. The bottom line is if you are looking for a stark reminder of what cheap, horrific, elementary school lunch tastes like, Zadeos is your place. The pizza itself is good. The toppings are not gourmet or fancy. However, the pies are better than any of the local chains (Domino's, Toppers, Pizza Hut) and their two pies on the buffet are tastier than Ci Ci's or Pizza Ranch (they just don't have the variety). The best part of the pies is still the cheese. Same good cheesy pizza as I described in the previous review: I'm basically writing an update for the brand new face-lift that the restaurant received over the past few months. The place really looks great. It has a late 70's, early 80's movie/video game theme. If you haven't been back to Zadoes because of it's prior run-down surroundings, I'd really suggest giving the place a second chance. They even have a new party room in the back for larger groups. The pizza buffet is now open from 11 to 1:30pm every day (even the weekends). Not the biggest selection; it usually has a single-topping sausage and a pepperoni pizza. The salad bar looks ok, but I never go to a pizza buffet for salad. Also, they have BBQ flavored meatballs and frank & beans. Both are unusual for a buffet. The meatballs are tasty, just so strange to see on a pizza buffet. I wish they'd put some of their other appetizers on the buffet. I'd like to try their wings or a few other items on their menu, but I've never ordered them and the buffet would be an easy way to see if they'd be good for take-out. Anyway, the buffet comes with a pop for $7.50. If the buffet isn't your thing you can get two slices to go or to eat in with a pop for a cheaper price. They still don't serve beer or alcohol, not even that horrid 3.2 stuff for when you are desperate for anything. Therefore, Zadeos will pretty much be our convenient pizza lunch buffet or take-out when we want to grab some beer and a movie from Cub next door. read more

This is some of the most bland pizza I've ever tasted. If you are in the area, I recommend taking your money to Little Caesars, or even Casey's gas station. I've lived in Rochester for 4 years now and this is the first (and last) time I will be ordering. Between the frozen crust and the flavorless sauce, I struggle to call this a pizza. read more

Disclaimer: Everyone from Chicago is a pizza snob. That said, the choices for pizza in Rochester are few but Zadeo's is a cut (slice?) above the rest. Their thin crust is reminiscent of the best neighborhood pizzerias of old and their sausage is unique and plentiful. We've been having them delivered since the mid-90s and have never had a bad experience. read more

I was so disappointed with this place. Best pizza ever? uhhh not even close. When i called to order I asked what kind of cheese was on the specialty cheese pizza... i was told "just regular cheese" and when i asked what exactly kind of cheese that was i was told "uhh I don't know regular" i pressed harder and found that it was a mix of mozzarella and provolone that came prepackaged. Nevertheless the less i proceeded to order. i was told that the size was just "regular" and that the person didn't know how big that was. When the order arrived, the delivery guy was completely quiet with his mouth hanging slightly opened. I asked him for a receipt and he seemed to irritated and to have trouble with this request. Now on to the actual pizza. It was dry, lacking in cheese and sauce, and it tasted really mediocre. It was pretty spot on as a copy cat for Grocery Pizza... so I guess if you think that THAT is good then you will love this. Bottom line, dumb staff, dumb service, dumb pizza. We were in town going to the Mayo Clinic and picked Zadeos for delivery. The pizza was delivered when promised. It was hot. It was cooked perfectly and the crust was crisp. The toppings were plentiful and very good. We will order from Zadeos again - very happy! read more

I don't know what these other reviewers were thinking. We are in town for a basketball game and the team wanted pizza. We based our decision on the 4 and half stars that this restaurant was given. Big mistake. Those reviewers must have been family. The place is a dump, it's serve yourself pizza and we had to yell for someone to show up at the counter. The crust I could pick up at the cub foods right next door, along with the bottled sauce and canned ingredients. Save your money and go to cub if you want this kind of pizza. read more

Was quoted 30 minutes, called after an hour and the manager said because I had an attitude (which I believe is legit as my food was taking twice as long as quoted) she refused to deliver to me. Terrible! We ordered 9 large pizzas for a rehearsal dinner. They didn't screw up the cheese but the other Issas were awful. Scant toppings on the veggie pizza and the taco supreme was a joke. Taco chis sprinkled on the pizza the size of a pea, lettuce in a container that didn't even cover the pizza. Packaged sour cream and small hot sauce packages. I was embarrassed to serve to guests.
