It was about an hour before they closed but were still doing pretty good business. The woman working behind the counter was extremely kind and exuded Southern hospitality. I reviewed the menu then ended up ordering the Cole Special Dipper (turkey, bacon crumbs, and melted American cheese) on wheat roll with Formula "45." My meal came out quickly and I was it was clear why. I was just underwhelmed by sandwich. I'm not sure if it was possible, but I would have liked lettuce and tomato on the sandwich. I also was surprised that the Formula 45 sauce came on the side. I though when I was choosing it that meant it came on the sandwich. I suppose the positive is that I was able to dip my sandwich and my chips in it. The good news it that the sauce was delicious. Maybe the highlight of the meal. The conversation coming from the kitchen kinda negatively impacted the experience. They were plenty loud talking about all sorts of stuff that probably would be rated R if it had been a movie. I'm not a prude, but just left a negative impression. All in all, it was fine. If I went back, I'd maybe try one of their salads.

It was everything we wanted...EVERYTHING. The restaurant was adorable, the service was fast, friendly and above and beyond. The cute cashier answered every question we had about even the simplest thing on the menu. And the food. The food was beyond what you would expect when you walk through the door. My dad got a slaw dog that came with chili, onions, and a bunch of other things on it. My mom got a hamburger all the way and french fries - She could only eat about half of it. My husband got a triple burger with french fries which he raved about. And I got the grilled chicken Philly with mozzarella cheese and grilled onions that was so delicious that i only wish that I'd ordered a second one just so I would've had more leftovers. The portions are perfect and a little on the larger side so we took leftovers home. You have the option with each meal for two sides. And you can either double up on fries or do like I did and get fries and a mini side salad. I would go here again and again. I've mentioned it to a few people that have also raved about this place as well. What a hidden gen and what a great place when you're in the area. You will not be disappointed!

Glad they couldn't see that over the phone but not a great customer experience. He gruffly took my order and I went and find a table in the open restaurant. The lunch rush started once I sat and the phone was ringing consistently and a regular stream of folks came into the restaurant many greeting "Mr. Blackmon" at the counter. :/ My name was shouted and I went and grabbed my hot dog and tater tots. As others have acknowledged, the hot dog chili is REALLY watery. With an untoasted bun, I assumed that the bun wouldn't last two bites. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The pimento cheese in the bottom must protect the structural integrity of the bun. I was really pleased. The pimento cheese and the chili really tasted good together. The tater tots were nicely crispy but unseasoned. Though I enjoyed my meal, I think I'd go elsewhere if I return to Camden just due to the attitude of the gentleman at the counter.

Second time our food must have sat out waiting to be served and was cold and obviously dried out. Waitress was too busy chatting it up with another table, served three other tables that came in after us, talking on phone all whilst we sat ignored and waited ...watched ....waited ....waited and waited while our food sat waiting to be picked up and brought to our table. Absolutely unacceptable. Waitress needs training.

A server came by to take our drink order, only to let us know they were out of both drinks we originally wanted. No big deal--we pivoted. But then my sweet tea came with Splenda and no spoon to stir it, and silverware never made an appearance at all. What really sealed it, though, was the service--or lack of it. Another server spent close to 20 minutes chatting with a table about something completely unrelated to the restaurant while we sat there unnoticed. During that time, three separate parties were seated after us and were promptly given menus, silverware, and attentive service. We were never checked on again. After sitting there watching everyone else be taken care of, it became pretty clear we weren't going to be served that day. So we got up and left. I always hate sharing experiences like this because I truly want local businesses to succeed. But service matters just as much as the food, and sadly, this visit missed the mark entirely.

Not too many tables in the main room (I think maybe 6 or so) and they have the Company store side apparently for banquets. The chicken was great. Quarter chicken with wing and very moist. The green beans were perfect. I like the southern style green beans - my wife likes the al dente. These were my style. The BBQ Hash and rice was also very good. Her dinner also was served with a regular bread roll. The waitress was very prompt in seating us and taking the order. We were served in probably 5-7 minutes after ordering. Very fast. We'll definitely go back. They currently don't have beer or wine but have put in for their license. My son chose the Turkey club and I went with the BYO salad. We sat as we waited for our food. It was about a 10 minute wait. Our food was brought out and everything looked deelish!
