    Pizza

Strolling through the streets of Sydney and happened to find this langway with the pizza stop. It was lunch time and many workers stopped in for a pie. The pizza is thin crust. We had spicy salami and mushroom so so good. We truly enjoyed the experience.

Over for work and in the mood for some decent pizza, this place fitted me the bill perfectly. Thanks to directions from yelpers it was easy enough to locate. The service was quick and polite which I appreciated. Pizza was on the upper end of the scale. Not the top 5% but definitely the top ten. Atmosphere was great. Highly recommended.

Really nice Italian style pizza. Thin crusts, and quality ingredients and toppings. The location is very convenient, right near Wynyard station (but located in a back alley). There is a dine in section next door with a bar which is nice, but at times it can be quite busy/full. You can dine on the street and sit on milk crates for the 'original' experience. Service is nice and friendly

    Amazing secret pizza...

Location: amazing how something so good is hidden in the back streets of sydney, york lane hides made in Italy down its narrow street. Food: the pizza was actually one the best I've ever tasted.. A big 5 stars!

It's so close to my workplace, and I only noticed it about two weeks ago. Waiting almost half an hour is quite annoying for a quick lunch. However, the pizza is very nice. Simple and quality ingredients, the tropicale I ordered is covered with large pieces of ham which makes it a bit salty to me. Apart from that, I really enjoyed it.

Great pizzas for a tiny place in the laneway! Thin crispy base and tasty toppings, perfect for an indulgent cheat meal after a tough day at work. Prices are a little steep for pizzas in a laneway sitting on milk crates ($22 for a large gourmet).

One of the best pasta and pizzas I've ever eaten. The chef Ivana is Italian so you can be sure you get authentic Italian food. Awesome!

My friends took me here on my last day in Sydney, and it was the perfect farewell brunch!…read more There was a festive menu at the time that we dined, and it was great! 3 courses for $40AUD (or 2 courses for $35AUD), you know I had to get the 3 courses! For Starters, I got the Ora King Smoked Salmon Pate. For my Mains, I got Primavera Ravioli. For dessert, I got the Jamie's Black Forest Panna Cotta. Everything was soooo good! The ambiance was chic & cute, and the server was great! I honestly felt like I was back in the US for some reason!

I've been to Australia 3 times and 2 of those visits brought me to this establishment. My first…read morevisit was memorably bad. I couldn't recall the details but I remember not being a fan. My second and most recent visit helped extinguish that memory. Our waitress was very lively and sweet. She gave us plenty of time to look over our menus and made solid recommendations. I ordered the Spaghetti Alla Norma and it was pretty tasty. I also sampled some of the polenta chips which were surprisingly good. We opted to get dessert elsewhere but overall the food was pretty good. I'd like this place more if the prices were a little lower and they had more basic pastas available. I'm not a fan of seafood or mushrooms and can't handle spicy so I felt a little limited...although the pumpkin ravioli was tempting. Next time!

On Macquarie Street next door to the Land & Environment Court and across the road from the NSW Parliament. When you get to the Macquarie Street entrance walk down the stairs. You will be greeted by a friendly maître d and a similar layout to its Italian brother on Bridge Street. There is a bar and restaurant (Café Sopra) which offers delicious meals made with fresh ingredients. No fresh produce available at this Fratelli's. The restaurant was buzzing with suits. Which was to be expected due to its central business location! Loved the green chesterfield style seating and dim lighting. The service was great with our waiter being very attentive even with the a full restaurant. Could not fault our visit. Will be coming back here again and again.

To start we got the zucchini fritters, burrata, and the cold meats plate. All very tasty. Then for mains i got the pork sausage pizza - i thought it was ok, hardly much pork on the pizza. I got to sample a few other pastas such as the lamb raguy and the polenta with mushrooms and gorgonzola - the polenta was very good! Lots of sauce and went really well with the polenta. For wine we tried the fratelli fresh pino grigio and it had more of a sharp after taste. Overall, I thought the food was good, I enjoyed all the entree's and the other mains except mine.
