He also took a look at the plan I was on and suggested updating it to something that would better suit my needs and save me a few bucks in the process. Usually having to spend a Sunday afternoon at a phone store isn't high up on my list but Larry and the rest of the staff made it a pleasant experience. I don't live in/near RVC and only went to this Verizon location because I was in the area and desperately needed to get a new phone but based on the amazing service I'd make the trek out there for any future wireless needs!

I told the rep that I need a new phone because mine broke and is beyond repair after confirmation by uBreakiFix by Asurion. The Rep wasted my time by detaining me for 3 hours and telling me that I had to get a new phone and a new phone number and he would set everything up for the next visit on 08/10/2026. When I left at closing time, no set up was complete. I returned the next day, and my associate repeated that I can only get a new phone because I can't trade my phone because it is broken. I told him that important business contacts have that number and it is very important. By the end of the visit, I am stressed, perplexed, and aggravated. Leaving with the new phone, new number and a new phone plan. What resonated deeply is that Verizon and its staff do not care about the customer, they are more focused on opportunities to drive revenue and make a sale. What should have happened was.... I walk in to buy a new phone and keep the same contract. She only put a band aid on the problem. Furthermore, the manager indicted her subordinate by telling me he was new. Solution: If you have a new employee, you verify, instruct and coach. I have been a Verizon customer since 2001 for Verizon home service and mobile service in 2005. As a loyal customer and faithful to Verizon I experience great loss and including time that I cannot recapture. Dealing with this loss I had to return to the store 08/15 due to Verizon's return policy. I spoke with the manager on duty. Explaining to her what happened and that I cannot use this phone because of the new line has nothing to do with my business contacts and no one has the number. She says, yes, you can use the phone, and she switched my main phone (older model) to the brand-new phone and swapped the cell numbers so that the new cell number is on the older module. I also suffered wasted attempts on the phone trying to speak to customer support but all they did was generate a report. I spoke with a "Customer Champion" on 08/19/26 @ 9:13 AM. She promised that she would have great success and guaranteed that she would fix my situation. I believed her because she told me that she was a woman of the cloth and I can depend on her and that she would "hold me hand and walk me through the process. She had me interrupt my morning and go visit the Verizon store to retrieve a sim card and to notify her when I arrived. I arrived at 11:39 AM and relayed the conversation to the rep at the Verizon Corp store and he had the slightest idea on how to get me a sim card AND I did not hear from Ms. Reverend representative until 4:57 PM. She had to go teach a seminary course so that was my very last conversation, all she said was " Good afternoon, Napoleon. This is Toya. Thank you for sending the text. (with a worthless apology) My apologies for my delayed response. I tried calling *611 and hang the phone up. Blank stare. :-l It is time for me to find another carrier. It has been said that all of them are the same, but the difference is, I have not experienced that. Improvement: Train the entire store or else, everyone gets screwed. Please do not send me a generated, we are sorry message because it does nothing for me. Inspire more, Yelp more!
