never going to this place again I went one time two weeks ago and had a full dip acrylic. I called and made an appointment to have them redone as they grew out when I went to my appointment they gave me a dip manicure and charged me $52. When I told the tech it was supposed to be full acrylic like I made the appointment for like I wrote on the paper at reception and informed them no accommodations were made. I would go here regularly when I lived in the area. Now, I'll make it a point to go when I'm in town. Been going here overall for total of about 4 years. They never disappoint! I recommend making an appointment ahead of time. I also don't mind waiting a little (5-10 mins) if they're busy, but they usually get me in on time. I went in today for a dip mani and regular pedi. So I wanted to wait and try this place out one more time before leaving my review but my nails just keep getting worse and worse. It's almost comical. I'm not going back. I called ahead and made an appointment that same day. No problem there. She asked what I was getting and I said A GEL MANI AND PEDI. She said ok. Great! Off I went. I got there and the place was pretty cute inside. I was excited!! Upon arriving I was greeted by a nice woman who asked me to sign in and pick my color. This is where my trouble started. Tip for store owner : When telling someone to pick a color maybe ask if it's gel, dip or regular so they know where the hell to pick the color from. I picked a white polish ( had no idea of it was gel or not) and was seated almost immediately. Great! I figured I'd just check with my nail tech about the polish once seated. No problem right? WRONG! 1st off this chick BARLEY spoke to me. NO SMILE, NOT NICE AT ALL. I was trying to be super pleasant even though she made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I mine as well have had a robot do my nails tbh. Anyway... I can get over that. What I can't get over was her NOT LISTENING to me AT ALL. I asked her if the polish I picked was gel because that's what I wanted and also what they had already written down that I was getting and I KNEW I was going to be charged for. She said "yes". I wasn't convinced she understood what I was saying so I waited a little while longer to see if she was going to bring out the UV light thing to set them after polish and she didn't so I asked her again... "excuse me but is that gel polish I picked out? If not I'd like that color but in gel pls." She then said "no" I had NOT in fact picked out a gel polish. At this point I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt that she just didnt understand me the 1st time. She goes and gets the "same" color in gel and upon coming back I notice IMMEDIATELY that it is the wrong color. It was baby pink. I was VERY confused. I AGAIN had to ask if that was white as to not be rude and she said yes even though the color indicator on it was PINK. She then opened it and sure enough.... PINK. I politely said "I'm sorry but I wanted white not pink". She then proceeded to try and paint my nails with the SAME REGULAR WHITE POLISH I ORIGINALLY TOLD HER I WANTED IN GEL. Smh. I had to AGAINNNNNNNN correct her politely. She got upset with me and huffed away to grab WHAT I HOPED IS ACTUALLY WHAT I WANTED. Finally she came back with what I had originally asked for. At this point I'm very upset not just because of all this confusion but also due to the fact that she hadn't spoken to me THE WHOLE TIME or smiled AND she started cutting and filing my nails without asking me how I would like them done. Which is square by the way not round like she made them! Tbh I should've just left after the horrible pedicure BUT I was there more for the mani than the pedi so I waited through it. After she finally got the pedi done she stared on my mani to my dismay. I was hoping to get someone else for that but NOPE smh. She treated me the same way. No talking, no smiling... nothing. She barely even looked at me. I was PISSED at this point looking around and seeing EVERYONE ELSE with pleasant staff and loving their nails. I usually go to a different place in seekonk but I figured because I didnt have much time and the reviews of this place were so good that I'd try it out. BIG MISTAKE. I'll stick to my normal nail artist next time. Ohhhhh and the best/worst part of all this you ask.... My nails started turning ORANGE from the tips within DAYSSSSS and they started to chip off! ***For some reason this is coming up as California but this is the Raynham, MA salon on Route 44 near PetSmart*** I had been a faithful customer for a year. Went in once a month, scheduling my next appointment a month in advance. I arrive to my appointment, picked my color and waited only to be told that they tried to call to "confirm" my appointment (which in a year they had NEVER done before) and since I didn't answer, they scheduled someone else in my spot. He confirmed my phone number which he wrote down wrong. He told me that he could RESCHEDULE me at a later time. The nail tech I was scheduled with took the other person who, incidentally, was not there when I arrived early for my 9 a.m. appointment. I told him I'd never be back. I know someone who still goes and she told me that they do NOT call to "confirm". Pretty disgusted by this incident and certainly not a way to conduct business. read more

Absolutely horrendous. Came for a mani/ pedi. Pedi was fine, it was average. Manicure looks like a 5 year old did them. I was visibly upset after being there for over 3 hours and they still had the nerve to charge me for what I could have done better myself. I've been going here for about a year now consistently and absolutely love it! I usually try to call in advance to set up an appointment later that day and I never end up waiting! If I come in and there is a long wait the owner will set up a better time for me later that day! I almost always leave loving my nails. They have a bunch of technicians and a million colors. First time coming here and had a great experience. My new go to and it's right in my town. I guess I never realized it was here! I usually go further away from the area because a lot of nail salons here have terrible reviews and I base my decisions heavily on what reviews say along with the companies' social media pages if available.. I will definitely pay for quality when it comes to my nails. They have an Instagram and Facebook page and their work can be seen on both. I walked in at 9:40 on a Tuesday (they open at 9:30) and there were already people getting their nails done and a few waiting. The wait is worth it, the outcome won't be half assed, trust me. I was shocked they were consistently busy on a Tuesday, but you can tell why. They definitely take their time to make your nails look fantastic. I appreciate the attention to detail and love that they are not just trying to pump people in and out quickly. I stupidly went in with no cash thinking I could add the tip to the receipt, they don't have that option so be aware. The nail tech told me not to worry and it was totally fine. Hands down the worst salon I've ever been to. I sat there for more than 2 hours and received the worst pedicure. Nail polish all over my cuticles, cut me multiple times making me bleed, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I was beyond pissed off so the next day I returned to talk about a possibly refund. They insisted on fixing but at that point I didn't want to sit for another 2 hours and I didn't feel comfortable after them talking to me the way they did. The "management" was beyond rude. They kept saying how their staff member spent so much time on me. Spent so much time on me and yet he still couldn't do a good job Another lady ended up taking all of my polish off and fixing for me. The guy came over and said she's fixing them all because she's a perfectionist.. hmm shouldn't all of your techs be perfectionists? Went there last week with my kids. Expensive and they are rude. My daughter asked for a design (3 lines to make a rainbow) the lady said "no I. Sent do that" and did an ugly flower. When I told her my daughter didn't like it and wanted something different she took the flower off and never did anything else. Have been going here for over a year now and today was the last. I make appointments every 2-3 weeks for a dip manicure for my mom and I. I went today assuming it would be the same as normal ,but it wasn't. I was there at 915 ,for a 930 appointment and two women walked in after my mother and I. They got seated before me and I just sat there while they had people start on their nails. The manager then took me to sit in the last seat and I was left to sit there and wait for that nail tech to finish someones pedicure. While sitting there waiting I decided to call Dragon Nails and ask if I could be seen as it was now 950 and I had been sitting there for over a half hour. They told me to come there and they would take me right away. Upon leaving the manager said to me "shes done,she can take you now". The nail tech was not done with that women and I found out from my mom that she wasn't finished with that women until after 10 o'clock. I am not going back to this place and had already started to search for a new place because the women I have had multiple times cuts me every time and I leave bleeding. This place is not worth the couple of dollars you might save and its better to just go to Dragon Nails as they have a better staff with better work. read more

So I took my sister here a couple weeks ago and the woman who did her nails cut herself and bled all over my sister. She then finally put a bandage on it after my sister was gagging because her blood was everywhere. I've been here before and had a good experience so I decided to go back on my way home from work. When I first arrived there was someone available right away. I brought my own polish and she saw me take it out of my purse when I arrived. I told her I just wanted a manicure. She seemed put out that I wasn't getting a pedicure too which I thought was weird. I used the restroom and when I came out she demanded my nail polish ("which color!") in this rude, demanding tone. She took one look at my fingers and said, "you have short nails" like it was something offensive. Yes, I type all day. I keep my nails short...so? The whole thing was silent and uncomfortable. She made my finger bleed when she was working on my cuticles which fine, whatever. She seemed hurried and it was the shortest manicure I've ever received. They weren't even busy. There were open stations. To top it off, when she sat me at the station to dry my nails she sat me down directly in front of a giant, tall plant so I couldn't even see the tv. There was no one else at the dryers. At that point it wasn't even worth mentioning. I just wanted out of there. Oh, and the lady didn't even give me back my nail polish. She actually put it on the shelf like it belonged to the salon. I had to ask her for it before I left. I was reading the other reviews and a lot of them mentioned the they were offered a bottle of water. I don't know if they still do that or not but I wasn't offered anything. I just felt like I was shuffled through as quickly as possible. read more

I had a very good experience. I called 90 minutes ahead to see if I could get 2 soa pedicures together for 2 pm on a Saturday and they said yes. We went to lunch and called again as we were running 30 minutes early. They said they might be able to get us in 15 minutes early but not 100% gauranteed. So I drove over and signed in early. They couldn't get us in early but they took us at 2, and we were given cold water during the wait. It was packed. The two pedicure technicians were great. They asked if we wanted a spa pedi or VIP pedi (VIP is the same as the spa but with 10 added minutes of massage and is $10 more). We asked if we could switch to the VIP and they had to double check the appointment schedule but they were able to accommodate the extra time. We had exfoliating scrub, a leg mask, hot stones, hot towels, parafin wax, and extra massage. We really relaxed and it was worth the $51. Our service was one hour. The massage chair was good, but I'll have to go back and find a different setting because I had the massage intensity way too high. It felt good but also hurt a bit like when you get a deep tissue massage. Not a complaint- just a heads up that I recommend finding the best setting while you are there. At one point, she had a regular towel on me and I was confused. I was just thinking 'why is this a plain dry towel instead of a steaming hot towel?' but it was all part of the process. The hot towels came later. They are very clean, I watched the techs get fresh clean tools each time and thoroughly clean the pedicure baths after each person. I asked the tech what times are best time come in and she said definitely before 5 pm during the week because they get slammed. She also said that weekdays before noon are best if you have a baby in a stroller or need to avoid the crowd. I also liked the music and the general noise level in there was low enough that it was relaxing. A huge plus was that no one was yelling across the salon. That was something that the staff at Royal nails did when I used to go there and it really broke the relaxation. I'll be back and update my review to see if the service is great again! read more

The front desk gentleman kept taking other people in before our group. When I went up and asked what the hold up was, he shrugged and said he was working on it. I didn't have a positive experience. I was told I would be seated in five minutes and waited a half an hour. Every time I got up to go they said just one more second one more second. OK OK all I wanted was a fingernail and toenail color change I told them I put polish over the gel polish I had on him. They start the process of doing my nails and then tell me it's going to be an extra five dollars because they had is not only take off the coat of polish but then file off the gel. Very pushy wanted to upgrade me for everything. All I wanted was a color change. The person was very unprofessional and obviously talking about me. Kept pointing and speaking and I would ask what's the matter and she would say nothing. Won't go back. Better experience across the street. read more

This was my first time coming here and I won't be back. First I got here at 650 and they close at 730. It was my intention to get a gel manicure. While the woman was dremeling the top layer or the gel I already had on my nails I asked her about 'dip' because I heard it was better for your nails. After a quick chat chat I decided that I would try the dip manicure instead. I was cognizant of the time but she assured me it would be no problem. While my nails were covered with acetone soaked cotton she showed me the different dip colors so I could pick one. All good up to this point. The cotton came off my nails one by one and she began to scrape the remaining gel off, no problem. Then when there was nothing more than little spots of gel here and there she began to try to dremel my nails!!! Why??? I pulled back, and asked her not to do that so she then proceeded to use an Emory board to remove the rest. Now there was literally no reason to do this, a little more acetone and the gel would have come right off. As she finished she placed my hand into a bowl of COLD water, literally for 10 seconds and then began to clip my cuticles... I'm sorry don't most places A. use warm water and B. use a cuticle softener? I decided that this would not have ended well if I had continued on with the dip, she was clearly cutting corners to save time. I told her I changed my mind and just wanted a regular manicure. By this time it was about 25 past 7 and most of the other employees were packing up and turning lights off. I was asked to pay before the polish was applied, and I paid $14 for the manicure and $6 extra! Wtf was the $6 extra for??? I asked, and I'm sorry but I couldn't understand a word she said... $20 and she rushed thru 1 coat of polish and I swipe of top coat. I was ushered over to the dryer while all the employees huddled by the door ready to leave. I sat there for a few minutes then left. 1 of my nails was ruined before I even made it home. So I rarely leave reviews but after my experience I absolutely HAD to convey what an amazing time I had here. It was clean, well organized and relaxing. I came after making an appointment, and they were accommodating with my changing my mind from getting a gel set to a pedicure. I have dwarfism and have long accepted that pedicures are going to be less relaxing for me then the average public as the chairs are not suited for me. HOWEVER the staff at the salon were so accommodating with making the chair completely comfortable for me, complete with a bed chair and additional tub in the pedicure tub so my feet could be submerged. The special attention continued when I needed to put my toes under the dryer and they gave me one of the pedicure chairs to sit in. This kind of special attention without prompting means so much and made my experience delightful, thank you! read more

Beware!!! I called ahead of time to see if they could accommodate me as a walk-in and to inquire about the price for the nail dip powder service. Over the phone I was told it was $38.00 flat for the dip powder and they could take me right away as long as I got there in 10 minutes. I arrived in about 7 minutes. By the end of my service the tech wrote up the slip as if my natural nails were acrylics (I had to demonstrate at the front desk that my natural nails were real and not fakes) and they added bogus upcharges!!! 1) For shaping my nails as the "coffin" style...??? Really? Not cool after they had already quoted me the price over the phone and I confirmed upon arrival. 2) For paying with a Credit Card...it wasn't an American Express, so is it even legal for you to upcharge for a customer to pay with a CC when you allegedly accept credit cards???!!! Also, at the end of my nail dip powder service a couple of my nails had bumps on them (was able to get them corrected before leaving). Other than that, the male tech I had was really nice. They have a ton of options for colors! They even do foils and ombres on the dip (probably will upcharge you for that too). Hope the upcharges were worth losing a potential new client that was willing to tip well above 20% of the services rendered. And to boost, a honest Yelp review to warn others. read more

went with my mother in law to get a nail fix and fill. waited an hour and a half. barely any staff. when the guy did my nails, and fixed the broken one, he didn't make them the shape i asked for and they didn't match. also left air bubbles under the nail that was fixed and my finger got infected and swollen. they also charged me to take the nail off on top of that. read more

Tried here tonight for the first time. I walked in at 4:40 with no appointment and the place was packed plus people waiting! I was told 20 minute wait, which I kinda doubted. They had a lot of techs in though and I only ended up waiting 25 minutes (and yes, they gave me a bottle of water). I got a very nice, soft spoken girl who explained the spa pedi vs regular. I had to get home so opted for the shorter regular. It was great! She was very nice and gentle and did a great job. I'm definitely going back and next time will be the spa pedi! read more

One of the best nail salons I've ever been to. Staff is very attentive and friendly, they even give you a bottle of water to enjoy while you wait! Leslie, the owner is my go to. I like my nails almond shaped and she effortlessly shaped them perfectly on the first try. During today's visit she suggested that the color I chose would look great with a matte top coat and she was spot on. I can't wait to try out their pedicures! I went in for a pedicure and full set of acrylic nails. My acrylic set came out great. My nail tech paid attention to detail and took her time. The only thing I didn't like regarding my nails was her and 2 other techs wasted 15 minutes trying to convince me of a more expensive product. My pedicure was absolutely awful. Not worth the $30 by any means. The woman took about 45 seconds on each leg and was done. They use hot towels as wraps and only used it on one of my legs. My toenails are painted completely uneven as well. I will definitely try and find another salon. Unfortunate because it is a beautiful facility and very clean. read more
