Eeeh, Mr. Zahn, you cheated/OVERBILLED me (as you admitted in one of your emails to me) and forced me UNNECESSARILY to go into bankruptcy and you got away with it. NOW, you have THE STATE BAR filed CHARGES AGAINST YOU for another misbehavior. Sooner or later, you get caught, no matter what you do to avoid it. A client filed a civil lawsuit for fraudulent overbilling against Zahn, but he was protracting the case and refusing to respond to the claims, so that ultimately the client filed for bankruptcy POINTING OUT THAT THE ONLY REASON FOR THE BANKRUPTCY IS Zahn's fradululent overbilling. Zahn agreed to forgive the fraudulent bill in return for his client's silence while the bankruptcy case was pending (Zahn admitted overbilling her in an email). Then the client request that the bankruptcy be withdrawn since Zahn forgives the fraudulent debt, but the court stated that once filed the bankruptcy can not be withdrawn?! So, Zahn with his fraudulent overbilling forced a client into bankruptcy and his colleague/?friend Mr. Jeffrey Hoffer was threatening the client to pay the fraudulent bill. The State BAR was also notified for the fraudulent overbilling. 3. Review from Mr. Mike L ( 10/11/2017) also hidden below had the same issue as me for Zahn's overbilling and he stated: "Horrible experience not professional showed up in gym clothes , no secretary no staff u pay for eveything voice mail , emails , reviewing emails at .20 hr or $60 . Had to block him on phone to avoid more charges . My case has been on hold nothing needed to be done . If i wanted to proceed further I would have contacted him like agreed . L. Paul Zahn defrauded a client by overbilling and forced his client fo file for bankruptcy which was granted by the court without a problem, even though the client was able to pay all other bills, but refused to pay the specifically and only the overchaged bill created by L Paul Zahn. THe State Bar was notified of Zahn's fraud and decided to transfer the case to the court for decision. The bankrutpcy court decided to relieve the client immediately. Zahn cheates and overbills you. He will bill you at attorney fee for secretarial services, he will hide the secretatiral servies by combining them with the legal services on your bill. Always see your bill - general and not specific describption like "prep for trial", "working on motion" also include secretarial work, which he billed at attorney fees. Don't be fooled by this attorney. Emails are also billed at min. 0.2h=$60 minimum, even though for many emails it takes less that 1-2 min to read and repsonse, he billed these emails for 12min=$60. be careful. He cheats. read more

Paul Zahn has been my attorney since 2012. Paul had to "jump in", to an on going family-custody battle. Basically, a life and death situation for my daughter. Paul had to assess the situation,and , do research ,more or less,"on the run" ,to, stop the ,fierce opposition to protect my daughter from the horrible conditions in which she was living. Paul was ,successful in his assessment and judgment of the situation.
