I wanted to post my recent/1st project, resize and setting of a stone in my ring. Pictures don't do it justice, it looks amazing. So far the best jeweler I've worked with in the Cape Coral/Ft Myers area. Gabriela was a dream to work with. Highly recommended. read more

I called several places around town to do a very simple solder fix on a sterling silver necklace. Zak's was EXTREMELY reasonable and super fast! Excellent, friendly service also when I had some questions about diamond stud earrings. I will definitely be back to this super professional store and I highly recommend them! read more

I came upon Zak's Jewelry store when visiting another downtown business. Having lost a sentimental piece of jewelry, I decided to check this store out. What a lucky day for me!! Gabriella greeted me with a smile, and showed me around. They have some of the most unique, and beautiful jewelry pieces I have ever seen. The showcases are beautifully designed with exquisite, sparkling jewelry that will make a girl want everything. Gabriella is very knowledgeable, and so friendly, helpful and fun to be around. I mentioned my lost item of jewelry, and within a week, she had this piece replicated, sized and ready for me to pick up. What can I say? Everything was perfect, from the moment I stepped in the store, right through picking up my perfectly sized piece of jewelry. My heart is happy again. Thank you Gabriella. Having lived here for 16 years, I cannot believe it's taken me so long to find this hidden gem. Zak's will forever be my favorite jewelry store. I highly recommend. read more

My daughter and I went to Zak's jewelry because we had some jewelry in our family that we were no longer going to be able to wear. Zak's gave us a very fair price for the 14 karat gold jewelry. Gabriella, who is one of the workers, was especially helpful. If you are buying a piece of jewelry or selling a piece of jewelry I would advise going to Zak's. They will be able to help you! read more

Way way over priced. They charged me 50 dollars to take a link out of my wrist watch that didn't cost much more. They were very friendly, smiling, helpful as they lop your head off with their high prices. I can't imagine what they do to you on jewelry lol Stay away! read more

My husband's wedding band broke last week, and I had several other various pieces in need of repair. One necklace and three ring fixes, resizing, replating, diamond replacement...all done in less than a week and extremely reasonably priced. My grandmother's antique ring has new, gorgeous life! Gabriella was so courteous, professional, and efficient. We couldn't be happier, thank you, Zak's! read more

Everyone there is so nice! I went to several jewelers in the past couple of years, and Zaks have never said no to me about anything to do with Jewelry! Other companies send your precious jewelry out to get fixed, or tell you they won't even buy their own gold back... Not Zak's everything from beautiful jewelry, to watch batteries... awesome and friendly! Thank You! read more

Went in just to shop around and get some quotes. Super friendly and welcoming! Will be going back in the future.

Rude staff with an attitude! Really don't appreciate being talked down to as if I'm unable to afford something. That's how I was treated after spending a few thousand dollars there on a repair, etc. Very poor customer service. read more

When my wedding ring lost a diamond, I was upset and put off doing anything about it. Finding the right place to take my ring was important. After reading reviews, I decided to take the ring to Zak's for an estimate. The estimate for the diamond replacement was very reasonable and the interaction with the staff put me at ease. They suggested a new rhodium plating for the white gold, which I appreciated and included in the work to be done. They said they would call within a week and I received a call 5 days later. They not only did great work they surpassed my expectations. The ring was restored to new condition and had a dazzling sparkle again. The new diamond was so perfect my husband forgot and couldn't tell which one had been missing. This is a small family owned business. They're professional and gave me great service. Highly Recommended. read more

We had such a great experience finding our wedding rings. Very nice lady helped us out, she was honest and upfront.

My engagement rings and my bands and my husbands came from Zak's. The ladies that work here are always helpful super nice and very communicative. I love my rings and get compliments all of the time even from men on how beautiful my diamonds are. They are trustworthy and the owner Tom works with you to get what you want. I'm super happy and will be here for any future upgrades! read more

Somehow my account got mixed up with Susan T from San Francisco California however I am Susan T from Cape Coral, and still stand by original complaint where my husband brought in my platinum diamond ring to be steam cleaned oh, he did not ask for polishing. The lady said we don't do that in the nasty tone and she looked at him like he was a criminal, it's okay you can spin it whichever way you like we know what happened. We have now moved on to Noe's, where we were met with smiling face and a handshake and introduction. We always try to support the local business oh, very disappointed in Zaks.. We will not be back and have happily moved on down the street! read more

Absolutely the best jewelry store in SW Florida! After 4 years living in Florida I have finally found a jewelry store that isn't ripping off the customer. I took 1 piece of diamond jewelry that needed to be rhodiumed to 2 other area jewelers and both wanted ridiculous money to do so. When I went to Zak's, not only was their price reasonable, it wasn't going to have to be sent out and it would be completed in 1 day, not the 2-3 weeks quoted by the others. When I went the next day to pick it up, I brought 3 other pieces of jewelry. 1 pair or earrings that were broken and they fixed them on the spot. No charge. The other 2 needed small repairs and rhodium and let me tell you this. The price once again was extremely affordable compared to DD and JM who are on TV stating they are the best. They may think they are but both places were disorganized and couldn't immediately give me the price for repairs, they had to look it up, talk to coworkers and when I finally received pricing it was ridiculous. I think they prey on those they believe to be wealthy. Anyway, Zak's employees were professional, organized, knowledgeable and offered many tips for keeping my jewels safe. My new favorite jewelry store. #1 in SW Florida! read more

Visited Zak's today to have my diamond ring which is set in Platinum , just to ask them to clean the ring polish up the platinum and clean the stone. The woman looked at me as if I was there to rob the store ,very rudely stated that no we don't do that sort of thing! Meanwhile we watch all their wonderful ads they're a family business and please come in to have any repairs done while you wait and you can watch us do it. Absolutely will never step foot in that store again,. Epic fail for customer service. We try to give the local guy business but we will now move on. read more

I won't shop at any other jeweler in Southwest Florida! Zak's is the best! A friend recommended Zak's when I lost a diamond in my wedding ring. They completed the job in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Then I decided to have a bracelet made from a necklace that I no longer wore. Beautiful job! Plus, they returned the gold to me that they didn't use. That's unheard of! Very honest family owned business! Zak's is MY jewelry store frim read more

Love this store! They do beautiful repair work and store is just gorgeous! Personable and knowledgeable staff. Only complaint is would love to see some sale prices. Anxiously awaiting October sale! read more

I have bought many peices of fine Jewelry at Zaks since I was a teenager. The quality and service they provide outweigh the extraordinarily reasonable prices they charge for their beautiful peices. Alison was able to custom make me my fiancés engagement ring. She basically made the perfect ring for her combining the features I was looking for. And she did this all for Hundreds less than her competitors. I highly recommend Alison and Zaks Jewelry heads and shoulders above all others. read more

I needed a watch sized-it was done quickly & was half the price of the last place I went. I also had a piece of jewelry repaired & was charged less than expected. The staff was courteous & engaging. read more

Fantastic family running Zak's. They run the quintessential family business. From destining a custom ring for me to simple jewelry repair there is NO one I would rather bring my business to. No one I would trust like these guys. They have the best collection of estate jewelry, new and custom jewelry. Check them out. You won't be sorry. read more

My fiance and I really did not have a good experience here. We're currently ring shopping and were in the area so decided to stop in to briefly get an idea of their selection. Even though it was 10 minutes til close, their doors were locked, so we got halfway to the street but a lady opened the door and asked us to come in. It was really awkward--there were four people standing around, and it was unclear exactly who was a worker and who was a patron. No one was friendly, and the one woman behind the counter was very short with her responses to my questions (do you have sets? "Some." do you take custom orders? "Sometimes.") and seemed truly annoyed we were there. They have a small engagement ring selection compared to other stores in the area--maybe about 80 rings in a 2' by 1.5' display case. I gathered that they order a bunch of pre-set rings, then sell what they have. If they don't have precisely what you want, it seems you're SOL. That said, they only had one ring with the cut I wanted, and it was just under $9,000 and big and bulky (not at all the ring style I wanted). No, "what's your budget; what style and metal are you looking for," etc. Put off, we said "thanks" and were walking out the door as we heard a halfhearted "congratulations." I hate to think they looked at me and my fiance and thought we looked young so didn't have much money to spend, but this is really what it seemed like. Even though we're in our thirties, we both have well-established careers. This should NEVER matter, though--if you're in the business to cater to all types of customers, either do it well or exit the market. I was sorely disappointed in my experience and will never come back here. read more

Very nice helpful customer service, fixed my watch and very friendly staff . Nice things to look around while waiting . Very reasonable pricing from what I can tell they do have slot of traffic come in and out so they must be good. read more

I highly recommend Zak's for jewelry repair! A birthstone fell out of my family ring. I took it back to the department store I bought it from years ago and was told it would cost $300 to replace the stone. The woman at the department store actually recommended I go to Zak's! They were able to replace the stone at an extremely reasonable price and had it ready in five days. The ring looks fabulous and sparkles like the day I bought it. I will be recommended Zak's to all my friends and family. read more

I came in to have my twin daughters ears pierced. I had such a pleasant experience with such a nice lady that pierced their ears. I want to thank your business for making all of our days. Just wanted to get a ring guard and possibly look at some rings. The lady took the ring and examined it, but didn't say anything. She went to the back room (I'm thinking how long will she be gone) but luckily she came back in a few minutes with a ring guard installed. She just said that will be $5. Didn't clean the ring, didn't ask if we wanted to see anything else, nothing. We asked why she examined the ring before going in back. She hesitated, then said abruptly that she did that incase we would say it was missing stones when she gave it back. I understand that would be a good reason but the way she did everything we will never go back. Rude and unprofessional. read more

I can't even believe that this place would get any negative reviews! As far as business' go, Zak's is the most professional and trustworthy place around. I have sold gold to them in the past and have experienced nothing but great service and honesty. This is the only place my husband will shop for me for jewelry. The customer service is great and everyone who I have referred to Zak's says the same thing. I highly recommend Zak's for all your jewelry needs, plus, they have been in business for EVER! read more

We've used Zak's Jewelers several times, always very happy with the work and the very fair price. Today, I took my engagement ring in because the stone was loose. They looked at it, said prongs needed tightening, and proceeded to tighten the prongs and clean it up beautifully. I reached for my wallet only to be informed that it was FREE! Who does this any more??!! What a great old-fashioned value! I'll only use Zak's from now on! How can you beat great work, friendly staff, and fair prices? Zak's is the best jeweler in SW Florida! Highest recommendation! read more

Went there to purchase a new setting, woman who helped me was not very friendly, I felt like I was a bother, politely said I was leaving and left, it was very uncomfortable and when I called yo let someone know, she actually got on the phone with me and argued then wished me luck on finding another store, no apology. I went to another store up the street and purchased a new setting. Very disappointed because I always try to stick to family owned businesses read more

So so so helpful. My fiancé had an engagement ring custom made here and it was absolutely gorgeous. It was a little big so we went in to resize it and the woman I talked to was super nice to me and was very engaging and seemed interested in talking to me, not treating me like a number who was next in line. Love these guys! read more

I got my watch battery replaced here two months ago. It stopped working , so I went back today to see if they would replace it. I explained that the Jeweler had insisted on me paying with cash and that I hoped they would give me another battery for my watch. They would NOT stand behind their work and wanted to charge me for another battery. I am glad to learn this now before I purchased anything expensive from them. They lost a customer for life today over a cheap battery! read more

I'm not familiar with their entire business. But here is a warning: do not sell jewelry to Zak's. Over the years, I have sold several pieces of fine jewelry. Each time I visit several local jewelers to get the best price. The four times that I stopped into Zak's to ask them if they wanted to purchase my jewelry, not only were they the lowest offer, but they were ridiculously lower. For instance, one time they offered me 120 for an art deco watch, another jeweler gave me 280. In 2008 they offered me 4000 for a loose diamond, sold it to another jeweler twenty minutes later for 7000. And today I went to 4 jewelers and offered a diamond and platinum bracelet. Three jewelers offered me between 2400-2600. Zak's offered me 1150! I don't know if they just can't value correctly, or if they only want items they mark up 800%. But DO NOT SELL THEM YOUR JEWELRY. To be fair, maybe because they buy it so low, they may also sell jewelry at better prices, so maybe its a good place to buy estate jewelry--not sure just speculating. read more
