They were supposed to come once a month to check for pests and deal with them. Unfortunately, they do not seem to have enough techs to service all their customers. They "cancelled" the second monthly service without informing us. When we asked when they would be out to spray for ants they said we were not covered for ants. This is not what we were told when we spoke to the salesman. For $175 a month you would expect the most destructive pest would be covered. I can't recommend this company.

When he comes he brings a tank on a separate trailer that must have 200 gallons of chemical in it. We have a 4 month old puppy who is into everything and started licking/chewing the baseboards near where ants were prevalent indoors. When I called, Stephanie was less than professional and seemed annoyed that I had concerns. No matter what I said, she dismissed me, argued at every turn, and didn't apologize until I told her how frustrating the conversation had been as a concerned parent. Even then, her apology was "I'm sorry ma'am. I do understand but like I said...." She just kept reiterating "Ma'am (condescendingly) baseboard treatment is standard with all of our visits." Mind you, we've never had baseboards treated before this visit. Treatment has always been on the exterior and they've only ever iterated that kids and pets be kept indoors. Stephanie said the stuff he was putting down inside was the same as what he put outside (bifen) when I called back this morning because my puppy was vomiting and refusing food. After speaking with Jose and describing to him (as I tried to do with Stephanie) what I saw the technician use, he said it wasn't bifen but was likely gel bait (not at all what is used outside.) I was going back and forth with the vet and DeBug all morning trying to figure out how emergent the situation was and when I finally was able to speak with Jose, he helped calm my fears and let me know what the product actually was and how the call should have been handled. I do appreciate his professionalism and approach to feedback from a customer. As I told Stephanie, I was trying to work toward a solution and share my frustration as a mom of young children and dogs. I am unsure if we will be continuing service because, although Jose handled things well, Stephanie is the main point of contact it seems and needs more training or a spa day before she interacts with worried customers again. The screenshot I've included is an example of how the phone conversation went as well. Weird (inaccurate) responses and entirely missing the point of what I was asking. For what it's worth, our puppy is alive and well, eating again and no longer vomiting, so that's a relief.

He correctly identified all the problem areas and alleviated a lot of my stress by giving me the clear no pressure options for treatment. We decided to go with his company for this treatment, not just because his pricing was very competitive with others, but because when I call the number, I speak directly to him ... not some call center. I wish the previous owners of this house had treated for termites years ago. We have to replace the main beam in the basement ($6,000) and who knows what other damage they've done to the sills around the perimeter. I definitely recommend you call Kevin and get a termite inspection done. The only reason I found them was from doing some serious demolition of the basement ceilings and walls. He'll be able to identify termites and possibly save you thousands in repairs if you treat it early. I also like that he doesn't work with the termite baits. I don't want to pay someone to come pound sticks into the ground and hope the termites find the bait. He feels the same way, and assured me that Termidor is the most effective method to eliminate the colonie(s). We had the inspection done Monday 07/22/2012, and we scheduled the treatment (pending weather) for 07/31/2012.
