I paid $12 for one packet of Bingo games, and had fun playing with some friends for about three hours total. Next month I want to come again! Remember to bring cash to purchase bingo games, extra games, and to purchase drinkies and snacks from the snack bar. There were nachos, hot dogs, and chips available yesterday. Beer, wine, and soda were available drinkies. They also had free water and coffee provided. If you don't have your own dobber for Bingo they provide free rentals, but you can also buy one for $1 in cash. They also have raffles included with your Bingo packet, so hang on to that ticket. I won a bottle of Sobon Cab Sauv in one of the raffle drawings yesterday! :-) They have bathrooms downstairs and upstairs too, and though it does get busy we were easily able to find five seats together. Of course, two of us did show up early. For next time I will remember to again arrive early and bring cash for this cash only event. If you have never played legit Bingo before, they are patient and helpful. It is beginner friendly with many helpers available and walking around the room. Highly recommend! Yay Bingo! Outside food is fine. Street parking.

It balances upscale and relaxed in a way that works whether you're there for a date night, business dinner, or just grabbing a drink. The lounge has great energy and always feels alive without being too much. The food speaks for itself. Consistently high quality, fresh, and well executed. You can tell there's intention behind every dish, not just going through the motions. For the level of quality you're getting, the value is absolutely there. Service is a big reason this place stands out. Christy is amazing. She genuinely cares, remembers people, and makes sure you're taken care of the right way. It never feels forced, just natural hospitality. This is one of those spots that's become part of Woodland's identity. You see regulars, new faces, families, and business meetings all happening at once. That kind of mix only happens when a place is doing something right. Back Door Bistro, Vacaville: 2026 Jul 10 (4.29 of 5)…read more Ladies Gathering!! The service here is a 4.5 of 5. We had different servers who attended to us and they're both friendly and looked cheerful. We got there towards the end of Happy Hour and was presented with their Happy Hour menu. The menu is small, easy to read and has almost everything we'd want for that time of day - including the drinks. The food is a 'hit' or 'miss'. Here's my review: Drinks: Both the Arnold Palmer and the Cadillac Margarita were good. My lemonade tea wasn't overly sweet and I could definitely taste the lemonade. The pitcher of Cadillac Margarita looks innocent but may give someone a slow and powerful buzz if you're not used to the drink. (4.75 of 5) Charcuterie: This a complete appetizer board. Overall, there were some hits and misses, however, we agreed this is a well thought out appetizer board. (4 of 5) Crispy Brussels Sprouts: This is the best dish here, featuring deeply caramelized, dark golden-brown edges and a nutty, earthy flavor. Their Crispy Brussels Sprouts is also the best we've had. The seasoning is on-point, allowing the texture to show off its crackling, crunchy bite on the outside, contrasted by a tender, melt-in-your-mouth interior. (5 of 5) Seasonal Tacos: "Oh WOW!" The explosion of spicy and tangy flavours balanced by contrasting textures makes this dish "pop". (4.75 of 5) Beet Salad: The colours were lovely, but this beet salad was over-salted. The vibrant dish featuring beets as the main ingredient, balances the earthy sweetness with contrasting textures and flavours. If this wasn't too salty, it would have been more refreshing. (3.75 of 5) Coconut Lime Bouillabaisse (halibut, jasmine rice, spinach, snap pea, pickled shiitake mushroom, coconut lime broth, basil oil): Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Bouillabaisse means seafood. The only seafood we noticed were chunks of halibut, which were delicious. This dish looks and tastes more like an elevated Thai soup dish that cost too much. (3.5 of 5) After walking in, we decided to sit outdoors because of the loud music that was playing. We're glad we did. The overhang on the veranda was well positioned with plants and flowers softening the cement walkway. The weather was pleasant - with a gentle breeze blowing down the corridor. Parking is easy if you arrive early enough. One last note: Back Door Bistro in Vacaville was featured on "Check, Please! Bay Area"

The wines were very good but I felt that its limited things to do here unless you have a membership with them. The winery was beautiful and very clean, but I felt that it caters more to the wine membership customers rather than regular ones. The seating was nice and serene with a nice view. The natural beauty of the venue will grab your attention, but the ease of working with the staff will melt your stress away and capture your heart! We had our wedding here on May 25, 2025 and it was THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES! We had our ceremony in the ballroom and it was everything I imagined brought to life. All guests then went downstairs to the epic Locked Barrel Whiskey Lounge for cocktail hour while the ballroom was transitioned into the reception of my dreams! The food was delicious, the drinks were perfect, and the service was first class. Each and every guest enjoyed themselves all day and dozens of people told me this was the best wedding they've ever been to. We were impressed with every detail of this venue from the moment we stepped foot inside a year ago while we were still venue hunting. My conversations with Sabrina and Rachelle solidified our decision to have the biggest day of our lives here. They are the glue that hold everything together, they are consummate professionals, and just the most fun! Careful, you will want to be best friends with them before the planning process is over! We are not rich, but they maximized our budget and this venue made me feel like a wealthy queen on our big day. Some folks even asked my husband how much money he makes because our wedding seemed so expensive! Trust me, it wasn't cheap, but compared to other comparable venues The Elks Tower is by far the best value you can get in Sacramento. It was worth every dime spent and I would do it all again if I could. The ballroom is a stunning two-story space with an elegant balcony - ornate, full of character, and the perfect setting for such a special day. Truthfully, we are all still on cloud nine, and I want to tell you why. It starts with the real stars behind the venue. Sabrina and Rachelle, our banquet event manager and coordinator, delivered seamless execution and went above and beyond at every stage. With more than 20 years of experience, their expertise was evident from the moment we began planning. Unlike other venues/coordinators we encountered, Sabrina and Rachelle genuinely listened to our vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and shared creative ideas that elevated our event beyond what we had even imagined. Their attention to detail was impeccable. From the food presentation - exquisitely elegant, with varied buffet heights and beautifully ruffled tablecloths to the flawless table settings that radiated sophistication - everything felt extraordinary. Guests enjoyed an hour of pre-dinner appetizers, including a central charcuterie board and pre-poured champagne glasses, which helped avoid the usual rush you often see at events like this. They also suggested two fully staffed bars with two bartenders each, open the entire time, ensuring easy access for everyone. They were spot on as there were no lines the entire night! The buffet for 185 guests - featuring salads, chicken marsala, teriyaki salmon, vegetables, and a show-stopping prime rib carving station with two carvers - was beautifully presented. Guests moved through the line amazingly fast, with everyone served in just 30 minutes. Throughout the event, the entire team operated like clockwork: appetizers were served promptly, dining service ran seamlessly, bartenders were efficient, and guests were always well taken care of. Even weeks later, many people are still commenting on the attentive and seamless service they experienced from the staff at The Elks Tower. Sabrina, Rachelle, and their staff exemplified professionalism, grace, and quiet efficiency. They truly covered every detail from beginning to end, allowing us to enjoy the celebration stress-free. If you're looking for a fabulous venue and coordinators who listen, deliver beyond expectations, and make your event flawless, look no further - Sabrina and Rachelle are absolute gems, and The Elks Tower ballroom is a stunning venue that will elevate any occasion.

BEST. DINNER. EVER…read more Picture This: We are one of those obnoxious couples who have the audacity to hold hands and sit on the same side during dinner. Maybe steal a kiss. Yep. That's us. We arrived at Ella just before our 9:15 reservation and were promptly sat at a beautiful table. And wow, this table was gorgeous! The beautiful design of the space keeps your eyes entertained on every level. Both beauty and intrigue. It is a feast for the eyes before you get to the actual feast. However, we were hoping for a more intimate date experience so we asked for somewhere a little more secluded. Without hesitation, we were moved to another, equally beautiful table. Enter Kelly and Hunter. These two help to make our evening even more spectacular. The ambience was perfect. We started with their signature cocktail, gin and tonic with their homemade tonic and a martini. Hey-ooo! Dang that was a good drink. And efficient ;) We moved onto the heirloom tomato starter. Here is where I realized it started to get a little difficult. I was trying to look polished and refined, and really, you could've licked the plate. My handsome man is a vegetarian so he got the Barada spaghetti. I'm assuming he liked it because he ate every last bite. That, and he told me it was delicious. I ordered the lobster risotto. I have a hard time with food that looks too pretty to eat. But, I stopped staring at the beauty of the plate once the delicious smell rose in the air. Best risotto I've ever had. Hands-down. Makes a second place look pretty sad. No dessert but that can be remedied the next time we visit. We ended up having one of those dates where we ordered the appetizer and an hour later we hadn't finished it because we were still talking. I realized we hadn't even finished our appetizer course and yet, the restaurant was almost empty. When Hunter came by to refill the waters, I apologized that we hadn't even started eating yet and asked what time they closed. Hunter proceeded to provide the most amazing interaction. Making eye contact with both of us, he very kindly explained how they wanted this dinner to be an utterly unique experience and not worry. That we are here to enjoy ourselves in this beautiful restaurant so drink in every moment. And so we did. Kelly was awesome. We chatted for a bit about the musical tattoos on her hands. Just kind and sincere. Incredibly diligent service. At no time was I in need of anything. Waters were kept full, table kept cleared, food served exactly on time. It's a well oiled machine underneath the vibrant atmosphere. The food was spectacular. The ambience was one of a kind. A feast at every level. Well that was not the case for the two other dishes we ordered. There was no remaking or comping. I had to season the dish on the table. On top of that, my daughter let the server know that she had peanut allergies. When one of the sides were served, there were peanuts on it. My daughter saw it and avoided it, but the server did not tell the kitchen to not put peanuts on it or warn us about it. He later on came to say oh I forgot to tell you that there's peanuts on this dish. There was no damage done. But there could be.
