    Salad

Lettuce is cheap, there's no reason for my salad to be this small and flat smh. I knew I got it a little too fast this time.

Came here while I was traveling for work. All me east coast friends wouldn't stop talking about this place, so I had to give them a try. My only complaint is that I didn't come here every day of my trip and try the whole menu. Their chicken is not dry at all. Cooked well and full of flavor. The sauce isn't wildly spicy but good enough to kick my spicy craving. If you have these near you go there and go there often.

Don't even waste your time here. Management is VERY inconsistent and the food is horrible. I have never seen as many people in one place that hate their job the way this crew does. While I was there 3 crew members actually got into a tussle and the MANAGER was involved in it. Very immature staff and bad attitudes.

Just wanted to add to my original review, that Boulder's has become probably a monthly stop for us…read moreat one point or another. Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.

We loved their homemade dressings. Service: Our server was great! Attentive, kind, and offered to let us taste test. She also was helpful in her descriptions and recommendations. However, our experience fell short upon arrival. The hostess said they don't have a table for 5 but we could add a chair to a 4 top. And when I said that's not a comfortable or reasonable set up for 5 people and asked if we could push two tables together, she seemed annoyed. Who thinks it's acceptable for a party of 5 to sit someone at the corner point of a 4 top table when there are open tables all around? Management advice: If this is truly your approach, I'd recommend you rethink that logic. This is basic hospitality.

We were huge, huge fans of Sammy G's previously and generally speaking everything is roughly the…read moresame but there have been some changes that really lower the review for me. I don't know if the ownership has changed or if they just made some decisions to alter things, but either way it changes our opinion of the place. First and most important for us, they used to be the only place we were aware of in NC to get Gluten Free Crab Cakes which was a major reason we frequented Sammy G's. That has apparently changed and the new Gluten Free menu is basically just the meats menu which is a real shame. It looks like they have made some other small changes to the regular menu as well, none of those were all that concerning but the loss of this GF treat is a real blow for us. If you are a celiac and found reviews about the GF crab cakes, please be aware they appear to be gone now. Additionally, the prices across the menu seem to have gone up by a few dollars. When you consider that Sammy G's was never a cheap place to eat, and given the state of the economy these days, that actually does come out to a noticeable change and makes it harder to justify going. However, with the loss of the old GF options, it's unlikely we'll come back anywhere near as often as we used to.

Visited May 17 around 2:05 PM, just the two of us. Seated right away, orders taken within minutes,…read moreand the appetizer came out quickly. Entrées followed in a reasonable time, no real issue there. Sammy G's has been in High Point for years and offers a wide menu with a little bit of everything. They also bring out little yeast rolls that are pretty good and they were warm when served. We started with the thin cut onion rings. My husband said "less than spectacular," and that sums it up. Some were sliced so thin you mostly tasted breading, and they were a bit greasy. I would skip these. He ordered the fish sandwich with Brussels sprouts (premium side with a small upcharge). The sandwich was okay, nothing special. The Brussels sprouts were good, nicely cooked with solid flavor. I had the Fratellis salad with greens, cranberries, feta, mozzarella, Granny Smith apples, and candied pecans, and added sirloin for an upcharge. They forgot the steak at first, but brought it out shortly after in a separate bowl. Not a big deal. The sirloin was cooked medium as requested, a little red inside and tender enough to cut easily. It had good flavor. I chose the apple cider vinaigrette, which worked well with the salad. I also ordered the chef's selection soup, which was supposed to be lobster bisque. If there was any lobster, it was microscopic. The flavor was slightly bitter and just not good. I asked for it to be taken off the bill. Service handled everything well, including the mistake with the steak and the soup. Atmosphere is casual tavern style, relaxed and easy for a weekday lunch. Must order: Fratellis salad with sirloin and apple cider vinaigrette (yummy), Brussels sprouts Heads up: Skip the thin cut onion rings and don't expect much from the bisque. Other soups, I've had here in the past have been great though.

I first discovered Odeh's when it was deemed the favorite restaurant by our local Yelp ambassador Erik and they had just a few tables in a small space with just counter service. Since then they have grown to add a larger dining room, table service and expanded their already delicious menu. There is nothing bad here and you can find something for every taste. I usually go with some sort of chicken dish but my husband has tried many of their other favorites and has loved them all. The portions are generous and I usually leave with a container for the next day.

Still a solid option for pizza, whether that be whole of in slice form…read more Definitely some of the largest slices around, and the taste is good but not anything exceptional. My assertion that I still like a whole pizza fresh when it comes to this style still holds true. Unless you happen to come at a busy time (actually prefered in this case) you may be getting a re-heated slice that could have been out of the oven for quite awhile. Reheating pizza by the slice to order is of course a common industry practice, but once they sit a bit too long, your end result can be less than ideal. If I think I can eat the leftovers, or definitely if I am sharing with someone, I definitely go the full pizza route. All in all, while I don't tell anyone to rush to Mario's because you absolutely have to have it, it is as reliable as they come at pretty much any of their locations... and that is much appreciated.

It's not to be confused with Fig and Olive Cafe in Greensboro. Fig & Olive is new to Stock + Grain. It opened last month, July 2025. Stock + Grain opened in early 2022. The food hall has really filled in since then. We visited for dinner before a Carolina Core soccer game and the place was packed. My wife and I were drawn to Fig & Olive's menu. We wanted something light and relatively healthy. They sell sandwiches and bowls, priced at $11 to $18.50 each. We both got the Portofino Bowl for $16.50 each. It comes with baby arugula, soppressata, bresaola, marinated artichoke hearts, shaved pecorino romano, fresh lemon, and extra virgin olive oil. The bowls/salads were presented nicely. One of our friends commented that they looked "delightful." Unfortunately, the bowls looked better than they tasted. They were unbalanced and hard to enjoy. We were unable to finish them. While the portion sizes were decent, I was working/chewing through a lot of dense, cured meat. There wasn't any dressing except for the EVOO (which I'm not sure we even noticed) and some lemon wedges. Overall, the bowls weren't that flavorful. They felt incomplete. The quality of the ingredients was fine, though. They give you a pager so you know when to pick up your order. When I went to pick up our bowls, they made a mistake and only prepared one bowl instead of two. I let them know and later, the cashier brought my bowl directly to where we were sitting. She was polite and apologetic. No big deal to me. It looked like there were only two people working and they were busy. Given how new this place is and the appealing menu, I'd be willing to give it another shot. Maybe they were still working some kinks out and/or we ordered the wrong thing. Fig & Olive is certainly a nice addition to Stock + Grain's lineup. According to Fig & Olive's page on Stock + Grain's website, the business is "a social enterprise" of Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC's Providence program where "all efforts and profits support workforce development programs."
