The proprietor was kind and attentive. Told us which dishes were ideally suited for no spice for the littles. She also let us know about a community event a block down. Hot basil stir fry had reasonable spice (which is to say that it actually had some bite). We also got tamarind duck and a beef stir fry with no spice... Flavors seemed a bit americanized, which isnt our cup of tea.

I've stopped in twice now and both times were great. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely with a large bar and plenty of tables. Our waitress is always pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. On this trip I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu and it was another great dish. My food came out much quicker than my significant others which made for that awkward "no, go ahead and eat" moments. But ultimately all our dishes came out at an appropriate time. The tofu I felt was a little chewy but everything else was amazing. The noodles were perfectly spiced and the vegetables added a nice freshness and bite. I'd definitely recommend Thai Spicy to anyone that wants to try some great Thai foo!

I work down the street and have been coming here for years. Honestly can't believe why it's taken me so long to write this review. I've had a variety of dishes on the menu from pad Thai, curries, anything you can think of. It all tastes amazing. The prices here are impeccable as well. Where else can you find full dishes for dinner that comes with rice for only $15? Their Thai tea and limeade are also impressive. Vohns staff also are very kind, accommodating, and offer prompt service. I've never met the manager but I've seen him interact well with other guests. This is definitely a must try restaurant!

Menu are now QR code but you can ask for a paper menu if you needed. Got some new things to try as well as some old favorite: - Laos sausage - get it with sticky rice. There's spicy and non-spicy. Both tastes great - they got a noodle version that's a thick udon like similar to banh canh in Vietnam which is great. - asparagus in snow and fried vegetables are also a great treat. But I prefer the asparagus as the fried veggies feel more oily. - duck curry was also really good, we ask for banh mi to eat with curry and was accommodated - nem nuong was also an epic dish, with tons of veggies to eat along Service is ok, they try their best. I asked for Thai ice tea without the cream - because I just want tea and they were not able to make it, it's very sweet
