I would give them a zero if that was an option. My husband bought a tennis bracelet that I wanted for years. Right after he gave it to me we took it back because it looked like it was going to break beside the clasp. They said it was fine. I took it back again and they said it was fine once again. This time I insisted something is wrong with it and they had me purchase a safety chain for it. Well, thankfully I purchased the chain because it broke right after I got it back and has continued to break within days of getting it back from repair numerous times!!! This time they said I needed to purchase the warranty. I don't think so!!! This is obviously your issue, not mine!! Well, a week later it's broken once again. I had my daughter send her necklace to be repaired as the clasp needed to be soldered. When I went to pick it up the place was super busy. They didn't show it to me as I was being walked around to a clear spot and they put it in a bag and charged me. I should have requested to check it as I paid $120 and it was not soldered. The receipt says that the customer acknowledges & inspected the item. So now I'm out of luck. I paid $60 for the repair and an additional automatic $60 for cleaning (which it also doesn't look like it was cleaned). Guess I need to find someone else to do the repair, but won't be coming back here. The sales people are just that in for a sale and they don't care about anything else. read more

My fiancé bought my engagement ring from here. Spent a hundreds of dollars and I went to go in and have them size it for me and they tell me they can't because of everything going on. But I can sure as hell go in and buy something and try stuff on but once they have their money they couldn't give two rats tails about you. Horrible customer service. My husband did not know that Zales sells crap. He bought me a $3000.00 bracelet for Christmas ( I thought I'd die when I saw the box) not knowing how bad the diamonds were or that it was 10 K gold. Have you ever? 10 K? Well, two months after I had it, a diamond fell out. (This is standard for the junk they sell.) They replaced it. Took 5 weeks. Seven months after I had it, it broke. Another 5 weeks. I was supposed to get an email and didn't so several days after it was to be ready, I called. SEVEN TIMES IN ONE HOUR before someone answered the phone. When I went in, a man was there complaining that first his wife's ring had a diamond fall out, then the gold broke and she'd only had it a short time. Poor man. 25 years ago, my son, purchased a diamond ring for his finance. While they were having dinner a few months later, the stone fell out. Luckily, she found the stone on the floor. They "repaired" it and a week later, the stone fell out again. They tried to return it and were told they could not return it, but they could upgrade to a better ring for another $500. My fiancé bought my engagement ring here and within 5 months I've had two diamonds fall out at different times. The ring is beautiful but for as much as we paid i wouldn't expect the quality to be what it is. The customer service at the store is super helpful, especially Rosemary, who is always very patient and understanding and went out of her way to assist me with this problem. Beware. Something doesn't sit well with me about this place and the only reason I'm giving it two stars is because I actually got my ring back. Let me start from the beginning... In the beginning of December, I dropped off my wedding set to have a stone repaired. The repair ticket I was given said the job would be complete by Jan. 12th. I waited a few days after to call and every time spoke with Leticia. Her computer showed that it was still being repaired, so no biggie. Said I would call back next week. Called the following week and same thing -- still being repaired. Was told with the holidays, etc that it was probably taking a little longer. Again, that's fine, but there was never any initiative on her part to possibly look into it further. Maybe a little dismissive? Three weeks after it was due back at the store I called AGAIN and this time was told it was being finished up and ready to ship back. Whew, finally, right? Ha! Called back again today and was told that the ring had not shipped and was still under repair. Up until this point I've been completely patient and probably more so than most customers would've been. She told me she would email corporate for further details and should know something within 48 hours. Well, that's not good enough for me considering I've been inquiring about this for a month solid. We hung up and I found my repair ticket, checked the status on the repair and my computer showed that my ring shipped out of the Zales outlet for repair, but that was it. Livid was an understatement. I called Leticia back and wanted answers. Why is her computer showing one thing and my computer another. Again, incredibly dismissive and her demeanor towards the situation was odd. When I asked if I needed to come up to the store to resolve this issue, she said if I wanted to show her what was on my screen then okay, because she's never had a customer have a different computer status than her. "I don't know. We will just have to wait for corporate to email back...". Funny enough, I decided to call corporate myself. Within 30 seconds I had someone on the phone, politely explained my situation, she called the store and within 5 minutes my ring was magically found by Leticia IN the store, where it had been for several weeks waiting to be picked up. Riddle me that, Batman. She blamed the computer system and said it was an ongoing problem that she wasn't able to "accept shipments" or something. I don't know if something fishy was going on, BUT I will say this: this situation was handled completely unprofessional. Her lack of professionalism, her inability to try and resolve the matter, and even seemed to give the impression I was bugging her by inquiring about my ring, etc. Swooped up my ring today and was never given a simple apology or anything. Because this is my wedding set and I need to have it inspected/cleaned regularly, I will be using the other Zales in town. This situation reeks and I don't feel comfortable buying or taking my jewelry here any longer. read more

Leticia Hill is the store manager of the Zales Outlet in Waco. She lost my wedding ring after I left it there to get resized. The short story is she never made any attempt to reconcile the problem. She showed a lack of compassion and was very apathetic toward my situation and never attempted to make things right. The result? She simply said there was nothing she could do and refunded my husband's money. We have only been married for 16 months and now I am without the ring that my husband gave to me as a symbol of his love and affection and our marriage.
