I was a walk-in client today, and mostly I picked this place because it was close to Charlton Memorial Hospital and had a review written relatively recently. The salon is clean and bright, and they have a great selection of colors to choose from (including OPI and Cre8tion, which I have found to be the best for my nails, in regular, gel, and dip). I had Jessi as my technician, and she did a really wonderful job with the mess to which I presented to her. 1) My toenails were overdue for a pedicure by 2.5 months. It's not that I hadn't cut them in several months, but they were still way too long, the cuticles were a disaster, and the polish was growing out in a very unattractive fashion. Bless her for making my toenails presentable again. 2) Mid-November all my fingernails decided to break way down on the nail bed. I've been (sort of) patiently waiting for all the breaks to grow out to the surface, which is to say I arrived with all my nails in different versions of too-short, different shapes, a couple barely there at all. When Jessi was done with my fingernails, it looked like I had intentionally chosen to have them exactly that length. I was so impressed. Love going to nail pro , Katherine does such a great job (mind you these nails are about a week old and I do a lot of dishes) but she does such a great job at shaping and does her very best to do whatever I request , I will always go to her love them so much and the owners are always welcoming and they are also Spanish speaking which is a plus for those that only speak Spanish! read more

Very disappointed in the service at the salon. I have a standing appointment every two weeks with Elizabeth walked in five minutes late this morning and she had already started working on somebody else when I have countless times waited for her walking in late. Rather than stop the client she was doing and taking me who had an appointment, they told me I'd have to see somebody else....very disappointed. And I've been a loyal client for many years. So my actual pedicure was great! Beautifully done... however the wait time is ridiculous. It also seems like if you are a regular you immediately get in, even if an appointment was made. I waited 20, and plenty of others waited close to 45. My girl was supposed to do someone who was waiting, and then two new people walked in and one was a regular, and he then made the other woman wait even longer! Also, another woman who was clearly a regular cut the line of multiple people the minute she walked in! Not a fan of that... read more

Horrible. Had an appt for three people at 11am two of the three waited 30 and 40 min. The place is filthy and they reuse tools without sterilizing them. They do not do French dip and limited colors for dip. My dip came out bumpy and nails filed crooked. No idea how they have so many stars---- people need to visit the nail salons in Dartmouth area soooooo much better. read more

I've been here several times since my first visit, as the location is sometimes convenient, and their gel manis are the best for the money in that area. Their color section is wide and varied, they offer several different brands, and they have some creative nail art options if you're into that. The con is that the wait can be lengthy, even when you call ahead. Last time I was there, the manager was clearly berating my nail tech (in another language) for how long it was taking her to finish my mani, which I definitely didn't appreciate. Took my daughter for her first set of acrylic nails. She asked the nail tech if she could do a simple design on one of her nails, the nail tech only shook her head "NO". Not customer friendly, not a good experience for a kid who was spending her first paycheck. Also, had a $10 up-charge on it when I asked what that was for was told for "gel paint". Will never go again! Popped in after work for a spa pedicure. After soaking for 35 mins in a VERY uncomfortable chair (really it was awful!) the whole "procedure" took about 6 mins. They cut and filed my nails, poorly may I add, and slathered my calves and feet in baby oil. They used a scrubby block to do my heels but not a pumice stone; it did nothing but tickle. No massage. No hot towel. No asking if the length etc of nails was okay or any of the stuff you typically would get at the other salons around. I always use OPI polish, have for years. The paint job and quality of the paint is so BAD that I am positive they dilute the polish. I asked the man who did my toes to do a 3rd coat because it was so streaky and he was not happy. They still looked rough when I left. Now for the really bad part! After the lady in the station next to me left they merely rinsed the foot spa with water before seating another woman in it a few mins later. No disinfectant or scrubbing; gross!! Much to my dismay, on my way out I saw the foot scriubbers on a hand towel next to the sink; they just rinse them after they use them and leave them there for the next victim. Thoroughly skeeved I went home And washed my feet and legs. All in all it was a waste of $22 not including tip, and they are not clean! The price the same as other salons around... Now I know why they were so quiet when my usual salon was so busy!!! read more

I came for my first visit for a dip manicure and regular pedicure. Rosa took care of me and my hands and feet look great! I had an appointment at 2p and waited 15 minutes to be seen which wasn't bad at all. The only thing that I would probably say is that their safety measures for social distancing/sanitation could be a little better. read more

I just got a fill and pedicure and am truly satisfied. My nails came out beutiful and perfect. The pedicure was very relaxing from the massage chair leg massage and soothing hot towel .my experience was great. They do a great job , definitely know what there doing. Very disappointed with the last two times I went there. First I got shellac and got an awful job done, not painted all the way through showing my natural nail. Second they say the close at 7 on Saturdays, they turned down a customer at 6:18. I was the last one in there and was told my nails were all set (even thought they were still tacky) at 6:40. Practically being rushed out the door, the owner had the TV and lights off before the door closed behind me. Just awful customer service if you ask me. read more

I got a full set here for Christmas and they came out HORRIBLE! Not to mention I was charged $50 for a crappy looking set of nails. The manicurist did my nails in literally 15 minutes tops, she did minimal work and worked quickly and very sloppily. She charged me extra money for style of the nail and didn't even do the style that I showed her. She then kept telling me to wax my eyebrows, which I needed to anyways so I say yes, HUGE MISTAKE! The wax she used was extremely hot to the point where it was burning my skin and she again worked very quickly and sloppily on my eyebrows, did them in a minute, i'm not kidding. Not to mention, my friend got a fill here and the guy wasn't even looking at her nails, but he was watching the game on the TV behind her! Such a JOKE!
