The food was excellent and the portions were perfect! I was seated as soon as I walked through the door and within 15 seconds I was greeted by my server. This is as close to authentic Mexican as I can know... the restaurant was clean and roomy. My wife and I come here a lot . We live just a few blocks away . The food is good and the servers and cashiers are friendly and nice . The atmosphere is good , kinda cozy vibe . Visiting the area. First time here. They only serve beer that sucks.. asked for a margarita answer was no. Only beer and soft drinks Highly disappointed first visit and last On top of no alcohol the food was less than bland. We ordered fajitas for two with shrimp Chicken and steak. Absolutely no flavor. Tasted as if they grilled everything separately and put it on a plate . No seasoning on the meat at all. The refried beans were running as if they had been watered down. Ordered the cheese. Very very soupy as if it had also been watered down . Rice was without flavor I eat Mexican often high end spots and local spots. I have never had a bad experience. This was the worst. read more

We were passing thru on our way to Florida and stopped in Cordele. Quite a number of chains there, but we prefer something with a local flavor. Unfortunately, as other have noted, the food was rather bland (we both ordered the enchiladas). And I have never seen refried served like this before - they were soupy with no texture. The best part of the meal was the chips and salsa. And the interior looked rather run down; particularly the ceilings. read more

The salsa was great, but it quickly went down hill from there. Since the first time I ordered chicken fajita nachos over 30 years ago, it's been my go-to at mexican restaurants (if offered), and this was no exception. I've ordered this dish from many different states all across the country, and it's only been significantly different a couple of times. This variation wasn't bad, but there was something different about the cheese. The cheese just kind of seemed cheap, didn't have much flavor, and was a little hard. The atmosphere and decor were typical of a Mexican restaurant in this region of the United States. My server was a tentative, and the food came out quickly. Have been eating here a little while, it's been decent besides the service. Some of the waiters/waitresses really don't care and you have to call out to them to get a refill when they rush by. Otherwise youll just be left alone till they're ready to hand you the bill. Today we ordered a big order to go for the family. Five people with different entrees. I called it in. Specifically ordered guacamole on the side for the quesadillas we had. No guacamole when I got all the way home. No guacamole on one of the salads that come with the burritos. I'm from South Texas originally, and I have to say, this Mexican Food is pretty dang Good for South Georgia. Though this is not Tex- Mex food, it's still a great representation of Mexican American Food. The menu is large and the options are amazing. I usually judge my Mexican food on how well the rice is made, it is the easiest side in Mexican palate, and it was really great! I love the variety of beer they have and this place is very clean. Sevice is outstanding. Restrooms are small but who cares at this point, as long as they function properly. All In all, all the major points were met.. Food/service/cleanliness... All met and exceeded my expectations. This place gets a five star without a doubt. So this place is pretty decent for a Mexican restaurant in South Georgia. They are pretty tolerant with me picking and choosing from the menu when I go. And the food is more authentic than other Mexican restaurants here in town. They keep the place clean and the servers are pretty attentive. I had that tamale dinner. Those were quite possibly the best tamales I have ever eaten. I was worth the 45 minutes drive. My daughter went with me (she had seen the ad on TV). She is usually a picky eater. She had the taco dinner and nearly cleaned her plate. There was a wait because they were very busy, but the service was good and the prices were reasonable. We are from Wisconsin and just passing thru, so I fired up the TripAdvisor app. This place had great reviews, so we decided to try it out. Use your GPS, or you will not find this place. Chips and salsa usually give you a good impression on how the food will be and it's very good! I've gotten chicken fajitas 3 times and the Pollo Asada 3 times now and haven't had a bad experience yet. My husband has enjoyed their tamales and my girls the tacos. This is a favorite for the locals. If you only like tacos and burritos go to Taco Bell. But if you love fajitas, taquitos, tacos el pastor, tacos al carbon, and other more traditional Mexican dishes then this is the place. This place is in a run down strip mall a couple of miles off I-75. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday and the place was not at all busy. The staff promptly greeted us, seated us and brought drinks and chips. The house salsa is spicy. My wife ordered steak tacos and I ordered grilled chicken tacos a la carte. The guacamole was lame, obviously not fresh. They did not have any fresh cilantro. The tacos were adequate, and unremarkable. The staff is friendly, the food is not quite average. We came from out of town and were looking for a place to eat after a 15 hour car ride, this was perfect. Two of us had steak nachos which were great- although, they were large enough for two share.
