Awful experience! First, way over-priced. The prices listed on the website are not entirely accurate. They wanted to charge $90 for a full bikini wax! I had a Groupon, so I kept my appointment, but boy do I wish I hadn't. I don't think my nether regions could have been tortured more if boiling oil had been poured on them or exfoliated with a brillo pad. While the room was quite hot, the wax was not. Thus, she kept having to go over the areas again and again to get the wax up. Her gloves kept sticking to the leftover wax, giving me a double waxing whammy. She was slow and kept saying, "last one," even though it was SO NOT the last one. It was never the last one. I was close to tears by the time it was over. Then they charged an extra $15 because I was a bit thicker down there. Apparently they will charge up to $25 extra based on the amount of hair. I get that more hair equals more work, but it's not like your haircuts are based on the amount of hair you have or your massage is based on how big you are. One price for everyone is how it should be. Needless to say, despite the fact that I was bullied into the preferred card, I will not be returning. Decent facial, terrible customer service. As I walked in, two customers were checking out, complaining about the high price- the owner replied, "You should go back to the other place then." That was a little shocking. During the consult, I specifically advised that I would like to only spend 45 minutes since I was from out of town and had an itinerary. She promised that was fine... BUT the facial took an hour and 25 minutes. After the last portion of the mask, she left me in the room and forgot about me! The only reason why I didn't get up sooner was because I fell asleep. Thankfully I was able to get my eyes open and text my friend that was in the waiting room to get the lady to come back. I think she was embarrassed about forgetting about me, so she had her assistant finish the facial. Who also kept commenting that I should wax my lip, LOL. That's not what I came here for! Walked in with 3 friends (2 men, 1 woman), we asked the price and were told $15. After receiving services, which were pretty good, and going to the register, we were charged $25. She claimed the other stylist did not know the prices; as a small business owner, I will say if you quote a price to a customer before rendering services, you honor that price upon payment. Eyebrow threading...it's definitely not for the faint of heart! But the end results are decent! And I guarantee you, you will have more natural looking brows and let's face it. We don't want that surprised, scary look...now do we, ladies? This place is always packed but they do a good job. They have also been around for a long while. There threading is $15 dollars as a regular customer and $8 if you have a customer reward card. I had a coupon for Zaibee's Tuesday and Wednesday special for a $4 eyebrow threading. I went in today and the lady first proceed to tell me it was a 2 hour wait even though there was absolutely no one waiting there at all. I came back two hours later as she instructed me too. I have a customer reward card and the coupon for a $4 eyebrow threading and this lady proceeded to tell me she was going to charge me $15 while already making me wait 2 hours. She was very unaccommodating. I don't know why she thinks she can make her own prices when there are set prices for a reason. I firmly believe she was trying to rip me off. I have been a customer of Zaibees and Ruby for over 2 years. Today I called and scheduled an appointment. They informed me Ruby was on vacation but Zaibee would be taking her clients. In the past I would not schedule but since the owner was working Rubys clients I was ok with it. When I get there I sat down and Zaibee came out and said she had not ate lunch but she would do my brows and eat afterwards. She threaded my brows and tinted them. The tint wasn't on long enough so when she wiped it off. I asked if it could stay on longer. Zaibees response was she left it on for 10 minutes. I asked again could we reapply so the tint could look more defined. This is what Ruby does for me. She then told another technician to do it. I have never seen her before. I let her and after she applied the tint I looked like a clown. I asked her if she could thin the tint so it wouldn't be so thick. She proceeded to remove some of the tint. Then when I looked in the mirror they were very uneven. I asked her if I could wipe some it off myself. When I looked in the mirror and attempted to clean up my own brows I saw there was some dark brown henna die in my blonde hair. I said OMG you got die in my hair! She began to try and get it out. It didn't work. I went to the bathroom to attempt to wash that portion of my hair with hand soap. I asked her for a towel. The die never came out. I knocked on the office door where Zaibee was and told her that her technician got dark brown henna in my hair. Zaibee said she would get it out. So she come out and asks me if she can put bleach on my hair. I tell her no. She could not put bleach on my hair. So she attempted to rub it with a cotton ball and cleanser. As she was doing this she said that I probably did it. Because when I was laying back in my seat I was on my cell phone making appointments and I did it. I was appalled. I said ok. Zaibee so the customer is wrong. Blame me? Why not try n fix this. She said that I need to realize that no one is perfect. The only perfect person is God. I asked her to stop rubbing my hair to please remove the die from my brows because I wanted to go home. I got up went to the counter to pay. She told me the fee and I handed her my credit card. As she swiped she said I needed to be more patient. I told Zaibee I would like to pay and leave. I told her this will be my last time here because she yelled at me and accused me of a mistake that her technician did. She began to scream do not tell me I yelled at you. Do not stress me I have a bad heart. My clients have came to me for 18 years! You she feel honored that I did your brows. I finally got my card. A dear friend I trust first took me to Zaibee's, and I was hooked from then on! I've been coming to Zaibee's for over a decade off and on and haven't found any better threading! Sadly, I have moved out of Texas but I still make it a point to come here when I'm in town. Ruby is very experienced at threading and has been able to work magic on my unruly Asian eyebrows and facial hair issues. I have sensitive skin/eczema issues and threading has been the least painful way to shape my eyebrows. I can tell such a difference when I have threading done and prefer to get threaded before special occasions instead of putting on a ton of makeup. I went to Zaibee's routinely while I was working in Richardson. It is conveniently located off of 75 and has the friendliest and most professional staff that always work to fit you right in even during busy hours. Although make no mistake the experience at Zaibees is not about being rushed rushed in and out of the door, Zaibes and her staff take great pride in their customers and will not sacrifice quality. I have yet to find another place like it. I have very thick and dark facial hair & eyebrows, Zaibee's is the one place in Dallas that I trust to get a good shape and I've tried almost every threading Salon in town. Now that I work in Houston, I even find myself making a special trip to Zaibee's when I am home to visit in Dallas. Prior to my last visit, I had attended twice. Once I went with my friend whom introduced me to this place to get my eyebrows threaded along with tinting and I was very pleased with the overall experience and cost. I went a second time with my mother for the same service and the experience was average, with the cost still great. The second tinting was off and too dark for my pale skin complexion. The third time I decided to take along some male friends for eyebrow threading seeing as to how my eyebrows looked great and the price was cheap. I looked on their website and the price says $6 for eyebrow threading. I called ahead of time to make sure they did men's eyebrows as well and they said yes. We get there and after everyone has had their eyebrows done, the price comes out to be $20 for EACH threading! Absolutely absurd! My friends were definitely upset, especially since I made the mistake of relying on the price that their WEBSITE ADVERTISED. I told the lady that her website advertised a different price and she simply replied that that price was for female members only. I did not argue since I wasn't completely sure about seeing a members price only on their website. Once I got home, I checked and NO WHERE does it specify on the website that the prices are specifically for females and/or members only. The lady charged me $12 for eyebrows and when I later text my friend who introduced me to the place, she told me that she wasn't a member and they charged her $8. They left one eyebrow thinner than the other one too. But what can you do? Definitely not returning here again. If Zaibee is not available then I request Ruby. As for the pricing, it is very reasonable. They offer discounted pricing to their regulars through a loyalty program. Note that if you request Zaibee, the price is higher as she is the owner of the salon (typical salon pricing where you pay more for the most experienced). As I sat there, there were 2 other customers who were greeted and helped along with the girl who was there when I walked in. So this was my first time coming here, as a good friend of mine had recommended it numerous times. I came in today to be greeted immediately and told to sign in. The owner Ms. Zaibee told me to have a seat and someone would be right with me. A young lady took me back after a few minutes and I told them it was my first time in. My eyebrows were SHOT and horrible after a couple of botched attempts at other, nameless places. The manager, Lucy I believe is her name, told the young lady that I needed shaping and Zaibee to provide my threading services. I didn't mind at all, as I needed them to be right! I have been a customer at Zaibees for over 5 years, and every time I see Ruby. The last few times we have been Ruby's work hasn't been the same. Her skills are declining and she isn't threading our brows like she used to. After my appointment today, I got into my car and looked in the mirror and saw that Ruby had left me with a slash in my eyebrow, like a Mexican gangster! She doesn't take her time, and she doesn't shape my brows the way I like them shaped. It's very sad for me because I am so picky about my brows and she was the only one who could do them right. I tell her, but it's like she just says "ok" and does what she wants anyways. Also, it's sad how the other girls who work there ask to eat lunch and Ruby tells them, "No, eat later." Zaibee did the same thing when she used to be there. They would flat out tell Zaibee they were hungry and she would tell them no! The other girls don't have customers, maybe Ruby is doing a bad job on purpose to give the other girls some work. Their brow service isn't the same as it used to be and its very disappointing. OVER PRICED . Not Satisfied . 85$ for facial . I went there yesterday for a facial and they convinced me that my skin z uneven ,I shud take 85$ facial for the first time and they vil giving a cleansing,which ended up as a free cleanser of some brand haven't ever heard of. My main concern was about the black heads and I asked them clearly that will they b doing blackheads removal and she told yes. I will never go back to Zaibee's!! I was overcharged. My daughter and I have been going to this place for a few months, We happened to go on a Sunday, before one o' clock to get our brows and waxing done. It was 12:30 when I was about to pay and I noticed they were charging me full price, I asked the receptionist, why was I being overcharged, when they clearly had a huge red sign, otside their window, with specials before one o' clock. She was rude and said that everybody knew that their specials were not on Sundays. I said ok, and paid my bill. When I walked outside, I read their sign and It clearly said: "early specials, everyday, before 1 p.m." I pointed out the sign to Ruby, the cosmetician, and she acted dumb and said she was not aware that the sign said "everyday specials" , and she would refund me next time. I was so disapponted of the fact that they took advantage of us. They knew who I was because I been a good client and I also left good tips.
