Menu are now QR code but you can ask for a paper menu if you needed. Got some new things to try as well as some old favorite: - Laos sausage - get it with sticky rice. There's spicy and non-spicy. Both tastes great - they got a noodle version that's a thick udon like similar to banh canh in Vietnam which is great. - asparagus in snow and fried vegetables are also a great treat. But I prefer the asparagus as the fried veggies feel more oily. - duck curry was also really good, we ask for banh mi to eat with curry and was accommodated - nem nuong was also an epic dish, with tons of veggies to eat along Service is ok, they try their best. I asked for Thai ice tea without the cream - because I just want tea and they were not able to make it, it's very sweet

I work down the street and have been coming here for years. Honestly can't believe why it's taken me so long to write this review. I've had a variety of dishes on the menu from pad Thai, curries, anything you can think of. It all tastes amazing. The prices here are impeccable as well. Where else can you find full dishes for dinner that comes with rice for only $15? Their Thai tea and limeade are also impressive. Vohns staff also are very kind, accommodating, and offer prompt service. I've never met the manager but I've seen him interact well with other guests. This is definitely a must try restaurant!

We had a Double order of Cánh Gà Chiên (chicken wings) - half spicy and half sticky Thai - delicious! The service was excellent and the cozy, bustling space still supported audible table chat. The place is a little dark but service was friendly. Nice menu with variety. We primarily came for the pho. They have several options as well as regular, large, and some XL options. Broth was mediocre at best. We ordered the dac biet and it came with a good amount of meat and tendon. But I wish the broth was heartier. We also ordered the steamed noodle vermicelli that comes with rice paper to wrap. That was good! It's like make your own spring rolls- rice paper, meat and vegetables to wrap up, and a nice dipping sauce.

We've been here many times and it was good, but were pleasantly surprised to find out that it is better!! In my experience, restaurants are generally broken down into 3 categories as time passes: maintain quality, lower quality and improve their quality. Most are in the maintain quality camp, but I will give them a round of applause for getting better. The food: the Bahn Mi bread had a crispy exterior while having a soft center. The veggies were super fresh and flavorful. Everything came together perfectly! The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was bold, sweet and very craveworthy. The staff were very nice and theres definitely room to eat inside, but I wanted to take these back home so I can make an absolute beautiful mess of the crispy, flakey Bahn Mi Bread. Everyone agreed that our dinners were delicious and we all took our leftovers home. Drinks and food were very reasonably priced. They also appear to do a great take out business. For food, we loved the shrimp rockets and Spicy Hue Bowl/ Bun Bo Hue; the Bun Bo Hue was perfectly spicy, flavorful, and contained a decent amount of meat compared to some other Pho places I have been to. Overall, Pho Sure is great for a casual dinner with friends or a date, and I will definitely be returning again!

But this restaurant is definitely worth checking it out as it has a decent selection to order. I had Bun Bo Hue and my friend had #75 Crab Noodle Soup with Water Spinach. Bun Bo Hue was not spicy, was on the sweeter side, but it was flavorful! I ate my vermicelli noodles with peanut sauce & called it a day. There was also no shrimp (despite the description clearly stating chicken AND shrimp) in my fresh rolls. I wonder if they ran out. We ate in, it was quite comfortable, with 2 or 3 small tables. I did get an actual metal fork. Onto the food: I had the lemongrass steak rice bowl, which came with a small cup of sauce. The beef was delicious and the vegetables (cucumbers, carrots, lettuce) were fresh and excellent. Unfortunately, the rice was not. It appeared that the rice had been leftover in the fridge -- it was very very hard and clumpy (could not break it up with a fork). It was all at the bottom of the bowl so I could not mix it together. Basically I ended up with lemongrass beef salad. Tasted good, but disappointed about the rice. My husband had one of the banh mi sandwiches. He was impressed by the amount of meat, and it tasted good. He said the bread was somewhat stale, but it was just before closing so probably understandable. Overall I think this would be a better lunch option, but I'm willing to try it again. Hopefully the rice issue was a one-off.

Pho 89 has a ton of great dishes to choose from, some more and less exotic than others, and the food is always of good quality. The staff here is super friendly, service is quick, and everything is always tasteful. I've had various versions of their pho, as well as their Goi Cuon Tom Thit (fresh spring rolls with pork and shrimp) and both of them were incredible. The large bowl of pho is more than enough to feed one, and it comes in tasty bone broth, with noodles, and a large side plate of bean sprouts, lime, basil, and chili oil on the side. The fresh spring rolls with pork and shrimp were even better I'd say. Their favor was incredible, and the peanut sauce they're served with is one of the best peanut sauces I've had in years. The pork chop was a bit tougher than I'm used to and I did not like the pork skin, but the lemongrass chicken was juicy and tender. Just keep in mind that it takes 15-20 minutes to prepare the chicken dish. The service is quick and friendly and they have a button you can press in order to get the waiter's attention even though they're always walking around anyway. Overall a solid spot for Viet food in an area loaded with good Viet places. I'm going to have to give the pork chop another try because it's typically one of my favorites.
