Jeez this was an experience. Decor is a little bland, but overall nice. The service was fast even on a holiday weekend, the food was good, The staff was quick when the drink machine was out of drinks, and it was a plus that the fries were seasoned well compared to other zaxby's. Do not buy the funnel cake they bait & switch. They show you a big picture of it but when you get it you need a magnifying glass to see it. Not worth the $3.49 they charge. Better off going to Aldi to get it and making your own cheaper then Zaxbys. read more

I'm usually not a big proponent of chain fast food places, but Zaxby's in a true exception. I only wish there were locations around Ohio. They're more a southern thing, so you can bet that whenever I'm in their territory, I'm going! Possibly the best chicken fingers I've ever had... Wait! Chicken have fingers? But I digest... Any time my lady and I are in Augusta, GA (birthplace of the Godfather of soul himself, James Brown), we have to stop by here for a good lunch at least once. It's just good, classic comfort food, fast and at good prices. Call it a "Zax Attack"! We gotta have it! But they have more than just chicken fingers. They have wings, sandwiches, salads, and more. And don't forget their epic Zaxby's Sauce (Raising Cane's WISHES their stuff were THIS good)! The closest location to Cincinnati I've seen is around Louisville, KY, so a bit of a drive, bit if you find yourself in Zaxby's country, definitely give it a try. I haven't been to Zaxby's in a while & I know exactly why. My food was hot n fresh, it wasn't salty either (which tends to happen sometimes). The only complaint I had was their drink options. I'm not sure if they were unable to fix the machine or what. Anyway our only options were diet drinks, water, and sweet tea. I would have loved to have a Fanta with my meal, it just makes it taste better. This was the reason I gave this experience three stars instead of five. read more

Like chik fil a the had 2 lines and moved pretty decent through the drive thru but I got pulled up to the cone and given unsweetened tea instead of sweet, Diet Coke instead of Dr Pepper, 2 pc tender instead of 3, and 4 sauces when I ordered 5. When I got my food and checked the box (while at the window), I found that the two sauce packets had holes in the tops of them. I told the lady at the window to take them back and throw them away, and she told me "no". The gave me OPENED pockets of sauce and expected me to use them with my food! I don't know if they'd been contaminated or what! And then to refuse to throw them away? It was ridiculous and upsetting. AND the service was slow! Just about every car that ordered food had to pull over and wait! There were so many cars waiting that there wasn't a place for me to pull over, so I stayed at the window and waited. I was raised in Augusta, so when I come home to visit, Zaxby's is the first place I dine! Love the chicken tenders, the zaxby's sauce, seasoned fries and the texas toast. Made fresh when ordered. I make sure to stock up on the zaxby's sauce when I go back home to Cincinnati. Absolutely delicious! read more

I really enjoy Zaxby's, a lot! But the wait time in the drive thru line is unbelievable. People have parked and are reading the paper, we have been in the line that long. I don't know why it takes this long.Out of all Zaxby's in the area( they all have lines at times) this one I can't figure it out! Never the less the food was awesome! Salad was not fresh. I don't know why they were serving lettuce that was already browning. Also the drink machine was out of flavors and was in a terrible location. It was right next to the exit door, so if you were getting your drink, you block the exit for people coming in and out. This same door goes out in front of the drive-thru window, so try not to get run over. read more

This is the worst Zaxbys location in Augusta! I'm always having to send my food back to get seasoning on my fries, when i clearly state extra seasoning on my fries. The only reason I go to this one is because it's the closest to my boyfriends house. The employees are rude and un- attentive to the customers. The drink area is always filthy and the tea is hardly ever filled. On very rare days when i dont have to send my food back, it's good. I love Zaxbys. My favorite place to eat, just not this location! read more

This place is a mess. The floor is sticky, the food takes forever inside or in the drive through. One customer had to wait over 45 minutes for their order in the drive thru and the staff had the nerve to act irritated when they had to console the customer. Overall the food is good and standard for Zaxby's. Go to the one outside of Fort Gordon if you can for a much better experience. read more

I got to drive thru when there was no line all the way out to the busy main road. That never happens, so I thought it would be quick for once. Placed my order at the speaker w/o a problem. Drive to the window to pay and she gave me the receipt at 5:48. OMGOSH AFTER THAT I WAITED UNTIL 6:04 AT THE WINDOW! people behind me started to beep and cuss..I heard them since my window was down. By that time, the girl came back and told me to pull forward..(wow). Not even a full minute later, someone brings my order out. 6:05 @ this point. She has to go back and bring the drink I wasnt given for my meal. She brought out two and said they made an extra one. We finally drove off. That was 17 minutes I waited on food in a drive thru. They always take a very long time, and I don't know why, but that was unacceptable. Also, Zaxby's food has become really salty. Bring Raisin' Cane's back! read more
