Our very first time at a Zaxby's restaurant. It was very clean in the dining room. Order at the counter. The service was quick and our food was hot. We tried the Ranch Chicken Quesadilla and it was plentiful! The French fries were tasty with seasoning sprinkled on them. Coca Cola Freestyle machine was available. We were generally pleased with the food as it was not greasy at all. We would definitely come back when traveling through Georgia. read more

Stopped while driving to Florida for a lunch break. Not a good start when going to the men's room and the soap dispenser is laying in the sink. So I am not quite sure how the staff is washing their hands let alone the customers. Told the staff when I was ordering and it took two of them over 10 minutes to get the dispenser refilled. Soda machine was out of commission so you are limited by what the drive thru soda machine has. Service was okay and food was the only bright side to this store. Disappointed by the Lack of Professionalism Our visit to this Zaxby's started off on a great note. We arrived at 9:15 PM and were pleased with the initial service--ordering was quick, and our food was ready by 9:23 PM. The meal itself was good. However, the experience quickly went downhill when we realized the cookies from our order were missing. We sent our child to ask about them and were told it would be about 15 minutes. After we finished eating, he went to check again and was given the same response: they still weren't ready. We waited longer and eventually went to the counter, only to witness staff laughing at our kids while acknowledging that the cookies hadn't even been put in to bake yet. At this point, we had been waiting over 45 minutes. My father had to get a staff member's attention, who then passed the issue off to someone else. Instead of offering a resolution upfront, we overheard one employee question the other with, "You didn't even offer a replacement?"--clearly indicating the situation wasn't handled properly. Even more frustrating, they went to the back only to return while laughing and checking their phones. Eventually, they offered six cookies "for the wait," but by then, it was 10:30 PM--over an hour after we ordered. This experience was extremely disappointing. What began as a good first impression ended with poor follow-through, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior from the staff. It's unfortunate, because the food and initial service showed promise--but the way this situation was handled made it unlikely we'll return to this location. read more

We ordered drive through. At the window they asks us to pull up to wait for our food. We have been waiting for 30 minutes. 5 cars behind us have been served and left. I can't even give a zero rating. We waited 40 minutes for 2 small meals. Several people came in, placed their order, then they got their food in 5 minutes while we sat there waiting and looking stupid. Not a single person in there was professional except for an elderly lady. A lady came in on her cellphone and didn't even speak and she got an order, I'm guessing it was one of the cook's mother. I've been to many Zaxby's, it's one of my favorite fast food options. Stopped here on New Year's Day, at noon, on my drive home from Florida. The drive-thru line was somewhat long and I needed a "break" so parked and went inside. There were a few people in line inside as well, and only one clerk running the registers and passing out orders. There were at least four people cooking and it looked like two running the drive-through. I eventually placed my simplest ever order then ran to the restroom. Not surprisingly there was a line there too. When I came back and I still had to wait a bit for my 1 Nibbler. Took it to go. It wasn't quite as tasty as usual, but it was OK. Was traveling from Jacksonville back to TN and stopped in this Zaxby's off I75 exit 82 in Georgia and without question the Number 1, not even close the WORST Zaxby's I have ever been in. Zaxby's corporate office should go down there and inspect and probably shut down the owner/operator of this location. The staff were all clowning around and I made the mistake of trying to use the restroom. It smelled so bad I backed out. The food was just okay. Counter person was very nice and patient. This restaurant's ambiance looks like an older establishment but I don't think anyone is going for the ambiance. We stopped for food to eat while driving home at night. Food order was correct and quick. Bathrooms definitely needed more frequent servicing. The food here is good but they need to step up their service. Not enough people working and the crowds get unmanageable. Having one soda machine is also untenable die to people not knowing how to work the complicated selection of sodas through a touchscreen interface. I suffered watching some senior citizens really struggle trying to get their drink. They really need to install the second machine in all locations. This was the first time I have ever been to a Zaxby's And I was extremely disappointed. It is basically just another fast food chicken place. The chicken tenders were bland and over done KFC or Chick-fil-A are much better. The cole slaw was ok but still a step below KFC . However the grilled chicken sandwich was excellent. This location was busy and slow. They seemed very chaotic and unorganized. The Coke freestyle machine was out of half of the selections. This place was hopping at lunchtime on a Monday. Located right off the highway, we stopped in to grab a bite. We had never been to a Zaxby's before and wanted to give one a try. My first impression was that it seemed a bit dirty and dark. It took me a while to decide on what to order since it was all new to me. I decided to get the six piece chicken finger plate and split it with my hubby. Besides the chicken fingers it came with fries and coleslaw. The chicken fingers were good. They were cooked nicely with a crisp coating and plenty of still moist meat. I thought the Zaxby's sauce was not very good. Kind of a Russian dressing vibe. Should have opted for something different. The coleslaw was quite tasty. The French fries were only okay. I ordered the food for take out since we were traveling with the dog and didn't want to leave him in the car. There wasn't any outdoor seating so we sat on the curb and ate. I would highly suggest that they put in some outdoor seating. I stopped in here on the way home from visiting family in Atlanta. This is the first time I have been to this location, but I have visited other locations. I usually order the chicken fingers meal. On this visit, I decided to order the new Chipotle sandwich that Zaxby's is promoting. The young ladies working the counter were friendly and helpful. As for the kitchen, there were several people working, but my order took nearly fifteen minutes. The Chipotle sandwich was good and hot, as well as the French fries. But the side of French fries was rather on the small side. The dining room is kept clean, but the men's (roosters) bathroom was out of toilet paper. And the toilet was backed up as well. As I was getting ready to leave, there were several people standing around waiting for their order. I understand that it was busy, being dinnertime, but the space in the entrance/counter area is small and cramp. Which makes it difficult to get a refill of your beverage or for patrons entering or leaving. As I was leaving, I held the door open for a young mother leaving behind me. Carrying her little girl in her arms, she thanked me and made her way to the parking lot while her daughter smiled and waved to me as I made my way to the car. After a bad start to my trip back home, that really made my day. As for this Zaxby's, the food was good. But the wait time for meals ordered needs improvement. The dining area is kept clean, but the bathrooms need to be better maintained. No, no, no. We forgot this was the restaurant that we had been to before. We entered the restaurant and there was a wait, so we decided to go to the bathroom first. We got back to the front of the restaurant and the family who was there when we entered was still there waiting to order and the same people were waiting for their food. After another two minutes without anyone ordering or getting food, we left. Previous review - Zaxby's is our fast food exception when we travel in the south. Usually, the employees are friendly and the restaurants are typically clean. This counter employee seemed to not want to be there. My wife placed a pickup order for me today because I needed to go in and get my food and then jet to work around the corner. I didn't have to tell my wife what to order because she knows what I get from Zaxby's and she has ordered it several times. I know the employee that took my order screwed up because of one crucial detail: coleslaw. I do not eat it. I don't like it. I would never order it and I know my wife would never order that. My wife even texted me on the way before I picked it up and said that the person taking the order seemed to be confused. Yeah, she was definitely confused. I got a large chicken finger plate with 2 ranch and 2 tongue torch in place of the regular Zax sauce. I usually get extra bread in place of the coleslaw. Instead I got two ranch and a single tongue torch and a coleslaw instead of anything else. The food wasn't all that hot, either. The girl that took my order didn't know how to process the pickup order and then didn't know how to process my gift card (admittedly she was new and that is completely excusable). Either way I had no time to correct my order and explain why it was wrong, so I grabbed a sweet tea with lemonade and left. I'll be back and I sure hope my next experience is better. read more

Stopped here on our drive from MN to FL for a bite to eat. Service was what you'd expect, the food was pretty okay. Their honey mustard dipping sauce was really good. The bathroom was exceptionally clean which is always a huge plus and shows that the store was taken care of. At the same time, I'm knocking some stars off because it was really dark and the food itself was nothing special. There also didn't seem to be any light options (not very important to us, but everything seemed to be a fried option, even their "zalads"). It's not a bad chain, just not my kind of chain. read more

Decided to stop for dinner on our way to Florida for Thanksgiving. Having eaten at other Zaxbys locations before, I figured our experience would be fairly consistent with others. Not so much. The extremely rude girl that took our order looked as though we were inconveniencing her. I asked for the chicken fingers meal (you know the one that is all over the walls in pics and the most popular). She said they didn't have it anymore, even after I pointed to the exact item on the menu. Not sure if she couldn't find it on the computer or what but she was clearly in no mood to help any further.
