Carrot salad and Greek salad
Chris L.

This place was stellar top top to bottom, and nothing brings me more delight than to be able to write a great review of a hard working family who is absolutely crushing it. First thing you notice are the other tables' food. It all looks incredible, and portions are huge. Then you open the menu, and prices are reasonable. We were quickly taken care of by the owner, who literally downsold us by suggesting a mixed grill platter - he said it was the best bang for your buck, so we went with it and are so glad we did. All the kebabs were excellent - steak tender and chicken juicy. The hummus, pita, tabbouili, kofta and falafel also hit the spot. The carrot salad was the biggest hit. And dessert the Dubai-style cheesecake was A+. Overall we ate a ton, with leftovers, without breaking the bank. A great family story behind it, and I'm just really happy we have a place like this in Kendall.

Delicious, fresh and tasty! So glad this restaurant is in West Kendall! A must try, guaranteed come back! Joseph was very attentive and accommodating.

Loved the food and the service. The meat was so flavorful and tender, all of the food is homemade and made with love. The service is fantastic. Love this restaurant and we will be back again soon!

Kibbeh

Delicious food. Fresh ingredients. Had the kibbeh, hummus w/ Tabouleh. The service was great. Can't wait to go back again.

Chicken shawarma with Greek salad and babaganoush

All I can say is wow miami needed a spot like this. Food was incredible. So fresh so tasty and clean! We ordered the kibbeh and falafel and they were both incredible. We also got three chicken shwarmas one with hummus and salad one with babaganoush and salad and one with fries and rice pilaf. You cannot go wrong with any of these sides or the chicken. The carrot salad is sweet with a little kick and so delicious and the samosas are more like empanadas but so so good. We have already gone back twice in 1 week. Service was great and the ambiance is casual with a little grocery corner in the back. 5/5!

This is place is delicious! Everything was flavorful. Loved the chicken and beef. My husband and I did a combo and shared it, more than enough food! The kale salad was seasoned to perfection and tasted so fresh and so good! Oh and the customer service?! Amazing. They're so kind and thoughtful. My husband has nut and seafood allergies and they were so mindful and made sure everything he ate was safe! 100% recommend this place! A nice cozy family friendly restaurant. They also told me they're working on this liquor license because I asked for some wine haha!

Absolutely delicious Arabic food! The kibbeh was flavorful , the grape leaves were fresh and tasty, and the samosas had a great crispy texture. The hummus was smooth , and the labneh was delicious. Everything was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. great service , very welcoming. Definitely coming back!

We stopped at Zaytona Grill for a quick meal and loved the food. This is a need restaurant to Kendall and I'm super happy that we discovered it. Their food is very fresh and tasty. One item I would skip is the baklava, the portion is extremely tiny.

Carrot n raisin side dish. Awesome hummus!

Went to do some business here in this new location. The staff was very friendly and very nice being a Mediterranean restaurant. This is one of my favorite foods and they didn't disappoint great hummus fresh and they also had whole chick Peas very authentic. The owner had me tried this side dish with carrots and raisins. It was really good and I had two Kibe since this was my lunch. the menu looks really good and good prices. The appetizer platters look really good yummm Kibe were so yummy and authentic love that flavor and were hot perfect! A location with tables and you can see them prepare the food in their food displays. Try the pita trust me!! Service really nice and food was really fresh . Coming back for sure !

Chicken Skewers, Hummus, Lentil Rice, Falafel and yummy warm pitas.

Absolutely delicious authentic Mediterranean food. I love local restaurants and Zaytona Grille was sublime in all aspects. Josef was so welcoming and kind. Even included a desert to go for our time visiting them. Here is a snap of our meal. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Cheers!!

Seating is mostly outdoors and beautifully decorated, definitely a nice selection for an intimate event. Service was wonderful! The spanakopita was nicely flaky, the spinach filling wasn't overly bitter or pungent (my boyfriend is not a fan of strong feta flavors and enjoyed this while I am a feta enthusiast, we felt that this was right in the middle of our demands which worked great). We both love moussaka which is what my boyfriend ended up getting, dare we say it was our favorite moussaka out of any Greek restaurant in America thus far (coming from New Yorkers frequently visiting Astoria). It was broiled to perfection to give the cheese/béchamel layer a light crunch at the top and maintaining that richness underneath. The eggplant and ground meat were well seasoned. I really enjoyed my stuffed peppers as well (rice pilaf, ground beef, and feta on top), the tomato broth/sauce gave a nice sweet and savory flavor with the meal. Finally, a superb pistachio baklava, 10/10. Super impressed with what Miami had to offer for Mediterranean.

Even after paying, the staff continued to make sure we had water and asked if we needed anything else. This small gesture meant a lot. Sufrat has a great happy hour menu that ends at 6 PM. I tried the Moroccan Mojito, which was so refreshing. To eat, we tried the Shawarma Sushi and $1 chicken wing. The Shawarma Sushi name can be a bit misleading. It a wrap that was cut in form of sushi. It was good. I was hesitant about ordering chicken wings but I'm so glad we did because they were so delicious and crispy. They may have been the best chicken wing I've had. The service was excellent. I accidentally dropped my cocktail and they immediately cleaned it up and moved us to another clean table. I apologized for dropping it but not once did they made me feel bad about it. Instead, one of the staff stated it was an indication of having a great time. They also replaced my drink at no extra cost. A guy, who I assumed was the manager or owner, also passed by our table and ensured we were enjoying our time. Our server mistakenly brought me the wrong drink that I ordered, but I did not mind it because I actually loved the Moroccan Mojito and instead ordered another one. I also loved how they have copper cups because it makes water taste so much better. Their attention to small details like that makes the difference. Overall, I felt so welcomed and definitely have to return for more chicken wings.

For context, I worked in fine dining in New York and Miami for almost 20 years, so I notice the details immediately, hospitality, management presence, the energy of a room. You can usually tell pretty quickly what kind of operation you're dealing with. We were a party of five. I arrived with my four-year-old son and was greeted warmly by the hostess. That warmth ended instantly. Standing directly behind her were two managers in suits blocking the main entrance. Both looked straight at me and my child and said absolutely nothing. No hello, no smile, no acknowledgment. Anyone in hospitality knows that moment sets the tone. As an Arab woman who grew up around a culture where hospitality is everything, it was already a bad sign. We were seated outside and the vibe stayed cold. Unfortunately, the food matched it. We ordered a lot because I genuinely wanted to give the kitchen a fair shot. I grew up eating Lebanese food and what stood out most was the lack of soul. Everything felt flat, like it needed salt, lemon, brightness, that warm Mediterranean seasoning Lebanese food is known for. The tabouli was especially shocking. A $20+ tabouli with no bulgur that was so roughly chopped it was basically whole parsley leaves and slices of onion. Any Lebanese auntie would die at the sight of it. At one point I asked our server if they had harissa or any kind of spicy sauce. She said the only option was Sriracha. In a Lebanese restaurant that charges $18 for a tablespoon of hummus. An Asian chili sauce as the only option. What made it even stranger is that harissa is listed on multiple dishes on the menu, so it clearly exists somewhere in the building. I asked for the Sriracha anyway out of desperation for flavor. It never came. Same with ketchup for my toddler's fries, it took three requests. Throughout the meal I walked around the restaurant several times taking my son to the bathroom, looking around the space, even going upstairs to the lounge. Not a single person acknowledged us. Not a host, not a server, not a manager. The bar is right by the entrance and every time we looked over at the bartender and bar manager, just blank stares. At one point we were clearly standing there confused looking for the bathroom in an empty restaurant and still had to say "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?" Wild. Later I walked up to the bar myself to ask if they carried mezcal. After dinner I went back to order one. Same energy--zero warmth, zero engagement. And this is with an automatic 20% gratuity already on the bill. The mezcal was a $25 two-ounce pour and I still had to ask for an orange slice garnish because no one offered it. Empty bar, two people behind it, and I still had to request it. Also worth noting, our reservation was at 5:45pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Yet I didn't see a single manager walking the floor, greeting tables, or checking on guests. I had talked this place up to my party because I'd been so curious about it for years, and it was honestly a huge letdown. If you know Lebanese food and understand Middle Eastern warmth and hospitality, this probably isn't the place for you. Expect cold, almost nonexistent hospitality and food that feels stripped of the soul that makes Lebanese cuisine special. The space is beautiful. I'll give them that. Everything else felt like a very on-brand Miami disappointment, what happens when you give people a beautiful restaurant, expensive food, automatic gratuity, and no leadership. From the lack of authenticity and attention to detail, it's hard to believe anyone truly Lebanese is behind this operation. If anything, it feels more like a polished money grab. Honestly, it might have been less jarring if they just called themselves "Mediterranean" like so many other places in this city. But if you're going to call yourself a Lebanese restaurant, the culture and hospitality should actually be there.

We were whisked inside to the intimate, dimly lit interior with a DJ table tastefully tucked away in the back of the space. Service was welcoming but overall, not quite as warm and attentive as I've experienced at other places in town. We started off with the Turkish Manti Dumplings, which were the standout of the night. The complexity yet restraint of flavor, balancing indescribable buttery, roasted, earthy notes with a touch of umami and subtle tanginess from the yogurt. The Mezze Sampler was a nice option for trying three of the dips. All very tasty, but I've had slightly better elsewhere. The Sweet Jeweled rice was the other standout with flavor and textural variety that made each bite pop. I found the Roasted Brussels Sprouts undercooked and lacking the same level of flavor as the other plates. The weakest dish of the evening. The Grilled Whole Bronzino got top marks from the meat eaters at the table. Overall, 4/5 stars for a delicious meal but with tough competition around town limiting my ability to hit that 5.
