I mean, how different can it be from all the other Chinese spots in RI? Oh, it's VERY different. They offer these delicious Sichuan Raviolis under Appetizers, which are filled with ground meat and served with spicy peanut sauce--yum! Also, they have Shrimp dumpling soup. The prices are very reasonable, whereas other Chinese takeout spots tend to charge an average of $2 more per item. However, the customer service could be improved. But, I say that with a grain of salt because if you are getting food from a mostly takeout place, you should really judge the business by the quality of the food and the price. It was def a Chinese take away night today! Went with something I don't usually order, General Tso Chicken. I'm usually a sweet & sour die hard fan, but not tonight, fancied a change and I wasn't disappointed! They've recently added to the staff, and one of the newer employees made an excellent recommendation. She told me to mix the duck sauce with their homemade mustard, for something a little sweet but packs a lot of punch, for the spring rolls! So good! This is the highest rated Chinese food place in my area, on Yelp, so I decided to give it a try. I have mixed feelings. The sweet and sour chicken is good. The large comes with plenty of mini chicken fingers (almost like poppers) that were nicely cooked tempura as expected. Plenty of sauce on the side and came with white rice (or brown). The boneless spare ribs are fine, a little stringy, maybe slightly dry, but adequate. The beef teriyaki was decent, the teriyaki sauce is different than I've ever had, a little tangy... almost like a bbq and A1 sauce mixed with soy sauce. Not bad. But at first was def like "huh." The pork fried rice again was adequate. I've had better, probably had worse? It's fine. The crab rangoons were not great. And usually people complain about the filling, the inside was totally good. The shells are yellow, smooth, and they lay flat. Not like the thinner, crispier, almost dog-eared ones you'll find elsewhere. It just made them too bland and chewy. Delivery was pretty fast (around 35-ish minutes). It's ok food, definitely good not great. I'd have given 4 stars, (really 3.5), but they forgot my drink. I always have had good experiences ordering from here for lunch. My coworker always gets the house lomein with an egg roll and he seems to love it. I tried the lomein and it was pretty good but I wish there was more vegetables in it since it is house. I normally get different things but the egg Foo Yung never disappoints besides the gravy and the sezhuan dumplings are absolutely amazing. Drove down here from our mini visit in Boston. Came here about 10 pm on late Sunday night. As we walked in, a group of four children was eating right in front of the door. The two teenager approached us , led us to the table. Menu is like a hardcover brown sturdy type. We asked the server whether the food portion was enough for small children if we order one. We eventually ordered, Pad Thai, Boneless Spare Ribs combination A1,A2 and A3 Chicken Fingers as well as Wonton Egg Soup. Prices were reasonable. 8.50 for the basic combo with big portion. Fantastic experience. I've been here a few times since they've opened. The latest was for lunch (take out) today. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is warm and friendly everytime! The food is always fresh, looks great, and is delicious. Today was the first time I took my food to go... they include a little packet with a utensil, napkin, sauce, etc. Nice touch. I called and stated that they forgot them, I literally live 2 minutes away and tipped her $11 this lady who is definitely American catches an additude because I said it was a simple order how do you forget a whole item?! she proceeds to tell me she didn't bag it and it'll be an hour to get them! fyi this is what you tell people that live far, word of mouth is a great thing! This is our favorite take out place for Chinese food. When getting Chinese take out, finding the right balance between convenience and taste is key. We tip the scale a little bit on convenience just to get this take out. By that I mean we pass by about 4 other Chinese take out places on our way just to get food from here. And yes we have tried all of the other places, we were just so impressed with Pacific Asian, we have never gone back to the other restaurants. We have ordered noodle dishes, many of their appetizers, rice, and chicken. After eating their food we have never felt greasy or gross. They give generous portions, reasonable prices and a majority of their dishes they put in plastic reusable containers, perfect for heating up leftovers in. We have never gotten delivery from here, only take out, so I can not comment on the delivery aspect, but take out is always pretty quick and the person on the phone is always pleasant and double checks your order. I really like that when we go and pick up our food and we look into the kitchen everything looks clean and staff looks happy. One time we even called before they were open in hopes of being able to order something early and pick up a little after they were open. They promptly picked up, accepted my order. They did warn me that they were still preparing for the day. When we showed up, they had it ready for me, no problem! We will continue to pass the other places to specifically go here. read more

New to Woonsocket inna Bucket, naturally the first thing 'lil ole Marlena does is immediately check out her Chinese options. Still learning the nooks and cranies of the area, I happened to literally stumble upon Pacific Asian one early morning upon opening my apartment door (yay for doorknob menus). With a pretty large and interesting menu as well as the option to order online for a discount, it took about five minutes to figure out dinner that evening. Since that faithful encounter, Pacific RI's become our main Chinese 'livery preference. Amazingly delicious beef with broccoli: tangy, perfect sauce and the broccoli is always fresh. Their white rice is seriously banging (crack?), pad thai off the hook (crack?) and their beef lo mien chopstick lickin' good. Their basil chicken is chest hair spicy but so tasty I -will- eat the entire container in one serving. Better load up on Suboxone here folks, cause their eats are eventually sending my Chinese grubbin' booty to rehab. The price is always right as well: I especially appreciate the online coupon codes and super quick service. I really do quite recommend trying them 100% especially if you're looking for something a bit different than the usual, standard menu. I don't get it, the food didn't do the restaurant name justice. A lot of better reviews on this site, but perhaps many have never eaten outside of Woonsocket? Sweet and sour soup too thick, wonton soup plenty to eat but very predictable and boring, gross dark filling in wontons (how do you mess these up?), just use pure pork, chicken or a combination, also need to finish the soup with BBQ pork, bean sprouts and maybe shredded chicken (and scallions or cilantro, the latter is better) as it would be just fine to cut back on all the wontons. A drop of sesame oil also makes this very exotic. Before I go on there are two choices on prices, 1 pint and 1 qt. In any event the price on the pint assumes you get a nourishing meal? I did not. Beef curry with onions should be called curried onions with beef. The beef portion was microscopic, I would guess less than 2 oz. It was so packed with onions that it was grotesque. They should use quality flank steak, not cheaper beef and some better vegetables (and more sauce). Would much rather pay more for quality. BTW the sauce was only tinted with curry powder....they could have used a curry paste as well, perhaps some coconut milk, etc, etc Steamed rice was a good portion and very good Spring Rolls, boring. If your going to make it it should not taste like a frozen product Shrimp with snow peas? What kind of dish is this, sauce , preparation, etc? First of all a portion of 5 decent sized "dry packed" (no Tri-phosphorylates) shrimp, but during this dish I was choking on snow peas, so much I had to dig around for the shrimp. Sauce? Could not tell what it was, as it tasted like nothing. Just no cooking finesse at all, like army food from the 60's. At least theme the dish. Sauteed Shrimp with Ginger, Garlic, Coconut, Snow Peas, Cilantro and Sprouts. Pai Thai? No finesse at all, sort of gross. Over cooked, too wet with sauce, too dark and too strong? I ordered a combination of chicken and shrimp. So they had to charge me $2.00 extra? Not sure for what because there was very little shrimp and chicken in the dish. I was very disappointed because we went there based on Yelp reviews. Will not come back. I think the Asian restaurant next to the Woonsocket Stop and Shop may be better (eaten soup there twice, but not perfect), but nothing beats the Asian Buffet restaurant in Attleboro by the fresh fish market that closed because of landlord problems. They prepared everything with balance, harmony and superior quality. I am still depressed about this jewel that closed. You know what? In general restaurants have really stepped up their game and the majority of credible places, mostly in the cities do very well. Asian (Chinese, etc) restaurants have stood still serving the same old food from 50 years ago? can anyone step up? Best Chinese in my opinion! Service is always amazing, very accommodating and very quick. The food tops that! Always fresh, hot, and tasty. The price is reasonable, I usually get a few items and never spend more than $20, which is great. Some good things to try there: the coconut shrimp, its lightly battered, and the sauce is to die for. The Sesame chicken is flavorful and they give you a large portion. The Vegetable lo mein and the fried rice are both very tasty as well, some of my favorite noodles. Prices are very fair I think and better than most out there. Food was good and some of the best fried rice and boneless ribs I have had before. Weren't over cooked or chewy like many do. Both times I have ordered from here I went with a cup of the hot and sour soup and their combination plate (both times the General). There hot and sour soup was pretty good, it had a nice flavor but was a little too thick. The egg roll tasted great and was not super greasy. The fried rice had a nice flavor, it was not burnt or oily. The General was delicious.What more could you ask for? All in all, it is a great take out Chinese restaurant if you want a huge portion of solid Chinese food for not alot of money then this is your place. The menu seemed good, prices reasonable, staff friendly and the restaurant was clean and organized. I was even excited that they had Bubble Tea! I lived next door to Great Taste in Cumberland and before it changed to new owners it was pretty good. With the new owners the food is really bad. So I was in search for another good Chinese restaurant and stumbled across Pacific Asian. Boy was it a pleasant surprise! My girlfriend at the time was from Taiwan and the young lady that runs it would talk in Chinese every time we went. As my G/F would say, for American style Chinese this place is very good. I've only gotten take out from here, but damn hats some good Chinese food. It tastes very fresh and homemade, the colors of the veggies is bright, there's a crisp texture, and the tofu is always perfectly cooked. The sauces have actual flavor profiles rather than everything tasting the same which can happen at other Asian cuisine places. The staff are sweet and friendly. It's definitely an excellent restaurant, one of the best in this area. The inside is causal so I could see having a relaxing lunch or fun dinner with friends out at a place like this. Pretty good. Let me start, Asia Grille is my fav Chinese. Trying new places for delivery that can at least get close to that level. Got S&S Chicken, Crab Rangoons, Pork Fried Rice. Chicken was awesome. Instead of fingers, they are battered chunks. Perfectly cooked and nice taste. The sauce was standard. Rangoons were different but good. Looked like empanadas, filled with cream cheese and scallions(not very crabby). The fried rice was not so good. Weird type of rice and flavor was meh, with big chunks of onions. $22. Lunch specials include soup or egg roll and I get the egg roll but it seems there always oily and the middle will be little soggy.i think Ill be getting the soup from now on. Excellent deals on lunch specials and they're willing to make your rice w/o veggies (Some places WON'T aka it's not fresh). They're always very nice, the amount of food you get to $ you pay is very fair. Oh and you get reusable containers! Much better, environmental, and healthier for you than Styrofoam.
