Pulled through to simply get a Diet Coke for after my workout. The girl out the window did not say a single word to me during the entire exchange of money and my drink. I asked her how she was doing when i pulled up. No response. I said thank you when she handed me my change. No response. And I said thank you when she handed me my drink. No response. And then she forgot to give me my straw, which wasn't an issue, but she opened the window after she realized i never pulled away and I asked for the straw and she just turned around and grabbed it and still no response. Like genuinly complete silence the whole time. I understand that people can be having a bad day, but I work in food service and if I did that to a customer at my place of employment, I would have been written up if not fired immediately. read more

OMG! Can we stop with this madness and start giving out Yelp tests to obtain Yelp review privileges? It is totally ridiculous that someone has one review because her chicken fingers were not cut into bite size pieces. At least the other 2 one-star reviews talked about the service. The other one was a long wait but Zaxby's is fresh, and made to order. I would concede 35 minutes is a long time to wait though. Look Zaxby's, as far as casual fast food goes, doesn't deserve a 5-star. But no way does it deserve a 1 and 1/2.star rating due to reviewers that only use Yelp to complain. (Welcome to Dothan!) I would rate Zaxby's a 4-star. My chicken finger places that I have come across rate like this: 1. Raising Cane's 2. Foosackly's 3. Zaxby's 4. Guthrie's 5. Goldfingers I like the variety that Zaxby's offers and I would pick it anyday over garbage fast-food burgers. You would almost pay the same or a little less for garbage. But for some reason, Dothan loves the McDonald's and Burger Kings. The star of Zaxby's, in my opinion , are the wings. It is rare when I have a wing that is too overdone and I have never had one not done. The BBQ and teriyaki are my favorite flavors. The chicken fingers are not as good as Cane's or Foosackly's, but they are quite tasty. But what takes them to another level is to have them buffaloed in a sauce, something none of the other places offer. The fries are crinkle cut and thick. The sweet tea is always refreshingly sweet. And Zaxby's would be one of the few places I would consider ordering a salad as an entree. Trust the Yelp Elitist here with over 400 reviews than the other reviews. This place used to be nice. It has really gone downhill. It's dirty all over . Drink machines are always out of flavors. The walls are gross with fingerprinted old soda and who knows what else. Come on now. I felt obligated to leave a review since the other one was so horrible. This Zaxbys is the exact same as any other Zaxbys that I've eaten at. It's a chain and our food was to standard. Not only does Zaxbys on West Main St, Dothan, AL decide that I do not need a knife, they determine what bite size I prefer by cutting the chicken in larger than bite size for my preference. Horrible drive thru. Wife ordered a 10 piece wing dinner with chips for the side for me a 10 piece no bones wing for my son with fries and a salad. Sounds simple but wait there is more. The lady taking the order said they didn't have a 10 piece no bones wing dinner and she would have to order two five piece dinners. Now how this is interesting is plainly on the menu it said 10 PIECE NO BONE WING DINNER so my wife asked the lady and she said they do not have that. So instead of arguing my son received a 5 piece and after the lady repeating the order back wrong 3 times she finally got it right. But wait there is more when my wife pulled around to the window to pay the bill was $30.00 for a 5 piece no bones wing and a 10 piece regular wing and a salad. My wife then told them to take the sale off because she wasn't paying $30.00 for fast food carry out. But wait there is yet more. After looking at the receipt she finds they are charging for chips that should have come with the meal. So after bringing that to their attention they refund her she gets her order and this is clearly where my wife made the mistake. She goes back through the exact same drive thru and re-orders her salad. CRAZY RIGHT. Well in defense it went much smoother this time. But wait yet there is more lol. She gets home and low and behold wrong salad. Stay far away from the drive thru here. Your sanity and your religion is worth to much to loose it to people that just don't care. read more
