Well i'll start this by saying I am a fan of zaxbys. I've been across the country and back and this zaxbys has always been pretty consistent in their quality! Well it just so happened we were in the area a little after they just opened so we were first in line! The guy who took our order (Tyler) had awesome customer service! He was like making us genuinely feel good about our order and just overall, seemed really proficient in his job! When we arrived at the window there was a female who continued our service - (i do not remember her name) - she greeted us with a smile and the staff all appeared happy and really knew what they were doing. I noticed Tyler making our beverages and saw him taking his time with each one! He was using a technique where he was filling each one slowly with ice and beverage so the drinks were super cool and not watered down! We were taken care of pretty quick! And the quality of the food was exceptional!! I'm a wing aficionado! And the wings were just perfect. Cooking perfect and tossed perfect. And if they were frozen, you could never tell because they tasted super fresh! The kids grilled cheese was amazing also! Evenly dispersed and melted! The bread seemed super fresh, and was toasted perfectly! So I feel like given their past bad experiences I needed to share this experience! read more

i'm not sure if they're just severely understaffed and if so, it makes sense. the service is awful. the last few times we went we had the same girl at the drive thru window when picking up the mobile order, who isn't the nicest. we always arrive after when it says it will be ready on the app since they've been so slow and it's still never ready. last week when we came she told us "your food is ready but your drinks are not" and had us pull up- no issues until it took over 25 minutes, so i decided to go inside and the food and drinks had just been sitting there. love the food and really enjoyed this zaxby's up until this past month or so they've been extremely slow and not the nicest at all. read more

Ordered online at 6:30 pm, pick-up time was 7pm. Got there at 7:12, called them, first call someone answered and hung up on me, waited a few minutes, called back, she said we'll be right out. At 7:43 a girl walked out and asked me if I was waiting on an order...... I'm literally sitting in curbside parking spot directly across from the drive-thru window. I give this business, this Zaxby's 1 star only because I have to give at least one but I will tell you this place will never get my business!! In the customer service/ restaurant business I would think CONSIDERATION, common courtesy should be a priority in running your business obviously this place lacks that, or the manager that day did! If you read my past reviews I would hope you come to the conclusion I am fair when I rate a place so read on as I tell you why this business has me pissed off! A coworker of mine had a death in the family so we start a meal train. Well this meal train allowed you to order through Uber eats I happily signed up for the 25th. Zaxby's on Dekalb St was on the list of Places that participated. On my day to provide dinner I placed an order first thing in the morning so I can ensure they had plenty of time to prepare my Order. My order wasn't nothing extravagant if was for a family of 3 the most logical thing I thought to order was the 20 piece chicken Stripes with 3 large fries and a gallon of sweet tea, nothing fancy nothing exciting! I continually checked the uber eats app to make sure everything was fine, I set the delivery time from 1715 to 1745 (5:15-5:45) and seen the money was debit from my account a sign of relief or I thought. At 1700 I was logged into My banking app and notice I had a refund from uber eats for the amount I Paid for the food. I immediately called Zaxby's to see if my food was made, the clueless girl who answered the phone had to get her manager to look at my order well that was pointless. The manager never got on the phone but told the girl to tell me I need to call Uber eats which is fine I will but can you at least tell me if you prepared the order, I mean cmon either u did it u didn't? At this point I am panicking because it's now 1730 and I know this family is expecting dinner and this manager won't even get on the phone ( and I was polite I am never rude to people who may be preparing food). I hung up and called Uber Eats Zaxby's who had my order since 1000 refused my order due to "not being able to fulfill" are you kidding me you had all day to cancel my order or not accept and you wait till 1700 and couldn't even tell me when I called that you declined the order! I should of checked the ratings before ordering at least I Would of known this restaurant is notorious for bad service according to other customers. On a better note I was able to get the family dinner so they had one less thing to worry about it was jus a couple hours late. read more

These employees are extremely rude. Went inside, which was completely empty, and waited 25 minutes for them to take our order. After lady saw us and ignored us, we went in the drive thru where we waited another 30 minutes with only 3 people in line!!! The whole time the employee's we dealt with were rude and down right nasty to us. Hire better people that treat their costumers with kindness and respect. read more

Ordered ahead and food was made quickly. The restaurant was clean overall. I Ordered a Cobb Zalad but it had no egg in it.

Ordered online, was supposed to be ready in 10-15 minutes, 40 minutes later food still wasn't ready. And when I asked where it was in the process of making it for the 3rd time they said "oh it got bumped off the screen, so we have to re enter the order" No apology, awful service. read more

Food is decent except extremely salty , the food is expensive too , I can't eat anything but the salads because of the high salt content .

If you're into waiting 45 minutes in the drive through just to get a meal that isn't what you ordered this is the place! They weren't even in a hurry to take my money sat at the window for 8 minutes before they even had me pay. Was watching 3 people stand right behind the window not doing anything the whole time. Also paid an extra $1.50 for 3 sauces and got none, not even what comes with the meal. They were also our of large cups, looks like management is root issue! Their dine in room is closed which we understand, especially due to lack of staff , but 3 people at the register 3 or 4 in the kitchen and they are ALL playing and horsing around. Their drive thru line is wrapped around the already small building. All of this for cold foods (: have to love the few fast food restaurants we have that aren't even fast .. read more

We were there this evening and the service was horrible. We waited at least an hour and the food was cold. When we got to the window the "kids" inside were looking at each others cell phones.. it seems that the cooks were on top of things and everyone's food was just sitting inside waiting on heckel and jeckel to do their part at the front. The GM Vivian stopped by The table to make sure everything was OK. I asked her if they had any locations in Florida and she said she wasn't sure but she was going to a corporate meeting later this week and she would inquire . She told me that the corporate store is located in Athens Georgia and there are 700 locations across the United States. Her restaurant in Camden is kept spotless We both ordered the cobb salad dad and I. It was fresh and delicious with tomatoes shredded cheese crunchy fried onions grilled chicken cucumbers and hard boiled eggs along with Texas toast .We chose this for our last lunch in town as we are leading to go back to Florida tomorrow. I'm glad we stopped in today to have lunch because it was absolutely delicious .Hope to see some zaxby's in Florida soon . read more

Late post, but it's necessary! I went to this location with my husband a few weeks back to order dinner. As the cashier who took our order prepared to go on break, another young lady walked up to our cashier at the register while eating something out her hand, and I mean her lips completely touched her hand. As she chewed her food, she mumbled to our cashier to go ahead and take her break. I had already placed my order but proceeded watch her because I was in total shock that she did not wash her hands after eating out them, so I did not want her touching our order. As I continued watching her, she started to prepare to help fill food orders, so I immediately walked up to the counter. She looked up and saw me, grabbed her drink from the below the counter, bought her straw to her mouth with her hand, and after drinking, asked if I needed anything. I quickly suggested that she wash her hands and explained to her that I saw her come from the back eating out of her hand and drinking behind the counter and not once did she wash her hands. She tried to deny doing this, but I assured her that "I SAW HER DO THIS". She became a little disgruntled but commenced to wash her hands, but I am sure that what she did that night was not her first or last time. I hope the manager at this Zaxby's locations reads this review and puts a handle on their cashiers eating and drinking behind their counters while working, and more importantly not washing their hands immediately before the approach the work floor. read more

We have been frequenting Zaxby's diligently for the past YEAR AND A HALF on Wednesdays. As a family of 6, it was the kids meals for 99 cents that drew us in. We could all eat affordably, support a local franchise, and it meant that I didn't have to cook on our busiest day of the week because of the kids' lessons and church night. It just worked out conveniently. 2 weeks ago, we got the notification that the Zaxby's in Camden would no longer be offering the kids meals for 99 cents. The ONLY reason that was given was there was "too many menu items"?!?!?! Not quite sure what that is even supposed to mean!! Ever since new management, the prices of the menu items have gone up 60 - 70 cents per item at least. So I'm not sure how they would be losing money, because one day a week for a few hours (5:00 - 8:00 p.m.), they offer kids meals for 99 cents. AND you have to purchase an adult meal to even get the kids meals at that price. AND you only get 2 kids meals at that price per adult meal. We purchased 2 adult meals to get the 4 kids meals that we needed. BUT Zaxby's has lost 4 - 5 families' (almost 25 people just in our party) business... and I can't speak for the 3 - 4 families we saw there on a regular basis... on Wednesday nights, because they offer too many menu items now and can't offer the kids meals for 99 cents. So...now one of the other local business in the Camden area will be getting 20 - 25 extra people sitting at their tables on Wednesdays ready to spend money on dinner. read more
