I really don't understand how a single location can be this bad. Orders constantly wrong, even when it's right the food looks like it's just been slammed in the container and tossed out the serving window. The managers have always been horrible. When I ask for extra sauce or extra seasoning and pay extra for it, they don't give me any at all. It's like "extra" means "no" to them. 3. The chicken is weird some days. The Austell GA location is terrible! I drive past this location on my way home from work and will pick up dinner occasionally. The service has always be subpar, but today's experience was will end my visits to this location. The person taking my drive thru order was rude and very disrespectful. When I responded to her and let her know "I could not hear you" she only got more rude. While sitting in the line, I called to speak to the manager (Denise, was her name if the staff was being honest). I was going over what happened when she disconnected the phone. I was not mad at her or yelling at her, just explaining what happened and that I want to have another person at the window to complete my order/purchase. She HUNG UP ON ME!!!! My 78 yr old mother was with me and heard it all. We sat in the car shocked, wondering what just happened. Then when we go to the window, the manager refused to come speak with me and sent someone else. This gentleman was respectful and kind, and seemed embarrassed to have to tell me she doesn't handle confrontations and complaints so she isn't coming to speak with me!!! She turned a simple complaint about a staff's behavior into a bigger issue and has now lost several customers. This was totally unacceptable and uncalled for. She shouldn't be a manager if she can't take feedback and use that to improve customer relations. I did not purchase my order and went to the Zaxby's in Powder Springs off Brownsville Road where I was treated respectfully and my order was place without any issues. I like Zaxby's. They're one of my favorite chicken fast food restaurants. Their grilled chicken sandwich is better than Chick Fil' A's. This Zaxby's looked similar to all the other Zaxby's you seen. The bathrooms are in the same place. The place looks large. And they have that cool soda machine where you can choose a million different flavors. Anyway, I didn't like this Zaxby's as much. I didn't think the staff was as friendly as the other locations. Just like that other chicken fast food restaurant, they are known for their friendly staff.
