After I explained exactly what I wanted to have done, they asked if they could make a couple of suggestions. I said "of course" and they had a couple great ideas that we incorporated into the plans. I received a detailed bid that night. I awarded R A Works the contract about a week later and they put me in the que for mid-May (we were in early April at the time). Four days later they reached out on a Sunday night and said they had a window for the next day and inquired if that was acceptable. I said "yes" and they were at the house the next morning at 7am. As they were framing for the pour, they called me outside with another suggested design change. My wife thought it was great and thanked them for the suggestion. They explained exactly what they were going to do and went to great lengths with their heavy equipment to avoid any damage to the lawn and village sidewalks. The pour went as planned and the final product looks absolutely great - 1st class workmanship. When they returned to remove the framework, they backfilled with dirt around the sidewalk and cleaned up the entire area. Great experience. After meeting with Jim he gave me his honest opinion on what I wanted and then explained his ideas for my garage. After a little hesitation on my part and a couple changes to Jim's ideas we went with his recommendation and could not be happier. The quality of his work and craftsmanship is incredible and believe me I notice everything. Everyday during the construction from the grading, concrete, electrical, framing, roof, siding and trim work Jim was here making sure everything was perfect and we were happy. We also had Jim open up the back wall of our current attached garage and add a garage door to make it a drive thru garage.
