Nice find in a shopping center that I visit regularly. Went for my regular haircut and saw this nice little place next-door. Clean and nice setting although sparse devor. One of the two display counters showcases paper bags which may be a missed opportunity since items for sale would be far better suited. Greeted by a very pleasant young woman who took my order. I chose the Diana Salad, an awesome chopped salad with chicken that was absolutely delicious. Wonderful lunch salad at a very reasonable price. I enjoyed it vey much and will be back to try more nenu items. read more

I would give this place 6 stars if i could. The most delicious chicken, lamb and beef skewers i've had. The meat is so tender and juicy. Perfectly cooked. The tabbouleh? Delicious. The rice? So tasty. The sauces? Incredible. My first time trying Shawarma's Diana was on accident when i saw their food truck but after that one time, i saved the location on my phone and went back a couple more times. When they opened up in the kendall area as an actual venue, i became a regular. The staff is so sweet and their portions are very generous for the price. Every time i go, i get combo 3 and combo 4, both for myself. One for now and one for later. Combo 3 is either chickpea hummus, eggplant, or a pepper hummus (which is my favorite) with a good amount of bread and tabbouleh and 2 skewers of your choice. Combo 4 is a salad (which i usually switch out for tabbouleh because it's that good), a choice of yellow rice or the classic mediterranean rice and noodles and 2 skewers of your choice. Since i get both combos, i get all 4 meats they offer; lamb, chicken, steak and kafta. Absolutely delicious. Writing this review makes me want some right now. read more

This is one of my favorite places that I can actually walk to! It can be a little pricey, but the food won't fail you. I usually get a chicken shawarma, or a falafel wrap, and ALWAYS the mix of three creams (hummus, baba ganoush, and muhammara cause sometimes you want it all!) Went to Shawarma's Diana to order to go. The place is nice and cozy and I believe I was served by the owner who was very friendly. Ordered a few mixed shawarmas, a falafel entree, and the Diana bowl. Had an espresso while I waited which was strong just how I like it! Food didn't take long, I waited about 10-15 minutes. Everyone liked their shawarmas which came with falafel and tabbouleh. The Diana bowl was big, I couldn't finished it. It has rice, meat (I had the mixed one with beef and chicken), salad, pita bread, falafel, and French fries. It was delicious, however I found the falafel a little on the fry side but with the garlic sauce they provide its problem solved! Ordered take out from Diana's Shawarma on a Friday night. The order was not ready when I arrived but they immediately started working on it. The lady in the front was very polite and professional. The food was amazingly delicious and tasted fresh. The hummus was so flavorful and the pita chips so crunchy and light. The tabbouleh was also so fresh I was able to taste the parsley. I ordered a mixed platter and the meats (chicken and beef) were delicious. For dessert I tried the pistachio cake. This dessert melts in your mouth. Loved it! Paired with a perfectly executed, rich cappuccino, the meal was a masterful study in contrasting textures and flavors. This place is a hidden gem! It's located next door to the DMV so very difficult to find parking and very crowded shopping center. But this food is well worth the traffic. It's definitely the best Mediterranean food in Kendall area. Not only was the lamb and steak cooked to perfection, but the pricing is great. Started out as a food truck and is now a store front! That alone says something!! Honestly, the most flavorful food I've had. Food is always 10/10 even when I order it through uber eats. This business tricks people into wasting more time out of their day to get themselves more business. I spoke to an employee and they admitted the food truck and other address listed on maps does not exist, yet they keep in on their causing people to show up realize the place doesn't exist at that location anymore and then drive another 10 minutes. I would not have chosen to go here on lunch break had I known it was so far. Seems like this is down with malicious intent to get themselves more business! I even told the employee, I don't want to leave a bad review, is there a manager or owner I can speak to about this he said no. So here I am. read more

We visited this place for a light lunch. It had many reviews on Google, but not many reviews on Yelp, so I was a bit skeptical. The restaurant is quite small, but not cramped. Everything looked clean and well kept. We ordered a steak skewer ($9.99) with a side of fries ($4.99), a Lamb Shawarma sandwich with fries ($19.98) and a Chicken Shawarma sandwich with fries ($17.99). The food was very tasty and portions were ok. For dessert we ordered a small piece of Baklava ($2.99) and a Pistachio and ricotta slice of pie ($5.49). These were good, especially the piece of pie. The service was courteous and the food came out pretty quickly. I noticed they calculated the tip after a non cash adjustment of 2.6% and sales tax of 7%, which I found was not cool. Had I noticed, I would have adjusted it instead of just leaving the 20%. I did find the prices a bit high for the location and ambiance, but at least the food was good. I am giving this place 3 stars for the simple reason that mediterranean food is not expensive to make yourself yet this restaurant is charging a little over $33.00 for double skewer platter and by the way, her platter doesn't even come with hummus as in most places! You want hummus? You will need to pay almost $12 for an 8oz container with 4 pieces of pita bread or 2 pitas cut up into 4 small slices. That is unheard of! Maybe if her location was in The Gables and was extremely fancy with entertainment but all you get is Kendall and a little hole in the wall and right next to the craziness of the DMV! I wish she had stayed with her food truck as the food was just as good and reasonable! The food is good, don't get me wrong but not worthy of $33.00 a platter. Not to mention..A small piece (regular size anywhere else) of Baklava will cost you almost $4.00 each! Definitely NEVER going back here again! read more
